Wonderful hotel, brand new, perfectly curated and spot on service.
The hotel itself is beautiful, spottless clean. The room was perfect and super comfortable. The bed was comfortable as well as the pillows, the shower was perfect too. Also, there were complimentary water and fruit daily in our room.
It is very well maintained and you can see the staff replacing and updating the lobby facilities, even if they looked brand new.
The staff was very attentive, eager and solved anything quickly. Joanna and her team were always available and with good disposition towards our every needs. Thank you so much for our amazing stay.
The staff was super attentive to details, for example they realized I showered twice daily, and the following day they directly put extra towels in my room. That was a super nice gesture.
In addition there is a free laundy service, a member of staff is there to clean and pack your clothes free of charge. That was a plus specially in Zhangjiajie where you may need to clean your sports clothes after a day of hicking.
Breakfast was good too, complete and with variety. I particularly loved the pool, where you could rest after a day walking and climbing.
Would definetely choose the Hilton again when I go back. Was my second time in Zhanghiajie and would definetely come back to this hotel.
Ps: loved the panda robot that delivers stuff to the rooms!

The hotel's hardware is 5 stars, but the interior is poor. The power went out right after I checked in. The emergency light in my room came on, and alarms were blaring in the hallway. I asked the front desk, and they said they were repairing the elevator and the entire hotel was out of power. It would be back on soon. The power kept going out, coming back on, and then back on again, over and over again. The hallway was incessantly blaring, making it incredibly noisy.
That evening, I was going out for dinner. The power outage meant I had to take the stairs. Halfway down, the power came back on, and the stairwell door was locked, preventing me from exiting. I had to go back up and take the elevator again. No staff member gave me any guidance.
Also, the next morning, around 10:00 AM, the staff knocked on my door and said they needed to clean my room?! Is this what a 5-star hotel should be like? I was staying for two consecutive nights, so shouldn't there be a sign?
Third, this was the first time I'd encountered a high-end hotel with unventilated bathrooms. Every time I used the restroom, the bathroom was stinking.
Fourth, there was a wedding being hosted in the hotel restaurant that day. Local weddings have a band playing drums and gongs, and the noise was incredibly loud, with absolutely no soundproofing. Fortunately, I left at noon.
Good things: The facilities were very good, the breakfast was delicious and varied, and there was an airport shuttle service (though each room only had one service; if you were picked up at the airport, you couldn't get one. I don't know why this is the case). Fruit was delivered daily.
The night after the power outage, the hotel sent a bag of tea as an apology.
This is probably the best five-star hotel in Zhangjiajie, with mixed feelings.
