It was a truly unique experience. A 400+ year old merchant house turned into an inn, in the middle of a small village. Clean room, comfortable beds, simple Chinese breakfast. Pick-up service was convenient. The hotel staff were kind and accomodating. Highly recommended.

Very beautiful hotel located in a lovely town!

This is truly an excellent boutique hotel. The Manager and her team of ladies see to every details A simple breakfast is provided, suffice for the village vibe! Nestled in a 800 year old village, some days there are too many local tourist bustling around If only Miss Xu (the manager) would explain a bit of hotel background and its history (translated to English), that would be perfect!

the hotel was great, nice atmosphere, architecturally quaint, comfortable and clean. the little village it is in is very quiet, takes about 2hours to walk around and see the whole thing. everything is closed by 9.

We arrived at Sixiyan Village on the last day of this tour. After we went down the Wolong Valley, it started to rain, so we contacted the store in advance. The store picked us up at the parking lot at the entrance of the village and brought us an umbrella. When we arrived at the hotel, the original room was on the fourth floor. The store saw that our suitcases were relatively large, so they upgraded us to a room on the second floor for free. They also helped to bring the suitcases upstairs, which was very considerate. After getting caught in the rain, I took a hot bath and listened to the sound of rain outside the window, and I relaxed instantly. The breakfast was also delicious, and everyone in the B&B was very friendly~ It was a perfect end to our trip.

I took advantage of the May Day holiday to visit and chose Sixi Village. If you don't want to go to the crowded Huangling, you can choose to come here. This time when I came to Wuyuan, I chose the northern route with beautiful scenery and few people. Although there are no rape flowers now, the weather is good. There is morning fog when I get up early, and I can watch the sunset in the evening. At night, there are stars in the sky. Sixi is really suitable for relaxing. It is a very good experience.
