Hotel a bit old but great location. Just 200 meters away from Wengen Station. Coop supermarket about 150m from the hotel.

The location is great and just by Wengen station. The staff are all friendly and stored our luggage. The hotel and room however are very dated. Our room had damp carpet and a horrible damp smell. We told reception but nothing could be done about this. There were also stains across the room e..g on the lamp cloth, and in the bathroom. The room was in need of a good clean and upgrade. Breakfast was below average for a 4* hotel with very limited choice also. There is a spa but only open 4-8.30pm so did not get a chance to use For the price paid the hotel does not meet expectations overall.

The only highlight of this hotel is the scenic views from certain rooms. Besides that, every other aspect seems to be lacking. The hotel looks very old, not only exterior but also the interior and facilities. Old room furniture, squeaky floor, non-functioning heater, old toilet design (water splashing everywhere) etc. There’s no functioning heater inside every room (we were told the heater is a central heater so guests have no control) and it was freezing. Location wise, it’s near the train station. However, this hotel is situated uphill. So for those with heavy luggage, my advice is to train hard before you come. Breakfast was disappointing as the food selection is rather limited. However, I would like to give compliments to a waitress named Stacy/Tracy (forgot her name). She was the only friendly and attentive service personnel on the ground. Other staff were all meh. Initially, I actually thought this is a 3-star hotel and was surprised to learn afterwards that it’s a 4-star hotel, instead. The hefty price that we paid really only went fully to the view from our room. That’s all. If you ask me will I still come back to stay again next time? I probably will not. The high price tag doesn’t justify all the lacking aspects unless they fix / improve on those mentioned.

Warm welcome from the reception desk lady. Super nice view from the hotel. I would come back if I choose to visit Wengen again. It took only 5min walk from the hotel to the train station and the cable car to go to the Mannlichen walking route.

Great little room for traveling alone. Fantastic view outside the balcony. Close to train station and shops.

Good location , close to the station at Wengen and shops and has nice views from hotel . Breakfast and service at the breakfast was average at best. Has the old charm given it was built 1894 which was nice , room was decent but could use a bit of a refresh.

Short walk from the train station, you can ask for a shuttle to help with luggage. You are getting one of the best views in Wengen and love the buffet breakfast. Service was excellent.

The view from the location is great, the location itself is convenient, and the staff is friendly and helpful.

The hotel is very old. Need to bring my heavy luggage hotel via long steep road . The dog is so cute.

Please don’t select this hotel as this very expensive and no service and no breakfast service is very poor you cannot enjoy instead better stay in Interlaken with 50% price with best service good breakfast and hotel balcony chairs will spoil the dress

1. The single room has an independent bathroom and an open-air balcony on the second floor. 2. The location is about two hours away from the top of the Jungfrau by train. It is suitable for tourists with average physical strength who want to climb a section of the mountain by themselves, and those who start from here and return here to rest. 3. The environment is beautiful and the sound insulation is good. The room is warm and you can see the magnificence of the Alps by opening the French window. 4. It is very close to Wengen Railway Station, about 200 meters! After getting off the train, walk uphill in the direction of the mountain. The breakfast is not rich but it is not bad. 5. I saw the ancient hair dryer they mentioned. If you wash your hair, it is recommended to wash it early, especially for long hair. 6. The way to open the door is different. The room card is inserted and pulled out immediately, and the door handle is pressed down to open the door.

The breakfast is very poor, the house is very old, and it is very close to the scenic spot!

The front desk service is warm and friendly. The snow-capped mountains outside the room window are like a dream. The room is clean and tidy, with a kettle. Although it is an old wooden house on the mountain, the stay experience is unique. The town is like a paradise on earth, quiet but not without fireworks. It is only a few minutes' walk from Wengen Railway Station and there is a coop supermarket. Life is very convenient. The front desk will also provide hiking route maps.

The Mini room is enough for one person. The balcony view is great, which can completely offset other shortcomings, such as being able to hear the guests walking and talking next to you. After all, many of the rooms have wooden structures that are more environmentally friendly.
