After looking at several hotels downtown, I ultimately chose Ascott, and true to their reliable brand, I felt right at home. The location is excellent, close to the subway and shopping areas. The hotel environment is comfortable and the transportation is convenient. Opposite are large shopping malls such as Hang Lung, Suning, and Grand Ocean. I stayed at the Citadines Yunfu Wuxi for two nights to see the seagulls. The location is excellent, right in the heart of Wuxi's main commercial districts. Shopping and dining are all within a 10-minute walk. Booked this hotel for a friend's wedding. It's right in the city center, which makes getting around super easy. Lots of malls nearby, so finding food is never an issue. In the evenings, it was great to stroll around Chong'an Temple and grab some snacks. Definitely a good choice!

The room layout is quite good, and I was surprised to find an ice machine in the lobby on the first floor. Although it's an older renovation, 55 square meters for the price is fantastic value for money. It's perfect for a trip to Wuxi, especially since all the must-see attractions are nearby and not far away. You can even request a late check-out at the front desk. The only downside is that the hotel opened quite early and doesn't have electric toilets, which feels a bit out of sync with the otherwise luxurious decor.
