Pai Hotel (Xining Railway Station) Reviews

The reception was nice and the amenties really good considering the price. Tho hotel overall was perfect for anybody looking for quick connection to the station and there are many ******* restaurant around . On the other hand , a bit far from the center of xining which are around 15 minutes away by car.

The room was clean and breakfast generous. The slow lift was a major headache, however, and so were the dirty hallways.

Literally minutes away from the railway station and the main bus terminal. Room is spacious with lots of storage space. Hot shower works well. Wifi is average speed at around 10mbps (slower when using VPN). Plenty of eateries nearby. Buffet breakfast was ok and filling with decent choices. Only issues are the elevators being super slow and found some hairs in the room (cleanliness issue).

Overal a great value. It's nice that breakfast is included for this price but it could be better, the coffee was cold every morning. My room had a smoke smell unfortunately, last time it didn't, so best to ask for a smoke free room.

The hotel offered everything I needed, to continue my flight next day to Dunhuang (the day before I came by plane from Yushu). It is close to the bus station next to the railway station which is the starting point of the airport bus, which both ways only needed about 30 minutes. I didn't book breakfast because I had to leave the hotel before 7:00 a.m. To catch the airport bus at 7:30.

very near the train station , the room is not that clean or nice, the biggest problem is that you have to stay in line literally for 15' just to take the elevator , which means that you need 20-30 minutes just to go out and come back. I ended up taking the stairs to go to the 17th floor. They have AC which is good. If it's around 200 RMB it's worth it.

We stayed in Pai Hotel for 1 night in a queen bed room. The room was bigger than expected and comfortable. We had a non-AC room, but that wasn't an issue at all, since the nights were cool. Only downside was that the room was not super clean. There were crumbs and stains on the furniture and floor. Would be nice if they could improve this. The location is 15 minutes walk from the train station, which was very convenient. There are many shops and restaurants nearby.

A hotel with a decent location and good amenities for travelers who want to relax after a long day of exploring Xining. The reception staff was welcoming and helpful, even though there was a language barrier. Definitely a must-stay hotel in the city!

It was such a lovely few days staying in Xining. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The food was delicious. The people were so kinda to me and so helpful. They were very patient and happy to communicate with a translator app. I haven’t always been met with kindness and patience at hotels in China. So it felt really amazing.

Actually very good for the price. Room was spacious and well maintained. The elevators were incredibly slow though, and you need to leave an extra 10-15 minutes before you need to get somewhere
