It was a good stay.  The place was quiet and we like it. But we found the bed sheets and towel not washed properly.

Clean and friendly staff. Perfect place if you're looking for a place to sleep for a night.

Old and room was musky and smelling so needed a big airing out. Pool looked great but it rained while we were there.

Good sized room, clean motel in Toronto not far from the M1 motorway

We stayed for one night in room 22 which had been renovated and had nice modern decor. The room was clean. The bed was overy comfortable. Everything worked well, the air con, the WIFI, the TV, the hot water and shower. The shower was great! There was enough space to lay out our small suitcase and keep it open so we could easily take out clothes as we needed them. Pool look inviting and no traffic noise.

The room was exceptionally clean. Very fast, easy check-in with helpful staff. Wonderful, handy location and great value for money. Only thing that would have made our stay more comfortable would have been a greater variety of pillow types - all the pillows in our room were extremely firm and high (including the spares in the wardrobe), but everything else was great - would definitely stay again!

The owners are so welcoming, as long as you do the right thing , they are very accommodating and understanding. clean rooms, comfy beds, great water power for showers, free washing machine, bus stop out front, 3 minute walk to everything. Actually very quiet here of a night.

From the phone booking, to check in, Peter was great to deal with. Very efficient and friendly. The motel room was immaculately clean and tidy, with comfortable beds and linen. All necessary amenities were provided. We thoroughly recommend Catalina to stay when in Toronto.

There were a couple of problems with the inclusions, particularly power points: there was none next to or near the queen sized bed; the double PowerPoint above the sink was too high to plug in a kettle or toaster safely. There was also no mirror in the bathroom. The air conditioning also Didn’t work properly and it was freezing during the night.

We were over from the UK visiting our son and granddaughters and doing a bit of touring. We stayed for 2 nights and would be very happy to return. The hosts were very friendly and helpful and obviously take great pride in their motel. The grounds are well planted out, there is a very clean swimming pool. The room was immaculate and well equipped. We had a nominated parking place directly outside our room. The rooms are on the ground floor, no stairs to carry luggage up . We were even able to catch up on washing. It is in a lovely area and is very peaceful. Thank you for a very good stay best wishes Jean and Steve

2nd Easter long weekend we've stayed here, this time just as happy as last year. Great value compared to other placed we've stayed in area. The parking space is fine for a larger vehicle & it seems like a really safe place to park your precious. Room very clean, bed comfy. Nice & quiet location, no room noise from other rooms, nor any road noise whatsoever. Bathroom bright & functional. There is basically everything you need in room - reverse-cycle A/C (that was quiet & worked perfectly!), microwave/jug/toaster/fridge/ceiling fan/hair dryer/etc. The staff/owners are very nice folks & not the least bit intrusive.

Being the only motel in the immediate area, it does have the monopoly. We paid $115 for a single room, which on first appearance seemed a tad expensive. The exterior surrounds and pool were well kept and very tidy. The room was very old style, but the bed was was very comfortable, spare pillows that were nice and plump. The necessities were provided, tea/Coffee making,toaster, fridge, hairdryer, crisp white towels, soap etc.nice little flat screen tv. We had all we needed and slept well. The room may have been out of style, but couldn't fault it for cleanliness and comfort.

Have and would recommend Catalina Motel to anyone looking for accommodation in Toronto. The friendly staff were outstanding, over and above any off my expectations. We arrive just after 7pm, (tired and hungry after travelling for 3 days) after a lovely welcoming check in, reception concerned about our dinner was most helpfull suggesting options. The rooms are good size to fit all three of us, clean and comfortable. The BBQ facility was handy, were abit over take away foods. The location is convident walking distance to sight see, town square shops and the lake. Definatly will be staying there again..

Our stay at Catalina Motel is very good. We visited our friend and he has been staying here for 2 weeks already. This is a quiet environment and most of the guests just sleeps and work the next day. Mostly miners. Room is big and can accommodate 3 pax. Pantry is amazing. Includes coffee, tea, sugar and milk (inside the fridge). It is close to the restaurants and variety to choose from. Housekeeper is very good as cleaning is spotless. Very clean. Free wifi includes usage of 200MB. But if you want more, there are additional charge. Mattress is comfortable to sleep at night. We will definitely recommend Catalina Motel!
