To my relief, the family who runs this, went above and beyond to make my stay smooth and memorable. From the very beginning, their support was incredible. They personally helped me arrange tickets for Tianmen Mountain early the next morning, and carefully guided me on how to reach the cable car, how to navigate the routes, and the best ways to explore the mountain. She even secured my entry tickets for Zhangjiajie National Park for the same day and the following day. Throughout my trip, she kept in touch with me on WeChat, giving me step-by-step guidance on where to go and how to get there — something I deeply appreciated as a solo traveler in an unfamiliar city. The room itself was spotless and well-maintained. My room was very clean, thoughtfully prepared, and stocked with everything I needed, including bottled water and full toiletries. The location, though tucked slightly inside two small lanes, was excellent — very close to the Tianmen Mountain cable car station and surrounded by lively street food stalls that made evening walks delightful. What really stood out was the warmth and dedication of the staff, whose help made my Zhangjiajie trip seamless and stress-free. This place is not only a comfortable place to stay but also a haven of genuine hospitality. "Our first stop on our Zhangjiajie trip. We arrived at Hehua Airport at 10:30 PM and got to the hotel at 11:00 PM. We booked a family room, which was great value for money. The location is fantastic, less than a 500-meter walk from the lower station of the Tianmen Mountain cable car, and surrounded by many eateries. The owner was very friendly and offered complimentary luggage storage. After exploring Tianmen Mountain the next day, we took a taxi to the National Forest Park in the evening. It only took about 40 minutes to reach our next hotel there, which was very convenient."

"We initially booked for two nights, but our plans changed, so we extended for two more. The projector in the room offered a very clear picture. Given how hot it was in the afternoons, the kids would often stay in the room watching TV. In the evenings, we'd head out for dinner. "This hotel is located near the Tianmen Mountain Cableway and is a smart home inn. The decor is Japanese-style and minimalist, and the best part is the view of Tianmen Mountain from the window, which is very bright. Since we were traveling with children, the owner upgraded us to a family room on our first night, and we stayed in the room we'd originally booked. If you're planning to visit Tianmen Mountain on your first day, this is a great place to stay. However, the drive to Zhangjiajie is quite far, about 50 minutes. However, the advantage of staying here is that you can easily find popular local restaurants, Hunan rice noodles, and barbecue options are readily available. It's also not far from the Seventy-Two Wonders Towers. The owner was very kind and provided a lot of help during our trip to Zhangjiajie."

"As a family of three with a child, we spent four fantastic days and three nights exploring Zhangjiajie. Our stay was incredibly comfortable, truly feeling like a home away from home. After long days of sightseeing, we'd often return quite sweaty, so having the convenience of washing our clothes was a huge bonus. The host even helped us purchase discounted tickets for Zhangjiajie National Forest Park! This place is highly recommended for families traveling with children. Its city-center location makes getting around, finding food, and drinks incredibly easy."

"This is an extension of my previous review. We had such a pleasant time that we extended our stay at Spring Inn. Spring Inn is very close to 72 wonder tower (七十二奇楼). The tower is walkable, about 10 mins walk. It is also a 6 to 7 min Didi ride to Zhangjiajie West railway, where the high speed trains depart. We took the high speed train to Fenghuang Ancient Town from Zhangjiajie West Station. It is about 50 to 65 mins train ride. Spring Inn is also close to Tianmen Mountain. It was a 10 to 15 min Didi ride. I find Spring Inn's location great as a springboard to explore Tianmen Mountain, Zhangjiajie City, and the Furong and Fenghuang ancient towns (via high speed trains)."

"The environment of this store is quiet and comfortable, and the boss is very enthusiastic. Grandma is very kind. We are Hui people who specially prepared breakfast for us. Very heartwarming. It feels as easy as being at home. The key point is that it is very close to the city and is very convenient to go anywhere. I will also bring my family to stay for a few days. You won’t be disappointed with your preferred accommodation in Tianmen Mountain"

"We absolutely loved our stay at Hidden City Riverside Boutique! The view from our room was absolutely stunning we couldn’t get enough of it. The room itself was spotless, and the host was super friendly and helpful throughout our stay. They even offer a free pickup service from the railway station, just make sure to contact them ahead of time. The location is great only about 10 minutes by Didi to the Tianmen Mountain cable car, and there are shopping malls and restaurants nearby, so finding food was easy. My partner and I fell in love with this place. Highly recommend!"
