Wuzhen ZELIN Viewing Pavilion Boutique Hotel (Xizha Scenic Area) Reviews

We stayed 1 night at the hotel and everything was good considering to the price and location. But the highlight of our stay are the service and the food. The owner is super friendly and generous. We ordered breakfast and dinner at the hotel and they are all super tasty. He offered us very special tea after the meal. Highly recommended to stay here!

Owner was very nice to provide information on where we wanted to go and give us direction. He helped us with the baggages up the rooms. Great that we could have our breakfast on the ground floor of our stay.

Can eat breakfast at ground floor and paid immediate, if no breakfast include in your stay. No lift, but owner will help you carry luggage to upstair and take from upstair to downstairs when you left. If you need to travel to any location, can tell owner, they will arrange the taxi for you. They also will remind you don’t take any three wheeler on street to Nan Zha, if need they will arrange transport for you (with paid).

The owner of the hotel really friendly and welcoming the room is green first floor off the hotel is the restaurant. You can walk to a traditional village and have convenient store around good location and the price is lovely 

Very good location, very nice people, very good price, beds are confortable and clean, but the rest of the facilities, floors and windows, or common areas good benefit from a really deep cleaning. Food could be much better, it is very affordable though They give you at the end some cookies which we loved.

This hotel is 5min away walk from Wuzhen Xizha (West Area) entrance. I prefer staying outside traditiona/waterl towns, as I find it easier to access and less hectic. It doesn't have elevator, but the hotel staff helped me carry my luggage upstairs. All was fine and during my stay; no loud noises, no smell, hot water, air conditioner works well, clean, etc. Hotel staff is very kind.

Nolstagic and cozy room. The owner is very friendly and kind. The location is perfect as it is within walking distance to xi zha. There is a free shuttle bus to dong zha as well, right infront of entrance of xi zha. Strongly recommended for solo traveller and bagpackers.

Location: 5min walk to Wuzhen ticket office and long-distance bus stops. Next to many local eateries and Hanfu shops. Super convenient to walk around. Room: cozy, big enough for 4 people, clean toilet, but feel very cold during winter (or maybe because I didn't know how to use the AC remote control). Room price is affordable, cheaper than those inside Wuzhen. Service: owner is super friendly and supportive. He helped carry our luggage upstairs and even sent us tea and snacks when we left. There's a restaurant on ground floor that offers meals from morning till evening (but to me food was so so, not delicious). Free bottled water. =＞ Pleasant stay overall. I'd recommend this place if you travel in summer, spring or fall.

Very good service by owner. Helped to carry luggage and arranged transport to Hangzhou. Allowed us to keep the room beyond check out time.

The hotel owner was very supportive and gave us a lot of advices for saving money. He also helped us to book a car to Hangzhou with a competitive price. If u need anything, just ask him. Very nice one

Had the pleasure of staying in Wuzhen Zeilin viewing Pavilion boutique Hotel for one night. Upon arrival, the boss was very friendly and gave us local tips for around the Wuzhen area and future travel advice around Jiangsu. The hotel is just a short walking distance to the main Wuzhen Xizha tourist area. The room provided was very clean and spacious, with a large shower. We also enjoyed a delicious breakfast downstairs for an affordable cost. The boss also provided a driver for us to travel to Suzhou. Highly recommended and would book again if we ever visit Wuzhen! 👍

The boss is a very honest man and also very helpful. He goes the extra mile to help you with anything that you need. Just inform him what your need or where you would like to go and he will recommend the best method and even help to arrange for transportation, services etc at the best value price. The hotel is located just 300meters walk away from the Wuzhen Xizha Scenic Area ticketing centre. Though it is not located inside the scenic area, it is worth staying here because there are plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, massage parlours, and traditional costume and make up shops that you can get better price than within the scenic area. The hotel owner also helped to arrange a rickshaw to bring us tour nanzha(south part of Wuzhen) which depicts more of the lifestyle of the local people with a few nice areas for photography and to buy local produce. Many chinese dramas were also filmed at Nanzha area which the rickshaw rider explained very well but in mandarin chinese. He also helped to take nice photographs for us. The hotel owner also helped to book a car from Wuzhen to Tongli at a reasonable price. If you are travelling from either Hangzhou or Suzhou to this hotel, i would recommend that you give the hotel owner a call and ask him to arrange for a car to get you from those places to Wuzhen especially if you travel in groups of 2-4 persons because the hotel owner is able to get a reasonably priced car. Overall, i would stay in this hotel again if i visit Wuzhen again, because of the owner’s great hospitality and service.

Good location. 100m from the scenic area and surrounding is all the same, hotel and restaurant. This area main business is for tourist. The owner is very helpful and a smart business man.

Went with a gal pal. The staffs were very kind! But the bathroom door is open on the top, so all the sounds from the toilet can be heard from the room. The shower drain was almost blocked.
