Óptima localização, funcionários simpáticos e prestáveis. Pequeno-almoço variado. Apenas 2 reparos: ar condicionado não possui controle remoto e deixou de funcionar na segunda noite e a imagem da TV falha imenso.

I had a enjoyable time staying at Hotel Fundador on my first visit to Guimaraes. On my last day, the hotel welcome in, what looked like two full football teams (average age 14), and which sounded like a stadium of fans. Nonetheless, my room was quiet and comfortable. The room was spacious with good A/C. Good shower / bathroom facilities. The location is great if you are coming in by train. It is close to lots of great restaurants, both home-cooking and wine/snack bars. Located on the top of a hill, you get a great view as you descend into the downtown area. Guimaraes is really beautiful place, and I look forward to returning there again soon.

The hotel is really clean. Rooms are very big and it is also great location near the city centre and shopping mall. There is also grocery near. Only minus is very small breakfast. The hotel has modern rooms. Overall it is really worth the price. I recommend.

Excellent value. Good hotel close to the city center. Staff is very accommodating . Although an older building the rooms are very nice, decent sized. breakfast was limited but filling. Enough options to get your day started. Great views from the breakfast room. I would stay again in a nanosecond. :-)

We arrived by train and it was a short 1 block to the hotel. The hotel is a bit older but well maintained with extremely friendly staff. I didn't have a power converted for our cell phones and Filipe loa

A hotel five minutes from the center with good facilities and spectacular views. Free parking and direct access to the rooms. The exterior doesn't do it justice. Very friendly staff. Spacious and comfortable room. Correct breakfast Highly recommended!!

Well situated in the birthplace of the city, excellent hotel for an overnight stay or even a few days. Very modern, well equipped and clean facilities. Good breakfast, with a fantastic view over the city in the panoramic bar located on the 12th floor. I recommend this space.

Friendliness and availability of staff are spectacular. Good breakfast. Room with dimensions and comfort above average for a 3-star hotel. Bathroom of considerable size. Shower with great pressure. Good location, with garage.
