The hotel is very close to Hongcun and Pingshan, and not far from the town. You can go out to eat local dishes at night. I am not used to staying in private B&Bs, and I think it is good to see this kind of regular star hotel with a good environment. There are not many varieties of breakfast, but the quality is good and not perfunctory. There are no shopping malls in the whole Yi County.

This was a trip that I took my 86 years old mom to travel with me. After a long bullet train ride and shuttle ride, Banyan Tree Huangshan gave us a warm welcome by upgrading our room to a villa. The place is beautifully designed, nested in a valley with traditional Hui style building. Inside the rooms, they have the western style bedroom and bathroom comforts, but the deco is traditional Chinese arts with a modern twist, very elegant, not the tacky hotel chain style but details that fits the surrounding nature beauty. All the rooms and facilities are very clean, and service people are very nice too. We had the front desk clerk Sweet, who updated our stay and a room cleaning lady May Zhang who helped us with our needs. Very thankful to their help! The outside garden design blends in with the surrounding mountains. They even have a petting zoo for visitors young and old. We dined in their Chinese restaurant the first night. The foods were good but I won't say exceptional. For two of us, it was way too much in food quantity for one order. We felt bad to waste food this way. Wish they have had smaller choices. But their breakfast is very impressive. And even though they are very close to Hong Village where the shuttle stops, they did not offer free shuttle which I think they should. Unlike most hotels within the village, this hotel has conserved the architecture of the exterior and interior of the over 300 years old structure. It is well maintained with modern amenities and a nice manicured garden filled with bonsai plants. The Chinese breakfast was simple and nice. The menu has a good range of beverages and the food was good at reasonable prices. The room we stayed was small but cozy. It is within the main building and just outside the room there is a reading lounge. It was quiet and hardly used while we were there. 这不单是很特色的建筑楼房，我们仿佛回到了历史上了！ 小红和小桃为我们的服务特佳，给了我们很温的感觉！

The owner of the B&B is very nice. He can pick you up when you go to Hongcun. The restaurant of the B&B is delicious. I really like the stinky mandarin fish and the braised spareribs (stinky mandarin fish lovers will be delighted). There are also many people who come to eat there. The only thing is that the room is a little damp during the rainy season. The air conditioning and floor heating are very powerful. The supporting toiletries are very complete. After checking out, there are also gifts. You can see that they are run with care. Overall, it is good and I will recommend it to my friends.

The hotel is 4 kilometers away from Hongcun. During the National Day, this price is more cost-effective. The scenery is super like. The outdoor swimming pool is unfortunately cold and cannot swim. There is a big lake outside the swimming pool and the room is very large. However, the facilities are a bit old, the bathing facilities are not convenient, and the breakfast is average. For dining, it is recommended to go to the Sancha Road at the entrance of the hotel to Hongcun for 50 meters. There is a small kitchen in the family courtyard. The public comment list is one... One tip: get rid of mosquitos before guests check in or provide a mosquito net above the bed.

The dishes in the restaurant have a fusion of Hangzhou cuisine and Cantonese cuisine. They are light and not greasy, and the ingredients are fresh. The nutrition, taste and taste have achieved a good balance. I stayed in Banyan Tree last year. The two hotels have their own characteristics, but I personally feel that Weixiyuan is better in customer privacy, humanized service and supporting facilities. Jiuweixiyuan is very suitable for the whole family to stay. There are also many activities arranged in the hotel. The room is very comfortable. I especially like the Japanese courtyard design style in the front yard and the separate tatami study room on the second floor.
