I had a good experience in this hotel. It was previously booked by my tour and we extended our stay as our train to Lhasa was at 11pm. The staff were courteous and frequently checked in with us to check if everything is satisfactory. I was impressed by staff Jinjin (津津) as she noted that we were headed to the railway station and arranged a complimentary transfer for my family. Overall, I had a great stay and would recommend this hotel to friends and family visiting Xining in future.

We stayed another 2 nights during the May holidays. Surprisingly, Xining wasn't crowded except for the People's Park where plenty of tulips were in bloom. It was raining on 1 May, so we stayed in hotel. Hotel though old, was clean with standard amenities. Bathroom has a bath with shower curtains. No hooks for clothes in toilet/bathroom. Laundry room only has 1 washer, no dryer. We didn't use. Price was cheap. Breakfast was a bowl of mee, some veg and an egg at restaurant next door. We were given breakfast vouchers.

I had a truly great stay here, largely thanks to the incredible staff. The hotel is located in a fantastic spot - very close to the Dongguan Grand Mosque and Xia Nanguan Street, which is perfect for food shopping and enjoying nighttime street food. The design of the hotel has a nice vintage charm to it—nothing overly flashy, but it's very clean and comfortable, and I had no complaints at all. They also offer private parking, which is really convenient if you're renting a car. What really made my stay special was the service. The staff went above and beyond for me. I was struggling with bad altitude sickness, and without me even saying a word, the front desk team noticed how I was feeling and kindly sent medicine, yogurt, and an oxygen canister to my room. That kind of care means so much. Later that night, my room was a bit too warm, and even though it was late, the night staff happily helped me switch rooms. I’m so grateful. A special thank you to Ms. Ma Ping for all her help and kindness. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Xining—you'll be in good hands here. 我在这家酒店住得非常愉快，最主要的原因是这里的服务人员实在太棒了。酒店的位置很好，离东关大清真寺和下南关街都很近，那边非常适合买吃的，晚上也有热闹的街头小吃。酒店的设计带点复古的怀旧风格，不是那种很浮夸的类型，但非常干净舒适，我完全没有任何不满意的地方。酒店还有自己的私人停车场，对于自驾的客人来说非常方便。真正让这次住宿变得特别的是他们的服务。我当时高原反应挺严重的，结果完全不用我开口，前台的工作人员看到我的状况后，主动送来了药、酸奶和一瓶氧气到我的房间。这种细心和关怀真的让人很感动。晚上我的房间有点太暖，尽管已经很晚了，夜班的工作人员还是很乐意帮我换了房间，我真的很感激。特别感谢马平女士对我所有的帮助。我一定会把这家酒店推荐给要来西宁的旅客 - 你们在这里一定会被好好照顾的。

This hotel experience was fantastic! The location is great, not far from the train station, and close to attractions and food streets, making getting around super convenient. The room was very clean, and the bedding was soft and comfortable, ensuring a great night's sleep. The bathroom was clean and odor-free, and the toiletries were of good quality. The front desk staff were very friendly and checked us in quickly. All the hotel staff were warm and attentive, answering all our questions and even proactively helping us plan our itinerary. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting!

The location is very near the train and bus station. The standard room is big enough. The staffs are helpful. Breakfast is good. A nice auntie server is nice and attentive. We are able to use the microwave to heat food we buy. There is free tea at the reception. The morning market is a must visit which is walkable. Must ask along the way as is behind housing estate, not visible along the road.

My stay at Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel in Xining completely exceeded my expectations. Every moment, from check-in to check-out, was incredibly comfortable and pleasant. I absolutely have to sing its praises! First off, the service was exceptionally warm and attentive, making the entire experience fantastic. As soon as I arrived, a doorman proactively helped me with my luggage and directed me to the Sky Lobby on the 21st floor. Check-in was super efficient, and they even thoughtfully recognized my member status and upgraded my room for free, along with complimentary fresh welcome fruit. The 24-hour front desk was always responsive to my needs; whether I needed directions or extra items, they were quick to assist. The staff were friendly and professional in every detail, adding a touch of warmth to my trip. Secondly, the facilities were comprehensive and high-end, ensuring a very comfortable stay. The design of the Sky Lobby was simply stunning, blending Chinese style with panoramic views. In the evening, I even caught a breathtaking sunset – perfect for photos! My room was spacious and bright, with a well-designed layout covering over 50 square meters. It featured a soft sofa, a large desk, and even a humidifier to combat the dry climate in the Northwest, which was a very thoughtful touch. The guest rooms were fully intelligent, with features like sensor lighting and electric blackout curtains adding a futuristic feel. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and a bathtub, and the toiletries were high-quality. The King Koil mattress provided an amazing sleep experience. The hotel also boasts a free gym, a table tennis room, a book bar, and a tea room – perfect for either exercise and relaxation or quiet reading. The amenities truly cater to various needs. What truly surprised me was the breakfast – it was abundant and unique. Served at the buffet restaurant on the 5th floor, it covered everything from Chinese and Western to Halal cuisine, with an incredibly wide variety. There was freshly prepared Lanzhou beef noodles, authentic Halal 'Sazi Mahua' (fried dough twists), and other local specialties, along with hot dishes, cold dishes, congee, bread, seasonal fruits, and excellent freshly ground coffee and squeezed juices. I particularly recommend the hotel's yogurt; its rich and creamy texture was delicious with grains or fruit. The dining area was spacious and clean, with plenty of seating, so there was no need to wait in line – a perfect start to an energetic day. Additionally, the hotel's location is superb. It's right next to Xining Railway Station, just a few minutes' walk away. Within a 1-kilometer radius, there's a night market, large shopping malls, and the distinctive Mojia Street pedestrian area. It's also close to the Dongguan Great Mosque and the Huangshui River, making it incredibly convenient for getting around and finding food. The free public parking also eased any concerns for those traveling by car. It offers incredible value for money. In summary, Xining Qinghai Kaiyuan Grand Hotel excelled in every aspect, including service, facilities, and dining. It's perfectly suited for both business trips and leisure travel. I will definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Xining and highly recommend it to everyone!

The room was very clean. The staff was very good. They helped us upgrade the room type for free. They also sent a lot of things. It happened to be the last day of the Great Northwest. It was also the best night to sleep.

I had a wonderful experience staying at this hotel. The location is absolutely perfect—it is very close to the station and situated right on the main road, making it extremely easy to find and reach. The hotel itself is incredibly clean, well-maintained, and beautiful. The best part is the convenience. Everything you need is just a few steps away—there are supermarkets, great restaurants, and local markets right around the hotel. Taxis and local transport are readily available just outside the property, making traveling around Siliguri completely hassle-free. From cleanliness to connectivity, this hotel is top-notch. Highly recommended for everyone visiting Xining

Pretty good, stayed for a week, and the top floor was genuinely quiet. It's located in a small alley, but there are two malls very close by. The hotel's charging station is also the cheapest around, and there's a gas station just one intersection away. So, convenience is definitely a huge plus. On top of that, the service was excellent. Although the gym equipment isn't as comprehensive as what you'd typically find in a basic Hilton, it's still sufficient for a good workout. The breakfast variety was decent. Overall, I'm very satisfied.
