Hotels in Taihu Lake Scenic Area/Wuxi rongchuang paradise/Ji, Wuxi

That was the second time I had stayed at this hotel purely due to its magnificence. I booked a deluxe room and it was perfectly furnished with wood that gave it a scent of retro style unlike many modern and hi-tech hotels. And the lobby of the hotel is another thing worth coming for, it is a pure pleasure and lustre, everything is made down to the smallest detail. The only thing that I was disappointed in was a lack of decent sauna and hammam. There was a sauna but it was tiny - just around 1 by 1 square meters and you had to turn it on and wait for it to warm up, and the hammam, which was just as tiny, didn't work at all. The swimming pool was normal, but there was no jacuzzi section (there was a small separate pool that was supposed to be with warm water, but in fact it was quite cool. Other than that, the breakfast food range was excellent (although not much Western food). I would definitely recommend this hotel for a one or two day stay.

We loved the look and location of the hotel and the views of here breathtaking, the only negative comment I have is that it did not have air con, have never been in a 5 star hotel without aircon and it was so hot during the night. Otherwise I can not stop praising this hotel and recommend it to anyone that want to be close to a good mall the subway and the park.

This time I stayed at Changguangxi Hotel for 4 nights. We stayed on the 30th night. During the National Day holiday, Changguangxi Hotel insisted on basically not increasing the price. My standard room price has more than 350 yuan with double breakfast. The hotel was decorated according to the standards of a four-star hotel more than 10 years ago. The hotel environment is very good, across the road is Changguangxi National Wetland Park, it is a quiet place during the holidays, it is worth a visit, we also used a ** group for a 218 lunch at Shuiyue Villa in the park, plus 2 58 yuan / drunk crab, This is the most delicious meal we have eaten in Wuxi for five days. But there was also a horrible thing in the hotel. We lived on the 5th floor. On the morning of the 1st, we got up and saw a cockroach that was more than 1 foot in the bathroom. After stepping on it, we would move. I don’t know if I had climbed people at night. It’s very scary. After coming down and telling the reception desk, we immediately changed the room on the 3rd floor. In the room, the duty manager explained that the hotel environment is located in the wetland park, there are more insects, just killed some time ago, the room on the 5th floor is usually not used,..., this experience is the previous hotel has never experienced, it makes a bad mood, the next 2 days live on the 3rd floor, I am worried that there will be cockroaches?

The hotel is a mini ancient town, close to Shangxian River Wetland Park. The small bridge and flowing water are very beautiful, and the hotel courtyard is also carefully designed. Because it was my birthday, the hotel arranged the best location for me. The central garden is right outside the gate. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, clean and sanitary, and each area is large. A lot of drinks, fruits, and health drinks are delivered every day. The housekeeper Feng Yukai is serious and responsible, humble and polite, and tries his best to meet the various needs of the guests. It is about half an hour's drive from various attractions, and you can call a car in a few minutes on foot. The porter is also very good and helps carry the boxes in and out of the hotel. The breakfast is Chinese style, and it would be better if the variety was richer. I will choose this hotel again when I come to Wuxi in the future!

The hotel environment is particularly good, with a Jiangnan-style courtyard. When you open the window, you can see the artistic conception of small bridges, flowing water and people's homes. You can take pictures anywhere and they will turn out well. The service is in place, the shuttle bus picks up and drops off on time, the breakfast is rich, and the toiletries are all from L'Occitane. The only thing is that the hygiene can be improved. There is still dust under the big bed and in some dead corners in the hotel. I will stay here again next time I come to Wuxi, and I will also recommend it to my friends.

The hotel's facilities, environment and design all suit my preferences; but the deepest impression this hotel left on me was that every person we came into contact with was very friendly and down-to-earth, and every request was responded to; staying here felt like home. We spent more than twenty days here in total, and our whole family started to miss this place! oh! As a Wuxi native, the breakfast here has a very rich Wuxi-style dishes ❤️ Facilities: It can be said to be very new, but it does not have the smell of a new hotel and the facilities are not set up just for the sake of appearance. The lighting in every part of the hotel is very exquisite and comfortable; it is almost all the non-blazing yellow light that I like. The only downside is that there is no independent small centralized light source at the bedside in the room, which is a bit inconvenient and I can't read at night🤷🏻♀️ Hygiene: Toilets, bathrooms and sinks are all kept very clean. Service: Let me say it again, they have the enthusiasm and thoughtfulness that low-star hotels don’t have; they also have the intimacy and practicality that high-star hotels don’t have. I think it's perfect! What impressed me most: I loved their library so much; I finished reading two books while staying in the hotel; I have never read a book so spontaneously and efficiently in my life! The only pity is that there are no suites. If there are suites, I will definitely stay here next time! Breakfast is my very satisfied point: not a uniform buffet, but a seasonal set meal. This time I tasted handmade leeks, freshly baked plum dried vegetable biscuits, and a 4-hour soup. The ingredients are mostly from local farmers and I can eat it with my heart. Hotel design style: ancient and modern aesthetic space Step into the lobby, the log color and warm yellow lighting intertwined a warm atmosphere, the wall ink paintings, bookshelves on the ancient books, tea mat on the celadon tea set, everywhere revealed the ingenuity of Oriental aesthetics. The rooms are themed with ”Zen”, simple but detailed: rattan-edged lamps, handwritten calligraphy foil, plain linen bedding, people relax instantly. I love the tatami tea table by the window, soak in a pot of osmanthus oolong presented by the hotel, and watch the bamboo shadow swaying outside the window.

It is very convenient to stay here when visiting Sunac Park. In addition to several major parks, there is also Sunac Mall nearby, which makes eating and shopping very convenient. The lake view family room I booked has two spacious beds. The hotel service is good. Thanks to the housekeeper Zhixia for her meticulous service during my stay. I will come again next time if I have the chance!

We only booked 1 night to explore the city. Upon arrival the reception told us we have to go do a PCR test (although we had a valid 24hr test when checking in). We went from one testing site to another, nowhere could they help us because we weren’t registered living in Wuxi. Then they told us we don’t need a test because we are leaving again the next day. We spent our whole day looking for a PCR testing site - didn’t get to do anything else. Rooms were good, just extremely hot. Even when you turn the airconditioner on, the room was about 26 degrees the whole time.

Awesome hotel, great value for money!!! Free coffee, candy and biscuits are provided in the lobby. I booked a room without windows, and the front desk took the initiative to upgrade me to a room with windows for free. The service is really warm! There are also free snacks and cola in the room, which is super considerate. In the morning, when I sit on the sofa in the lobby to rest, the lady will pour tea or bring mineral water, which is really a plus 😁 The nearby Xianyun Street Bafanghui Coast City is simply a paradise for foodies! A one-stop service for eating, drinking and having fun, great!
