I stayed for one night and had a wonderful experience. The citrus scent in the lobby was fresh and pleasant, and the room was clean and cozy, with a comfortable blend of orange and wood tones. The bedding was just the right firmness, and the toiletries had a lovely sweet orange scent. The front desk staff were very welcoming and even gave me tangerine candy. The free minibar with soft drinks was a thoughtful touch. I'll definitely choose Orange Hotel again next time!

The staff at this hostel is very kind hearted and welcoming — we even received a free room upgrade, which was such a lovely surprise! The interior is cozy and the location is also great, with a nearby bus stop, multiple restaurants and a supermarket.

I had a truly great stay here, largely thanks to the incredible staff. The hotel is located in a fantastic spot - very close to the Dongguan Grand Mosque and Xia Nanguan Street, which is perfect for food shopping and enjoying nighttime street food. The design of the hotel has a nice vintage charm to it—nothing overly flashy, but it's very clean and comfortable, and I had no complaints at all. They also offer private parking, which is really convenient if you're renting a car. What really made my stay special was the service. The staff went above and beyond for me. I was struggling with bad altitude sickness, and without me even saying a word, the front desk team noticed how I was feeling and kindly sent medicine, yogurt, and an oxygen canister to my room. That kind of care means so much. Later that night, my room was a bit too warm, and even though it was late, the night staff happily helped me switch rooms. I’m so grateful. A special thank you to Ms. Ma Ping for all her help and kindness. This stay exceeded my expectations. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was soft and comfortable – I slept like a log! The front desk service was warm and attentive; check-in, check-out, and getting an invoice were all quick and efficient. The location is super convenient, with the Daxinjie Night Market and Xiaguanguan Street nearby, offering plenty of delicious local food. There's also a fantastic hand-grabbed lamb restaurant not far from the hotel, which the front desk recommended, and it was really good. It was cloudy during my stay, but thankfully the room had air conditioning. This is one of the few hotels in Xining with independent AC. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next loop trip.

The hotel service was impeccable, with great attention to detail. This included the way glasses were carefully handed and held, the thoughtful recommendations, the staff’s soft and calm tone of voice, the complimentary homemade and delicious yogurt offered every afternoon, and the genuine effort to overcome the language barrier. As an opportunity for improvement, I would suggest offering more low-fat or fat-free options at breakfast and in the restaurant. Easy to find and super convenient location with great transport links! The area has so much character and plenty of food options. The front desk staff, especially the lady who checked me in, was incredibly warm and efficient. She had such a great attitude! The room was clean and hygienic, with a really cozy atmosphere. The bedding was comfortable, and all the toiletries were provided. Excellent value for money! This will definitely be my go-to place for future trips. A good night's rest here truly made my whole trip more enjoyable and happy!

My stay at Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel in Xining completely exceeded my expectations. Every moment, from check-in to check-out, was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. I absolutely have to sing its praises! First off, the service was exceptionally warm and attentive, making the entire experience fantastic. As soon as I arrived, a doorman proactively helped me with my luggage and directed me to the Sky Lobby on the 21st floor. Check-in was super efficient, and they even thoughtfully recognized my member status and upgraded my room for free, along with complimentary fresh welcome fruit. The 24-hour front desk was always responsive to my needs; whether I needed directions or extra items, they were quick to assist. The staff were friendly and professional in every detail, adding a touch of warmth to my trip. Secondly, the facilities were comprehensive and high-end, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The design of the Sky Lobby was simply stunning, blending Chinese style with panoramic views. In the evening, I even caught a breathtaking sunset – perfect for photos! My room was spacious and bright, with a well-designed layout covering over 50 square meters. It featured a soft sofa, a large desk, and even a humidifier to combat the dry climate in the Northwest, which was a very thoughtful touch. The guest rooms were fully intelligent, with features like sensor lighting and electric blackout curtains adding a futuristic feel. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a bathtub, and the toiletries were high-quality. The King Koil mattress provided an amazing sleep experience. The hotel also boasts a free gym, a table tennis room, a book bar, and a tea room – perfect for either exercise and relaxation or quiet reading. The amenities truly cater to various needs. What truly surprised me was the breakfast – it was abundant and unique. Served at the buffet restaurant on the 5th floor, it covered everything from Chinese and Western to Halal cuisine, with an incredibly wide variety. There was freshly prepared Lanzhou beef noodles, authentic Halal 'Sazi Mahua' (fried dough twists), and other local specialties, along with hot dishes, cold dishes, congee, bread, seasonal fruits, and excellent freshly ground coffee and squeezed juices. I particularly recommend the hotel's yogurt; its rich and creamy texture was delicious with grains or fruit. The dining area was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating, so there was no need to wait in line – a perfect start to an energetic day. Additionally, the hotel's location is superb. It's right next to Xining Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Within a 1-kilometer radius, there's a night market, large shopping malls, and the distinctive Mojia Street pedestrian area. It's also close to the Dongguan Great Mosque and the Huangshui River, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The free public parking also eased any concerns for those traveling by car. It offers incredible value for money. In summary, Xining Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel excelled in every aspect, including service, facilities, and dining. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining and highly recommend it to everyone!

A big shout-out to the front desk staff – their warmth was evident from the moment I walked in. Check-in was efficient, and they patiently recommended local attractions. The overall environment was incredibly clean and tidy; both the hallways and rooms were spotless. This ensured a high-quality night's sleep. The parking lot was huge with plenty of spaces, and access was very convenient, so I never had to worry about finding a spot. This amenity was a thoughtful touch. The laundry room had new equipment, including dryers, and the breakfast spread was extensive, featuring local specialties. The ingredients were fresh and constantly replenished, making for a very satisfying meal.

We had a great time in Xining. It was so clean. The people were friendly, the food was great - favorite dish was big chunks of beef with potatoes and thick noodles, yum! The night market near our hotel was fun nestled amongst the more expensive shops. It was really cold tho, like -17. The wildlife park had a lot to see. Yes, to Xining!

Three families came to the Qinghai-Gansu Grand Loop and chose this hotel near Mojia Street. The hygiene was very good, especially the quilt cover and sheets were very clean. The bed was soft and hard. The price was affordable. The room was large. The front desk was very responsive. I give it a big thumbs up 👍🏻. All relatives and friends at home praised it. It is cost-effective.
