Everything was good. I suggest to leave in the room extra pillows because the pillows in the bed were thin. Even extra toilet paper. On the third day during the cleaning of the room the attendant didn’t give us toilet paper. The room was so spacious and the breakfast very good

Very qualitative and nice located resort for your ski season. It is 20 min to Solden or 5-10 min for smaller resorts. Comfortable rooms, big parking, comfortable public space. Additionally you have supermarket, gas station just close buy and few restaurants in the village.

Beautiful and cozy hotel with spa zone. The only thing I would like to have in the room is a teapot to be able to boil water. The hotel location is pretty good. Only 25 minutes away from ski in Solden on a car. Huge parking space. The hotel has a big room to dry skies and snowboards accessible by room key.

A very pleasant stay, had everything we needed. Room was comfy, Spa was excellent, breakfasts ample to choose from and you can cook your own egg dishes. There is a ski/board bench where you can repair and wax (provided) equipment, was impressed by this. Would have liked a detailed map with instructions to walk from bus stop as it was a bit confusing and we took a couple of wrong turns, only matters if you are carrying all your luggage. Would recommend this place.

Excellent people, friendly and ready to supporto for any need. As a budget hotel the quality of services offered is outstanding, in particular a tempting breakfast buffet. Location is suitable for any type of activity guest are there for.

Nice experience for one night in Otztal - came to the hotel as we came to Aqua Dome and wanted a sleeping place. It was more than a sleeping place, atmosphere was great, personnel was wonderful, and the experience of creating your own breakfast (omelette/eggs etc) was the first one we saw till now. Will definitely return to Explorer Hotels while in Tirol.

As usual with low-rating review there is a story, so I'll start with it. We arrived late in evening and because i made a mistake with the booking we had a double room but booked for one person. both The receptionist and *********** were helpless as such major operation as adding a person to a room is too complicated for them. Long story short, it took almost an hour to get this sorted, before we could go to our room (which was double just the same). Very disappointing, will not come there again. Leaving the booking incident aside, it was very small rooms, not really clean, no shampoo - and for sure no atmosphere. The only point to give it two came with the breakfast that was really good and with large selection. If you just want to ski or hike, or cycle, maybe it is ok for you, but if you are searching for a little extra - forget about it. PS: this town is a good starting point to explore the timmelsjoch pass.

We have stayed in an Explorer hotel (Hinterstoder) before and the positive experiences made us choose this hotel chain again. It is easy to park the car around the building, the grounds are huge. An underground parking space is also available on request (8 EUR/day). The ski storage room is very spacious and well equipped, there is certainly space for skis and especially for ski boots. There is a washing machine and dryer (both MIELE brand) in the ski room, you can wash for 3 EUR. This can be very useful especially in the summer months after cycling or hiking. The wellness area offers the usual quality, perhaps the sauna was low temperature (about 80-85 C degrees). The breakfast is varied and of very good quality. The staff is quick to take away used glasses and plates.

Great hotel, nice and chilled, rooms a bit small but comfortable and very clean. Sauna area - top. Breakfast with the "egg station" is an absolute highlight, of course for those who can do it better themselves and no one else prepares the egg better for them :-)

A very successful concept of a hotel for sporty people and their families, clean, beautiful, sustainable and a great location. The facilities are modern and functional and the ecological approach is well implemented. Very friendly staff, enough opportunities to work out and then relax in the spa area. The breakfast buffet is very good and vegan food has also been considered 👍 I would happily recommend it 😀

The Explorer Umhausen is ideally located in the middle of the Ötztal. For holidaymakers who want to hike, cycle, climb during the day - simply be out and about and only return to the hotel in the evening, the rooms are practically furnished: compact, functional, large window front with a view of the mountains. Wood dominates the rooms, but the rooms are still tastefully furnished in a modern style. Large window front. The view of the peaks when you wake up is wonderful. Nice shower/toilet area. A highlight: Great breakfast buffet (all wishes are fulfilled: a dozen different types of cereal, if you want, you can fry an egg, omelette or bacon in the pan, vegetarian options, rolls, several types of bread, cake, fruit, vegetables, juice - sensational), nice bar and cozy, colorful lounge in the evening. The absolute plus point, however, is the atmosphere that is geared towards the guests. Natural Tyrolean warmth (also from the non-Tyrolean employees). Friendly staff at the reception (Sandra, Amelie and Co.) as well as the breakfast team around Rosi. Plus: a workshop for bicycles, sauna, steam bath, fitness area. Simply brilliant. We'll definitely be back.

Modern hotel, large room, good value for money, free parking. The service staff was very friendly. Breakfast is great with a great selection. A place I would return to.

The hotel and the rooms are very good. The arrival with online check-in and especially the staff are great, we would book an Explorer Hotel again at any time. There are good restaurants in town and if you don't want to go out in the evening you can also have a snack in the hotel
