I booked a room with mountain view. What I got is this room on the second floor with view on the street and trees :( It didn't look like any of the rooms in the pictures shown on Trip.com. Not only was the view bad, it was often loud because of the Instagram café across the street. I also had zero privacy on the balcony as the hundreds of roadside tourists on their scooters frequently take pictures of the house and garden. Keep in mind that mass tourism has arrived in Yulong River area, so it is no longer quiet there. What I also didn't like is that the receptionist smoked under my balcony. It is true that the receptionists speak very good English. But then again, I was not even shown the rooftop terrace that they apparently have, nor was I told about breakfast options. They also have no WeChat contact, which is standard for other hotels. What really shocked is that they tried to charge me 30 RMB for one of their old bikes that I wanted to use in the afternoon for 2 hours. I couldn't believe my ears. As incredibly beautiful as the hotel is, and yes, my room was huge and I am thankful for the tip to visit beautiful Fuli bridge, I feel ripped off for paying so much for a room with no view. It is just not what I booked.

really enjoyed our stay at Tea Cozy. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The on site restaurant was tasty and prices are very good. We loved the scenery and pool too. Pool was kept clean. Being by the main road was not an issue at all. Good shower facilities and air con. Would recommend

The most beautiful hotel in the area outside Yangshou. We were upgraded to a very nice room. Cute little village. Very kind and helpful owner and people at hotel. They all speak English. Good food in the restaurant, nice pool with a view. Very helpful with suggesting excursions and bike paths away from the crowds.

Incredible hotel, we really enjoyed our stay. Super friendly staff that had a good level of English. They gave us cool recommendations and helped us arrange transportation. Beautiful bedrooms with confortable beds. The restaurant food was also delicious. We totally recommend!

After huge crowded chinese cities, reach this peaceful, isolated piece of ancient china you could dream. The hotel building is already looking ancient with ancient interior decoration but fitted with modern equipment. Room is spacious with a long balcony opening on the lotus garden surrounded by montains. Night silence only disturbed by a dreaming duck. Welcome as an old friend by people all dedicated at answering any question/request. Food compete with foreign and chinese standards, served with smile and attention. A rare enjoyable experience.

We had an Ely wonderful stay here. I Hank’s to the open fire, warm and accommodating welcome from everybody. The heated beds and free bikes were a godsend too as was the home cooked food and drinks.

This was my third stay at The Tea Cosy. It never disappoints. The room, service, food and location are all excellent. Hanna and Xiao He, who work there, are amazing and cannot do enough to help and look after you. Highly recommend it!

Our family enjoyed our time in Yangshuo, thanks in part to our experience in the Tea Cozy Hotel. The hotel was very clean and the service was friendly and helpful. The staff helped us to arrange activities each day, including the use of good quality bicycles to explore the surrounding area. The view from the rooms facing the pool is much better than those which are facing other buildings.

The hotel is lovely, located in one of the most characteristic areas. All the staff speaks English, is very kind and helpful. They helped us with the reservations and were very welcoming from the start. The room is very nice and clean. 100% recommended! Thanks for everything!

First of all, I seldom comment, let alone edit a lot of words, unless it really affects my mood. It is said that only by staying in a homestay can you experience the style of Yangshuo, Harbin. It took two hours from Xingping Town in traffic jam to get there. We arrived at night. First we went to the front desk. When we got there, the boss would make phone calls and reply to WeChat messages. He would slowly receive you after he was done with his work. It was very annoying to wait. Then for breakfast, basically the breakfast provided by the adults in the hotel was free for the little ones. I don't know how much a four or five-year-old child can eat. They charge extra for it, not because they are short of those tens of dollars. It's quite disgusting. Secondly, the room smelled musty and the wireless network was very poor. What made me think the boss was a rip-off was that I asked in the Ctrip group and the battery cars rented nearby were all 30 yuan. They said the market price here is 30 yuan. The boss said it would be 50 yuan. She said their service was better. I don't know what service they had. The location is opposite the one-foot rice field. You can use it as a reference.

The hotel is antique and the lady boss is very elegant. The swimming pool is not very clean. Although people come to drain water and collect leaves every day, it depends on the individual. The hotel is very quiet at night and it is very comfortable to sleep. It is far from Yulong River. It costs 13 yuan to take a taxi. In fact, you can choose a hotel close to the entrance of Yulong River. This time, I saw the swimming pool, bedding and kitchen of Zhongnan Hotel, which are all very relaxing. Another point is that it is relatively primitive and the key is used to open the door instead of the room card. There is no elevator. It is all wooden and very sensitive to fire.

My colleague has stayed in Yangshuo before and said it was nice. But I don't like the antique style! The hotel has been opened in the local area for some years. There is a restaurant where you can order dishes, a swimming pool and a lotus pond. Opposite is an acre of rice fields and a coffee shop. Yangshuo is beautiful, but one day is enough.

One of the nicest hotels I have ever been to. I particularly recommend the food that is freshly prepared here. The staff speak perfect English and will help you with any problem.
