Hotels in Huangguang/Dongguan Grand Mosque, Xining

The hotel is conveniently located between the Dongguan Grand Mosque and the Xiaoxin Street Night Market. There's a bus stop right outside, making it convenient to various popular attractions. However, there aren't many nearby dining options, unlike those in the Ximen and Limeng shopping districts. The room was nice, with a sink next to the bed and a separate wet and dry toilet. It was quite clean. The breakfast options were quite good, including the option to cook noodles, soy milk, and milk. Bread was also provided, but the lack of a toaster was a bit lacking. The service was good.

This hotel is spacious and spacious, and the service is very good. It is also next to the East Mosque Food Street, which is a Muslim community. There are many northwest snacks such as hand-caught mutton around. The location is also very good, and there is no pressure when shopping.

Because I needed to stay for one more day, the room rate on January 1 was cheaper than on December 31. I wanted to use the free breakfast benefit of Ctrip membership, but for some reason the free breakfast was not shown after I placed the order. I didn't pay attention to it because I placed the order in a hurry. After moving to the 4th floor, the bathroom was much better than the one on the 2nd floor, with no more problems with air leakage and shower. The next morning when I went to the restaurant for breakfast, I realized that I didn't bring breakfast, but I still tried to call the front desk to ask if I could have breakfast delivered. The breakfast was a simple one with hot beef noodle soup, some side dishes and porridge, etc. It didn't have a lot of varieties and the price was not very expensive. Moreover, there were only 5-6 people eating breakfast in the breakfast room on the morning of the 2nd. But the front desk refused indifferently. Generally speaking, it is not easy to maintain the facilities of an old hotel, but the service really discouraged me from staying there again.

Good hotel, very modern and clean. The room was spacious and comfortable. Staff were extremely helpful. For the price it's great. However, we couldn't enjoy the breakfast much as it starts at 7:30, which is already fairly late for a hotel, and by 7:40 not even half of the breakfast was prepared and we had to leave, would have liked to try it especially considering it was included in the room and what we ate of it was fairly tasty. The curtain behind the bathtub doesnt sit in line with the wall so there is a bright light throughout the night from outside. The hotel was a bit difficult to find especially finding the Correct parking area for the building. The elevators are shared elevators and took over 10 minutes to go up to the 25th floor . And took 5 minutes of waiting to go down one floor to the reception, before we decided to take the stairs(which are very dirty) Apart from the above the hotel was very good and comfortable, clothes washing facilities were clean, coffee in the reception, and a cool fish tank along with very friendly helpful staff.

I was very impressed with the hotel I stayed in this time. The service staff was very friendly, helped with the luggage, and introduced the surrounding attractions. The room was clean and tidy without any flaws. The food tastes great, the steamed buns and flower rolls for breakfast are very fresh, and the hotel parking is very convenient. I will choose this hotel again in the future!

The rest of the hotel is OK, but there is one biggest bug. The toilet has no door, and is blocked by a curtain. The toilet is facing the door. The layout is really unreasonable. Fortunately, my family and I live in the same room. If two strangers live in the same room, it will be very awkward. The first reason to choose this place is that it is close to the city center and Mojia Street. It is also convenient to take a taxi. There is also air conditioning in the room. I didn’t know that many hotels don’t install air conditioning until I came to Xining. But you should at least install a sliding door in the toilet, otherwise I really feel that there is no personal privacy. I hope the hotel can improve it!

Nice room with view from neighborhood. It's 30min walk from downtown but there are plenty of restaurants and markets nearby. I was the only guest during the 4 nights I was there, so not much of an atmosphere despite the nice social areas. The heating system (underfloor) works only in the night so it's a bit chill during the day. There are hot showers and possibly of doing laundry (10yuan a load).

The room was clean and tidy, the service of this hotel was warm and thoughtful, the staff was professional and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable and the facilities were modern. The breakfast is rich in variety to meet the needs of different tastes, the surrounding transportation is convenient, shopping and sightseeing are very convenient. The bedding is soft, the sound insulation effect is good, and people have high quality sleep.

I stayed at three IU hotels during my trip to Northwest China, the other two being in Golmud and Dunhuang. Overall, the Xining hotel was worse than the other two. First, the showerhead and water pipe connection leaked. The hair dryer wasn't as good as the other two hotels. After drying my hair for a minute and stopping to comb it, it overheated and wouldn't start again. Even my half-dry hair wouldn't start until it dried naturally. The road next to the hotel was under construction, so I couldn't park in the original parking lot. I had to call the hotel security to take me there, and then I could find it. It was a bit far to get my luggage from the parking lot to the hotel, which was inconvenient. The road construction started around 7 a.m., and the noise kept me awake.
