We had Beer Fish and Stuffed Snails with Minced Pork for lunch at the guesthouse. In the evening, we went back to West Street to try a renowned Beer Fish restaurant. Not only were there heavy traffic and massive crowds, but the Beer Fish there was also significantly inferior to what we had at our guesthouse. The next day, we didn't hesitate to order lunch at the guesthouse again. Their Bamboo Tube Chicken was genuinely cooked in a real bamboo tube, unlike the ones you often find elsewhere that are just for show. Although the guesthouse's exterior might look a bit dated and can't quite compare to the sleek, newly opened high-end B&Bs, the service and the food are absolutely impeccable. They boast a swimming pool, horse stables, serene valley views, and a terrace perfect for stargazing. It truly embodies the comfortable, laid-back country life. A perfect spot for a relaxing vacation, ideal for unwinding and just kicking back. Upon departure, they even gave us brown sugar and chili sauce as a thoughtful farewell gift.

I received a complimentary room upgrade thanks to a promotion! The welcome fruit was incredibly delicious, and the complimentary afternoon tea was also excellent. Breakfast was fantastic, and the ambiance was truly wonderful. The staff provided excellent service. Upon checkout, they even surprised us with a thoughtful farewell gift!

As my child is a huge fan of Huang Zi, we made a special trip to visit this spot he/she'd been to. The room was incredibly comfortable and quiet, and it even featured a huge bathtub. Both the afternoon tea and breakfast were absolutely superb! Right next door is the Huaxiangu Equestrian Center. Waking up in the morning, we were greeted by the sight of many horses leisurely grazing in the pastures. It was such a tranquil and delightful experience!

The surroundings were wonderful, and the room was spotlessly clean. The butler service was exceptionally attentive. We also received a welcome fruit platter with fresh and delicious fruit. There's daily afternoon tea with delightful snacks, and breakfast was absolutely superb. Upon check-out, we were even given a thoughtful and exquisite souvenir. All in all, we were extremely satisfied.

Amazing hotel with 3 pools and very nice common areas (outdoor living room, an internal living room a breakfast area with amazing great view and a gorgeous garden). The breakfast is local and prepared with love every morning! They gave us a room upgrade and our suite was beautiful and huge: a comfortable bed, a bathtube, a shower and a big terrace! The staff has been super helpful and friendly! They did everything possible to make our stay memorable: they helped us with the laundry (that is free), renting a scooter in less than 2 minutes, organizing some activities (we tried the private barbecue in the garden and an experience in the morning with local flowers and herbs…both have been great!). The hotel is nestled in a super location, you are surrounded by the mountains of Yangshuo but you are also close by the city centre! At the end of our stay they gave a small present that we have really appreciated! We cannot recommend this hotel enough! It’s really worth it!

My stay was absolutely fantastic! I checked in with my dog, Bobo, and this is hands down one of the most thoughtful and professional pet-friendly hotels I've ever stayed at. All the staff members were incredibly friendly towards dogs! They even thoughtfully prepared afternoon tea and toys for my little one! The hotel's location is also super convenient, right next to the QianGuQing scenic area. The room was clean, tidy, and fully equipped, featuring a smart toilet and even Dyson hairdryers! The selection of amenities showed great care, and the bedding was wonderfully comfortable. Both afternoon tea and breakfast were delicious! I will definitely choose to stay here again next time. Highly recommended! Every moment spent here felt pleasant and relaxing.

Pictures 1-5 showcase the room view, afternoon tea, doggy afternoon tea, the swimming pool, and the hotel's courtyard. There was also a delightful breakfast (which I completely forgot to photograph!). Honestly, every single aspect was fantastic. It truly gets my highest recommendation!

Wonderful! First off, the room was very spacious, and a delightful scent greeted us upon entry. The common areas were also very inviting for dining and drinks. Just outside the courtyard, there's a swimming pool that the staff meticulously cleaned and filled for an hour or two. It was such a shame we hadn't brought our swimsuits! The welcome fruit, afternoon tea, and breakfast were all exquisite and thoughtfully presented. But most importantly, the bedding was superb, ensuring an incredibly comfortable night's sleep! The Yulong River rafting trip we booked wasn't far, and transportation was convenient. While the location is a little off the beaten path, it's much quieter than the guesthouse areas further out, which we really appreciated.

I can't praise this hotel enough! 1. The basics – room cleanliness, excellent service, stylish decor, and prime location – were all absolutely flawless. 2. Any issues were resolved promptly. For instance, when we mentioned a concern about some Alocasia plants, the hotel thoughtfully removed all of them by the very next day. 3. Fresh flowers were changed daily in the vases, and the floral arrangements were incredibly tasteful, with each display meticulously curated. 4. Both breakfast and afternoon tea were fresh and beautifully presented. They even offered lemon honey water to take away. 5. The service was truly outstanding. The young lady at the front desk was particularly gentle, patient, and incredibly attentive to every detail.

If you're visiting Yangshuo and looking for a guesthouse with distinctive charm, excellent service, a wide range of activities, and even authentic, delicious home-cooked meals, One Thousand and One Courtyard Dreams is absolutely the perfect choice! Their customized home-style banquets and handicraft activities, in particular, truly elevated our travel experience. I will definitely choose this place again on my next trip to Yangshuo!

This guesthouse absolutely deserves a glowing review! My stay was truly fantastic and completely exceeded my expectations. The custom DIY BBQ and plant printing activity organized by the guesthouse were definitely the highlights of my trip! The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, making us feel like family.

Truly an exceptional stay! I was pleasantly surprised to find that the horseback riding I'd been longing for was right at the guesthouse's doorstep! Impression Sanjie Liu, the Ten-Mile Gallery, and the pedestrian street are all conveniently close by. Most of Yangshuo's attractions are within easy reach. While it's a bit far from the high-speed rail station, you can take a bus to Yangshuo Bus Station, and the guesthouse offers a complimentary pick-up service. We visited with friends for a vacation, and I couldn't wait to recommend it to everyone when I got back! Even before our arrival in Yangshuo, the guesthouse proactively contacted us to confirm our arrival time and arranged a pick-up driver. Upon arrival, a welcome gift, afternoon tea, and a perfectly air-conditioned room awaited us, making for a truly comfortable and pleasant start. The staff even helped us with our luggage, which was incredibly thoughtful! Guests can feed the horses for free and get discounts on horseback riding. The lovely staff also thoughtfully recommended suitable car rental options and bamboo raft routes, which was incredibly helpful for us first-time visitors to Yangshuo! We also got to try kite flying and traditional rubbings, thanks to the incredibly attentive guesthouse staff. Service Quality: The service was exceptionally high-quality, friendly, and incredibly thoughtful. The facilities are excellent, including a swimming pool, refrigerator, living room, a bathroom with separate wet and dry areas, a portable makeup mirror, and even a washing machine with a drying function. Even the laundry detergent smelled wonderful – I'm definitely buying some! (Before we left for our bamboo raft trip, one of the staff members thoughtfully came out to ask if we wanted to take two bottles of water with us – my heart just melted! 🥰) It was a truly wonderful experience and created beautiful memories. I sincerely hope to visit again in the future!
