The rooms are nice, not the biggest but clean. Service from the staff is amazing. Location is perfectly near all the restaurants and bars. Love the history of the building and how original they have kept it.

Good location - room with no view and opposite elevators - below my expectations and experience as an HH - desk was not able to accommodate for other room. Needed to ask for cleaning - somebody forgot pills in our room…

The hotel’s location is excellent, very close to the city center and the grand canal. The rooms are very clean and the hotel staff is quite welcoming and helpful. Breakfast variety was not the best, and it would have been nice to have an indoor pool in the hotel, given that we visited in December, so it would have been hard to visit the beach (there are no public beaches in the main Trieste city anyway, we’d have to go to Barcola for that).

1) Front desk stuff was not helpful at all!!! 2) Access to the hotel’s lobby is only by stairs and all stuff was trying to pretend there were busy not to help at all. Luckily, we had only small suitcases, so that was not a problem for us, but still for this level of hotel I would expect welcome service in front of the hotel and not at the front desk. 3) I would not recommend “Historical One Bedroom King Suite” - it looks like the room had been plundered long time ago. There were literally no decorations whatsoever, be it old or new

Palace is classic early 1900 architecture and luxury feeling, historic art and beauty accompanied us to the breakfast hall, while room was contemporary and convenient, services recently renewed, the hotel is located in the historic centre of the elegant Port City, car valet service very useful, in 10/15 minutes walking you can reach museums and best cafe’ restaurants

We went for my partners birthday night away. By far the most beautiful hotel I have stayed in around the world. Almost more of a museum than a hotel! Historic King Room was lovely. Reception staff and spa staff were super, breakfast staff could have paid more attention to us, we felt rather ignored.

A magnificent hotel in an extraordinary late 19th-century building. Elegant rooms equipped with slippers, bathrobes, iron, ironing board, soap, shaving kit, safe, etc. My room also had a sofa and two armchairs, a coffee table and two chairs. Everything was very elegant. There was also a wet bar with a Lavazza coffee machine and kettle, and of course, pods and tea. A convenient wardrobe and dressing area with space for suitcases. Top. Breakfast is served in the building's original and antique-decorated rooms, featuring mosaics, marble columns, and antique furnishings. If you arrive by car, you can park in front of the hotel and give them the keys. They will take your car to and from the hotel for €12, plus the €20 daily parking fee. Recommended. Bravo, Paris Hilton!

Overall, it's OK, and it meets the four-star standard. After staying in many hotels converted from old houses in Europe, I know that some of the room types are strange, so I'm mentally prepared. This is normal. I chose this place because I was attracted by the photos of the front desk. In fact, the best place to see is the front desk. The sanitation is good, the service is also very good, the front desk greets with a smile, and the waiters are quite proactive. The room is also relatively new, the shower is comfortable, the room is large, and the inner circle is quiet. The breakfast is average. It's convenient to go to the lively places when you go out to various attractions. When I walked here, I found that although the road was flat, the sidewalk was inconvenient to carry luggage, so I took a taxi later. I saw that there was a bus at the door but I didn't study it.

Great location, the building is wonderful, very well maintained, lots of hair, large and well designed room with shower and tub present. Excellent quality linens and high comfortable mattress with topper present. Very attentive and friendly staff. A contemporary style prevails, where ancient and modern mix in a perfect union. I would gladly return.

Excellent neoclassical building in Trieste, built in 1913, very tall and grand. The hotel staff is very friendly and answered all questions. I stayed on the top floor, and although there are no traditional windows, there are skylights and a small glass atrium, and the skylight can be opened and closed like a car's skylight. The hotel is in a good environment, close to the city center, and the buffet breakfast is also very rich.
