Hampton by Hilton Hotels in Zhangjiajie

We had a wonderful stay at the Pullman. George from the concierge was very helpful in booking our tickets. The location is fantastic, close to East Gate, with major attractions just a few kilometers away. Although we hired a Didi, it's also possible to walk to these attractions. The western food section in the restaurant could use some improvement; the pizza tasted more like cheese on bread than an actual pizza. However, the breakfast buffet was quite nice. We definitely recommend this place for families, as the pool is great for both kids and adults after a long day of walking.

The hotel is conveniently situated walking distance from the cable car, close to the railway station and the airport. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was nourishing and essential to the good start of our long mountain trips. We especially enjoyed the café near the front desk. While staying there, I recommend you to visit the 72 wonders house in Zhangjiajie - a folk type food and crafts place. We went on a Sunday, there was like a closing party and we had the best of times. 

Our stay at Manyuan exceeded expectations. Every staff member we met was thoughtful and kind, and Xiaoxiao (晓晓) stood out as a true miracle worker. She took the time to address our concerns, even late at night, due to our tricky itinerary. Her incredible service made all the difference in our experience. We initially chose Manyuan for its clean, spacious rooms with a tub, as well as benefits like itinerary planning, a complimentary foot bath, and breakfast. We were relieved and impressed to find all these—and much more. Upon our late-night arrival, we were pleasantly surprised to find a plate of fresh fruit prepared in our room. The hotel even provided more upon request, which helped tide us over until breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, the selection featured plenty of delicious Chinese options. My wife and I especially enjoyed the tasty yogurt, and I appreciated the easy-to-use coffee machine, fragrant tea, and simple yet satisfying cakes and dumplings. Thete weee plenty of other choices, too. Xiaoxiao also made our park visits effortless by booking our tickets in advance. Thanks to her help, all we had to do was scan our passports or use facial recognition to enter the attractions. After a long day exploring Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, the complimentary foot bath was a welcome treat—we simply had to boil water, add provided herbal pouches, and a basin made it easy to enjoy a relaxing soak. When we encountered an unexpected emergency, Xiaoxiao was incredibly understanding and responsive, once again demonstrating her dedication and professionalism. She even helped us with our Lantern Festival itinerary that would take place after we'd checked out. She acknowledged weather considerations and even road closures ahead of providing her recommendations. Her wide yet humble knowledge of the area deeply moved us. Even the small details at Manyuan, like the delicious front desk candies and complimentary luggage storage, added to our enjoyment. We are deeply grateful for such a warm and accommodating experience and highly recommend Manyuan to future travelers.

The place was really great and beautiful, their views from the rooms and pool were stunning. An old lady working there was so friendly and made some of the best Chinese food we ever had. Definitely recommend the place ☀️

One of the best hotel stays we have ever had in China. Amazing hospitality and the most delicious breakfast everyday. My girlfriend is a picky eater and she devoured their wonton soup. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The bed was very comfy and the view outside of the room was phenomenal. I came to Wulingyuan for all of the amazing hiking and scenery but every morning we wanted to relax in our room because of how cozy it felt. Staff was amazing, and even drove us to get food late in the evening instead of allowing us to call a taxi. He went over the best forest park routes for us and reccomended a great, affordable massage therapist. Ask for therapists #82 & #50. And one of the highlights of our stay that I believe emphasizes the caring nature of the family running the hotel is that the night we arrived, they rescued 2 baby kittens and created a place to shelter them. As animal lovers, we really appreciated that. Cant wait to return!

The hotel is next to the start of the cableway for the Tianmen mountain. Staff is great, the rooms are good (only negative note is the carpet, that is a bit dirty due to many years and also there is some paper on the walls that is not super clean but ok, nothing major). Air conditioning works great, breakfast is good and the service also (room is made every day!). We strongly suggest this place and we will for sure come back

Amazing customer service! Absolutely worth 5 stars review! Helped us arranged our day trip, booked all tickets for us, draw the map for us. Pick us up from the city centre, drop us off to the Zhangjiajie national park entrance. Besides of the best service, they have the stunning mountain view from the room. Quite, peaceful, that’s all you need for a relaxing holiday. Specially thanks to conceirge Wu, he is very kind and very thoughtful. Definitely recommend this hotel. Can’t load pictures. Such a nice hotel! The location is absolutely incredible, only a 15 minute jog or 5 minute drive to the west gate of the national park (the hotel also offers complimentary drop-off and pick-up from the gate!). The sunset viewpoint from the infinity pool is stunning, the room was comfortable and clean, and the staff were incredibly helpful, like Rain. The Tea Master even wrote us a beautiful 2 meter Chinese calligraphy scroll to celebrate our recent engagement! She was genuinely one of the highlights of our trip to China, thank you for teaching us all about the history of tea and Chinese culture. Not the best location if you wanted to see the glass bridge, but honestly the rest of Zhangjiajie was so good we didn't feel like we missed anything! Would recommend this hotel to everyone, 5/5 stars from us
