This is my 2nd time to stay in this Ryokan style accomodation runned by 2 lively and lovely sisters! I will definitely book again if I will go back to Kinosaki Onsen.

This is a very cost-effective youth hostel in Kinosaki Onsen Town. The hot spring town is relatively small, so it doesn't matter where you stay. The room is in the form of tatami and you have to make your own bed. When I checked in, there were only two people in the room including me, and my roommate was relatively quiet, which was nice. There is no floor heating in the public areas of the hotel, so it is quite cold. There are two toilets and two washbasins in total. When I used it, it was a coincidence that I didn't see anyone else and didn't have to queue. There is only one bathroom, on the first floor. I didn't use it because I went to the public hot spring. There is also a small kitchen on the first floor where you can simply heat up rice balls or something.

Very good hostel, wonderful owners - told and explained everything, gave yukatas and a full set for hot springs. Everything is clean, the rooms are very cozy, it is cool in the room, but the air conditioner warmed it up. For such a price it is even all 100 stars✨

It was nice that they were very friendly. It was difficult to eat because I had a place to cook, but luckily I was able to eat food from a convenience store, so it was nice. It's one of the best guesthouses I have had the pleasure of staying in! The hosts were so very welcoming and helpful, making my trip to Kinosaki feel very special. The guesthouse itself was very beautiful, clean, and well looked after. The room and shared facilities had everything you could need for a relaxing stay in Kinosaki. I stayed in the shared rooms and found I had plenty of space for myself and all my stuff. There is a fully stocked kitchen and living area so you can easily cook some meals if you’re travelling on a budget. During my stay, I received a Yukata, furoshiki, small towel, and most importantly, some excellent advice for my Onsen visits. The location was perfect for visiting all of the Onsen and I certainly tried to do that, but in the end I think I tapped out after 5… For any woman travelling to Kinosaki, I recommend staying at Guesthouse Kinosaki Wakayo if you want a truly wonderful experience!
