This is the hotel to stay at !!! The staff was very helpful despite the language barrier. Some could speak English and as soon as you check in, they add you on WeChat. You can communicate with them. They answered all our questions on the hotel as well as on Zhangjiajie. The park is accessible by a nice path by the hotel, leading straight to the main entrance. The room was very spacious and well furnished. I would recommend to book a room with a balcony. I had a direct view on the houses at the back of the property, so opening the curtain was problematic. Despite that, I enjoyed my room. The air con was cold as needed for the scorching temperatures we had. The bed was comfortable and the cleaning services on point. Daily room cleaning with fruits basket and water bottles. Depending where the room is, it can be quite noisy at certain times. Mine was near the elevator, very convenient but noisy at time. They also provide ironing service if needed. The breakfast was good with a lot of options Chinese and some western. The coffee was good and the machine let you choose the intensity of your coffee. A 5-10 mins walk to have access to the main street near the hotel with a bunch of restaurants. There are some near the hotel too. We didn’t try those ones. We had a good massage at the massage place next door. That really helped us for the second day of exploration.Not so good when we went back, different masseuses. Overall, this hotel is a keeper. The pictures on the website are what you get.

We had an amazing experience during our 3 nights/4 days stay at this hotel. We booked the hotel online after going through reviews on trip.com and were not disappointed. The staff were in touch on WeChat throughout and even upgraded our room. Despite the language barrier, the staff, especially Xiaohua, Jessica and Chenney were very helpful, going out of their way to help us plan our visits to the National park and other attractions. They helped us book tickets and explained the routes very patiently. We were extremely satisfied with their service, attentiveness and helpfulness. They also helped us order in food after a long & exhausting day of hiking. Breakfast was simple yet delicious. The hotel arranged free pick up and drop to the East Gate of the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park. On my request, they arranged a small surprise for my husband’s birthday. 100% recommend this hotel.

The hotel is within walking distance away from Zhangjiajie National Park East Entrance. The stream is just at the doorstep. Pick a shallow spot for some water splashing activities with the children. The hotel staff is helpful and friendly. Contacted me after I booked the room via WeChat. Helped me purchased Zhangjiajie National Park, Grand Canyon, and Tianmen mountain tickets at a cheaper price. The helpful staff also helped me plan my itinerary and trekking route that is less taxing on the knees for my elderly mother. It ended up that the staff recommended that I should stay one night less at their Lanting hotel after they reorganised my itinerary to spend a night at Furong Town (that I had originally planned for a day trip only). The staff said that having more time at Furong is more relaxing and we could enjoy the night view and performances. The hotel staff provide a discount number that we could quote if we dine at 12 restaurants nearby to enjoy the discounted price. I am very impressed by Lanting's professionalism and service. I highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Zhangjiajie.

I booked this hotel because of its affordable price and it's close to bus, train and the the Tianmenshan Cable Car entrance. But got a few pleasant surprise, first of they provide me a free pickup from the airport, and then offered me free breakfasts, and the room feels surprisingly luxurious for its price, all facilities are modern and in perfect condition. The bed and pillows are very comfortable and I had excellent quality of sleep. For its price, the hotel is a really good choice.

Really amazing stay at Tingtang hotel. Its a short 5-6mins walk from Wu Ling yan entrance to the national forest park. There’s also many eateries around in the vicinity, plenty of mini marts if you want to stock your snacks and water supplies. Surprisingly we had complimentary breakfast provided by the hotel and they will cook you fresh bowl of noodles/vermicelli upon request. Highly recommended for friends/ couples or families to stay. The receptionist at tingtang also made their tour map to guide us how to visit the national forest park. We are blown away by their amazing service. Hotel room is huge, clean, neat, very modern!! I genuinely recommend everyone to stay here!

dan dan, our advisor/ receptionist during our stay was extremely hospitable. she picked us up and dropped us at the airport. apart from that, they have wechat which allows the staff to connect with you quickly if you have any issues or enquiry during your stay. she mapped out our zhang jia jie trip since we only planned to do a day just so it’s worth it for us and for us a really good price as compared to other platforms. since we checked out early, we left our luggage at the receptionist and came back from ZJJ to take a quick shower - she was really nice to offer that. on top of that, they have laundry room w washing machine and a dryer too! (and free laundry detergent) the breakfast was average though. other than that, it’s all good! would 10/10 come back again

During my 3-week holiday in China, I’ve stayed in several hotels—but Yun Mei Bie Yuan has been my absolute favorite! I honestly couldn’t find a single fault. The room was spotless and extremely comfortable, with next-level amenities. It was cleaned daily, the shower and toilet were separate, and the water pressure was perfect—whether hot or cold. The room also came with a buffet breakfast. While the menu stayed the same each day, the variety was great and satisfying. One of the biggest advantages is how peaceful the hotel is—no noise at all, which made my stay even more relaxing. Although it’s away from the hustle and bustle, everything is still easy to reach, and Didi taxis are very affordable. Another great feature is the self-service laundry area, which was super convenient and quiet. What truly made my stay special was the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to make me feel welcome—especially Xiao Yang, Xiao Peng, and Xiaowu. They are real stars! Xiao Peng even convinced me to try and buy some traditional Chinese tea—he has excellent customer service and sales skills. And the best part? The price of this hotel is unbelievable for what you get. I’m already looking forward to returning with my friends. Definitely the highlight of my trip!

The service at the hotel was excellent, and the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. I’d especially like to mention Zhang Xiaoyuan, who went out of her way to assist us—despite our language barrier, we communicated smoothly via WeChat and Google Translate, which was greatly appreciated. We also got a free pick up service in a luxury van and managed to check in early - you also get a free tea experience on the 7th floor. The hotel’s location is very convenient, just a 15-minute walk from the east gate of the national park. There are also several restaurants within a 5 to 10-minute walk, offering plenty of dining options. Breakfast was enjoyable, with a good mix of options including some Western choices like toast, cakes, and watermelon. The freshly made rice noodles and eggs stood out as the highlights for me given that I’m gluten free and vegetarian. Our room was comfortable and well-equipped, featuring a Japanese toilet and a soothing hot tub—a lovely touch for relaxing after a day of exploring. The king-sized bed provided a great night’s sleep. Overall, I highly recommend staying here for a few days if you plan to spend time in the national park.

The hotel was the perfect choice to stay for us. We visited the Tianmen Mountain, the National Park, the Glass Bridge and the Huanglongdong Scenic Area (Yellow Dragon Cave). The hotel staff was very friendly, the breakfast was tasty and we really liked the design of our room. Furthermore the room and the complete hotel was very clean. ☺️ We would book a room again when we will visit Zhangjiajie the next time. ☺️

The overall style of the hotel is dignified and grand. The beds are dry and soft, very comfortable. It is very close to the scenic area, but not noisy and very quiet. There are also many restaurants nearby, which is very convenient. The cleaning sister cleans up in a timely manner. It is clean and tidy. There is a balcony and clothesline where you can dry clothes. It is very pleasant to blow the evening breeze at night. It would be even better if it could be equipped with a free laundry room.
