Hotel Suntargas Ueno Reviews

Very strategic location to travel to Narita Airport to catch the first train. However, every time exiting the room, you need to handover the keys at the counter.

For a budget hotel, I rate Hotel Suntargas “excellent.” My reasons: cleanliness, location (walking distance from metro and JR train, Ueno park, eateries, and shops.

Good location, easy access to Ueno station,. Even though typical budget hotel, little bit small. But feel comfortableto stay here

Very convenient location close to ueno station

The room is a bit small, especially the bathroom. But, I think it is regular size in Tokyo. The room is clean. Service is good. Staffs are friendly. Location is good.

Hard pillow, very small bathroom, noisy AC. However, quite a clean room and good location. Very good value if you are staying only 1 or 2 nights before heading to Narita Airport.

toilet is very small and so as the bath tub. there are two beds in the room but can't find space for opening two suit cases.

Good location near skyline and market

Great service! Arriving early at the hotel will be delivered in addition to storage! Just cross the main road and you'll find Ah Mei Yokocho! There are good barbecue restaurants nearby! The room is clean only the toilet is small the rest is fine! CPvalue is top-notch!

The location of the hotel is very good, easy to find, near JR Okashimachi Station North Exit and very close to Ameyoko Market, GU Uniqlo, you can shop and leave your stuff at the hotel and walk back to shop again. Near Keisei Skyliner and JR Ueno Station, you can walk to all of them. There are 7-Eleven, Family Mart. The hotel is old but clean. There is some carpet smell in the corridor, but there is no smell in the room. There is a spray for clothes in the room. The small Japanese-style room is suitable for one person. If you book for 2 people, the room may be bigger. There are hair dryers, towels, yukata in the room, shower cream, shampoo, conditioner. As for toothbrushes, combs, razors, headbands, pick them up at the check-in counter. And hot water, cold water, coffee too. All in all, it is very good. And next time I will go back to stay again.

I came on a solo trip, but it is not suitable for staying alone. As is the case with Japanese hotels, the bathroom is small. However, it is close to Ueno Park, Ueno Station, and Ameyogo Market, so the location is good.

Not far from Ueno Station. You can choose whether to have your room cleaned. If you don't, they will hang new towels outside the door for you. The staff are very nice. Recommended for staycation

The location is very close to Ameyoko, which makes shopping convenient. You can take your purchases home and then go out to continue shopping.

Old but friendly and good Heating is a disadvantage, but most places in Japan are similar, so it's not a big disadvantage Cheap price, free water/coffee, good location
