It was my first solo trip to Italy. I have never stayed in any hostel ever. At first I was super scared but one of the best experience I had. Everyone at the reception was so very helpful. They helped me plan my trip. Rooms were super clean. Great bathroom. Kitchen, bar everything is there. It's 1 minute walk from Venice Mestre railway station and 20 minutes from Venezia Santa Lucia by bus. You have both options. Train would be more easy. You can Roam around at night. I wish I could stayed more. The price is pretty cheap in comparison to Florence and Rome. It's the best. Go to the Main door which is exactly shown in the picture unlike me , I was standing at the backdoor and calling for directions. 🥴🥴

An interesting place to stay when visiting Venice. Prices were good. It is a student dormitory (on 8 floors), while the last, 9th floor was opened as a hotel in March. The room is clean and has its own bathroom. We received a nice gift on arrival - a welcome card, water and vouchers for drinks at the hotel bar. There was a fridge in the room which is definitely a plus. The hotel is eco-friendly and at every step encourages through various forms to be eco-friendly as well. Hotel guests can use the gym, table football or billiards on the ground floor. If you don't feel uncomfortable in a student environment or like this kind of energy, this is an interesting concept to try. Breakfast was simple and sweet, the only salty touch being the option of toast. Staff was friendly and smiling. CX Mestre is very close to the Mestre train station from where you can get to Santa Lucia in Venice in a few minutes.

The hotel is near the bus stop and since the water bus is operating 24/7, I was able to access anywhere. On the last day, the train departed Venezia Saint Lucia station at 5:26 am but still, there was the water bus operated at that time, so there were no worries about location. In terms of other aspects, I am overall happy but I felt there were too many people in a single room. I didn't have a lot of space to fully open my suitcase so I had to bring my suitcase outside the room to pack.

We were two couples who stayed at ”Quadruple room with Private Bathroom” for 3 days. The hotel stands at the heart of Venice center and walkable from Santa Lucia train station and Ferrovia ”Vaporetto” (water public transport of Venice Lagoon) Terminal from where you can get to everywhere you can think of while visiting Venice.
The hotel has 24 hours reception. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was room keeping everyday. The toilet was bit conjusted but was okay for us. The beds were comfortable. Everything was perfect. The only cons I found was the room size. It was a bit small for 4 people.
There are local bakeries and cafes around, pharmacy, restaurants in mid-budget, Gondola service, etc all at reachable walking distance.

Best location and price you can get near to Santa Lucia train station, just 2min walk from there. For checkin you need to collect keys from there another hotel which is just 1 more min straight from this hotel and is completely ok. Breakfast is provided again in the cafeteria of the other hotel and is very good comprising of tea,coffee, juices, fruits, cereals, toast, of course croissants, eggs. Had a good stay. The property might appear old but was clean and comfortable.

After a 30 minute walk we got to the hotel only to find out our room was in a separate building that was 10 blocks away! They stored our luggage for a couple of hours and when we ask to use the restroom we were told it was ‘only for people staying at the hotel’, the staff was quite rude.
The room itself was confortable.

The hotel is close to the Barefoot Bridge and next to the train station. The location is very convenient. You don’t have to push your luggage around in Venice, which is full of bridges and stone staircases. However zero sound insulation. And heater in the bathroom was inactive.

GGuest UserHotel is located in a great part of Venice, 10min of slow walk to the center, great restaurant right across the street. We've booked a room for 3 nights with breakfast which was satisfying with lots of pastries and local food although there was no vegetables or fruit. I recommend this hotel due to its price and value ratio. Our room was in Pantalon hotel, we needed late check in and staff was extremely helpful and kind, thanks to Emilia! Our stay was very pleasant. Keep in mind that when it's cold outside you need to close the window covers

GGuest UserThe location is super good, just within a five-minute walk of the Venice Island train station. There is a boat dock in front of the train station, surrounded by shops. There is also a local supermarket and even a Chinese restaurant next to it. The breakfast is not buffet style, but it is It was enough to eat. The waiter gave me a full pot of American coffee, which was very suitable for my needs. The counter was very enthusiastic and happy to answer any itinerary questions. Hotels on Venice Island are generally very expensive. I can only choose from the surrounding facilities, but here they are all Meets the selection criteria and had a pleasant stay

GGuest UserThe room is not very big, the victory is clean, the door is very strong, giving a strong sense of security, the croissant for breakfast is delicious, the outer skin is crispy, they also have a black and white kitten called jimmy, very cute. I chose the room without a bathroom, their public bathroom is relatively clean and refreshing, there are no safety issues and hygiene issues.

RRaluca DascalitaI stayed at La Pergola for 3 nights and it felt very homey to me, like a student dorm room.
It was easy to reach from the Lido SME station, very quiet, my room had plenty of light, a desk to do some work, internet was working properly in the room though I was at the second floor.
The bed was comfy, bed linen was clean, the water was warm and shower had pressure, though the shower head had some holes clogged.
All the basics are there, coffee in the morning is included, and -despite the fact that the room could use a deep cleaning - I think it was great value for money, much better than expected given the previous reviews.
This place will be on my return list in my future travels to Venice.

TTee LLWhen we reached, the reception told us that due to unforeseen circumstances,the room that we've booked ( with shared toilet)wasn't available and he offered us another room with private toilet with extra xx€ ( I forgot how much was it) but I refused to pay extra. In the end the reception gave us a free upgrade.
It was written that I should had paid 1.x euro at the hotel but the receiption asked to pay 2€ without giving me a receipt
The room was clean. The location was good. Close to eating places and supermarkets and train station. Travellers with luggages should choose this location. Facing the canal and station is at the back, turn left and after some minutes of walks the hotel is found.

The most unacceptable thing is that the shower conditions are extremely poor, there is almost no space, and the shared space with the toilet is extremely narrow, which is extremely inconvenient for travelers. I also encountered a neighbor who might be in a bad state of mind and hit the sunshade on the window of the hotel with a stone 5-6 times, complaining that the sound of the mobile phone in the room disturbed her, and it happened before ten o'clock in the evening.

Since the apartment is rented in three separate rooms, the kitchen, toilet, and terrace are shared, so it was convenient to use it as we wanted during the time when there were not many people. There is no washing machine, but there is a drying area. The sheets and towels are clean, but you shouldn't expect fixed under the bed or under the sink. I think it depends on the time and the members staying.
