The hotel is conveniently located within the city walls, making it suitable for exploring Xi’an. While it’s not situated in the liveliest area—which some might see as a pro and others as a con—it’s only a 15-minute walk to the South Gate, a major landmark. At the South Gate, you can purchase a ticket for 54 RMB to access the city wall, where you can walk or cycle (bikes can be rented for 45 RMB for 3 hours). Bars along the wall open after 7 PM, adding to the experience. The hotel offers a Chinese breakfast, which is edible but sometimes served cold. The rooms provide a view, though not of the most interesting parts of the city. Convenience stores are located nearby. The bed is comfortable, but room cleanliness could be improved, as there’s visible fluff floating in the air. The room is spacious and cozy but dimly lit due to the lack of central lighting. The small bathtub is only suitable for sitting, and there’s a large gap between the bathroom door and the shower glass wall, which compromises privacy. The airport shuttle service is convenient but may take longer if multiple stops are required to pick up guests from other hotels. It’s advisable not to book a Terracotta Army tour through the hotel. Instead, call a Didi to the site and pay 80–100 RMB per person for a guide.

Love this hotel, clean and friendly staffs. You can book tours directly from the hotel lobby and very near muslim quarters only like 10 mins walk.

The Good hotel, clam and quiet, Good food and a lot of food. And the good washing machine (Free). Staffs are service mind .

It has been a great experience at the hotel. So close to cultural AND party Places, so kidness with us. Really good beds to rest and relax. Really good breakfast. So, it's get my five.

This has been our favourite hotel so far on our multi-week trip across China. It is amazing value for money. The breakfast buffet was extensive. It was a nice savings to have coffee available in the morning. They have a large children’s play room, roof top garden and communal laundry room. The hotel is conveniently located. It’s close to the subway, which made it easy to get to-and-from the hotel. It’s also close to Muslim street and other food street, so there were plenty of options! It was pretty clean. There was daily housekeeping, which included changing towels and replenishing disposables. They were inconsistent with replacing bedding, which was was not an issue, but it seemed odd. There were laundry facilities and breakfast, which was greatly appreciated! A few nitpicking details: The ad states that front desk spoke English. There was one person that spoke a bit of English to me, but most of time, I had to use a translator on my phone. There weren’t any issues, but it was not as fluid as some other places that listed English. On Trip.com, it said we were eligible for a free room upgrade, which I believe we received. (It’s hard to tell from the photos.) It also said we were eligible for a free airport pick-up. They did not list railway station pick-ups at all, so I asked if they treated them the same. Unfortunately, the offer did not extend to the railway station, although they do offer railway station pick-ups for a price.

I had an extremely pleasant stay at the Philin Hotel in Xi'an. The hotel boasts an elegant environment, complete facilities, and top-notch service. I must especially mention the front desk concierge, Liu Chao, whose warmth and friendliness left a lasting impression on me. I will definitely choose this hotel again the next time I'm in Xi'an. Highly recommended!

Our stay at Feeling Hotel was disappointing. The room was not clean, and despite asking the staff to return in 15 minutes to allow us to vacate the room, they entered anyway. Additionally, we ordered some local biscuits through a tour bus arranged by the hotel’s reception, but when it came time to pick them up, we were simply told to find them ourselves. The overall experience was quite unprofessional, and the service left much to be desired. I would not recommend this hotel based on our experience.

The hotel rooms are nicely decorated, the breakfast was very various and big. The receptionists are nice and helpful! Only the AC was not working in the room.

Nice hotel. No english is spoken. The bathroom was not very clean unfortunately. The bed was very nice and soft. The western breakfast was limited.

A very good hotel in a good location. It isn’t a fancy hotel or anything, but it’s great if you don’t plan to stay in your room for too long- a great value for its price. Staff was helpful (they didn’t speak English but used translation apps to communicate.)

We had a pleasant holiday in this hotel. The environment is very quiet and comfortable and it's very close to the attractions. The dining in the hotel is also very good. I especially recommend their breakfast, which is very delicious. In particular, the front desk Xiao Qizi is very good. They have provided me with thoughtful help and meticulous service, store luggage and introduce nearby hotels. The service is excellent, very good.
