As its name suggests, Hotel Route Inn Toyama Inter was located at the junction with the general road after exiting Toyama Interchange on the Hokuriku Expressway. We stayed at this hotel close to the interchange as we were returning to Hokkaido the following day on a flight departing Niigata Port at noon. We left the hotel at 6:55am and arrived at Pier Bandai, a commercial facility near Niigata Port, by 10am. This is something that can only be done at a hotel that is almost directly connected to the interchange. We planned to leave by 7am so went to the breakfast restaurant at 6:30am when the breakfast venue opened. There was a line of people there who had gathered just in time for that.
