I was pleasantly surprised given the outside exterior was rough run down however inside was tidy. The room was small however adequate and had a nice view of the lake.  The shower head  wasn’t great spraying in all directions and water went hot and cold. The bath was good and relaxing.  They could have better pillows firm pillows as the ones provided were quite soft.  However for what you pay it was adequate and served its purpose.

It’s a nice hotel located close to the town centre. The morning buffet didn’t had enough varieties of selection compared to the other hotels we stayed over the week.

This hotel is near everything great service here and the weather is good

The hotel has entertainment facilities which are great for kids and families. Reasonable services.

The hotel is a bit dated and could use some renovations, especially in the rooms, to improve the overall comfort for guests. Moreover, the wifi was very poor, cannot be used the internet at all, should improve! However, the front desk staff provides excellent service in the morning, and they offer great recommendations for local attractions.

Stayed one night on the way to Milford Sound. The room was spacious, clean and old. It was OK for one night.

I booked this hotel specifically for my trip to the fjord the next day, but I regretted it. First of all, the area was too small to spread out the luggage. Secondly, the wall spotlights were broken, the wall heater was broken, the shower water was sometimes hot and sometimes cold, and the water pressure was extremely unstable. The toilet was difficult to flush, the bed was so soft that it collapsed, and of course there was no housing keeping.

In order to catch the first Milford Sound cruise, I drove to this hotel overnight. It is a 2-story building with no elevator and a large area. Even though it is summer, it is still quite cold at night and you need to wear a thin down jacket. This hotel is very warm and also provides electric blankets and electric heaters.
