💖 Wonderful Stay at Atour Tianmen Mountain Cableway Hotel, Zhangjiajie I really want to say thank you to the lovely receptionist Ms. Guoli 🌸 She was so kind and helpful — she helped me arrange an early check-in, made sure my room was ready, and even called the hotel in Furong Town to help me arrange a car pick-up from the train station. That really saved me a lot of time and made my trip so much easier! The hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and comfortable, with great service and a warm welcome. If I ever come back to Zhangjiajie, I’ll definitely stay at Atour Tianmen Mountain Hotel again. ❤️ ＞ Excellent service, friendly staff, and a truly caring experience. Highly recommended! 🌿

We stayed for three consecutive nights. The front desk service was excellent, and the hotel was clean. Be aware that if you go for breakfast late, the food options might be limited. They offer complimentary late-night congee and pickles at 9:30 PM, which was a very comforting treat after a long day of exploring. Although our initial booking for the first night didn't include breakfast, a kind staff member at the front desk generously offered us one. On the day of check-out, we were still out in the scenic area and couldn't make it back to communicate in time, but the front desk graciously extended our check-out until 3 PM, which we greatly appreciated. The hotel's location is fantastic, just a 10-minute walk to the Tianmen Mountain Cableway Station. There are also plenty of restaurants, big and small, and local specialty shops nearby. Overall, a great experience. The attached photo shows the view from my room's window, where you can clearly see the cableway.

Let me explain why I gave this a bad review. 1. The new hotel has a noticeable smell of renovations right in the elevator lobby. The uncle from another hotel who took the elevator with us also said it was quite strong. The smell was even stronger once we got to the guest rooms on the upper floors. The same was true in the rooms, so be careful with children! ⚠️ 2. How's the cleanliness in the new hotel? See the pictures below. I was traveling during the National Day holiday, so I didn't expect to have any extra rooms to change. 3. There's a supermarket upstairs. I don't know if it's the supermarket that restocks the goods daily, or if it's the restaurant next door. We stayed there for two nights, and every morning around 4:00 AM, large trucks would unload goods. Several men would talk and cough and make calls on their phones. We didn't understand their dialect, but the noise of unloading and slamming truck doors would last for nearly an hour. Sleep quality was average, and even after they left, you couldn't sleep. 4. When booking the hotel, I read reviews about the various butlers, and I didn't see any. I'm also a premium member of Atour, and the service at the Hilton in the city the next day was incomparable. In short, this is the first time I give a bad review. I hope the hotel can improve its hygiene services. Don't rely on finding people to give good reviews. Really look for problems in newly opened hotels.
