This is my second time to Tashkent. I’m too embarrassed to share the hotel I stayed in before, but this time I stayed at this Southwest Hotel. It’s really worth recommending. The owner is Chinese. The hotel is also very clean and hygienic. You can also eat in the middle of my hometown. You can drink tea with the boss in the lobby if you have nothing to do. If you don’t understand anything, you can ask the boss. It’s much more convenient to travel and do things. You won’t be deceived and spend money unnecessarily. I will continue to stay here next time I come here.

Upon arrival at the hotel, I was happy to hear the familiar Mandarin in a new destination from the friendly manager/owner. After seeing my booking's printout, the manager mentioned that I had booked a wrong room, to be exact, a single room. I told him that my printout clearly stated a double room for two persons and with breakfast for two. His local worker went through the printout and confidently said I had booked a single room. Finally, it was my turn to explain to them in both Mandarin and English. I told them the amount of payment may look small(over RM170), which is almost equivalent to RMB280. Now, the manager must have woken up from his sleep that my friend and I were not mainland Chinese but Malaysians. Immediately, he said my booking was now correct. Soon after, he asked for another 110,000 Som/about RMB63 for local taxes, which I duly paid. The App, Trip.com, had never mentioned this amount when I did the booking. Perhaps Trip.com had overlooked this matter. This post is not to insinuate something negative about the hotel reception on the day of my check-in but to point out that don't judge a book by its cover, namely a smaller amount of a currency may be very deceptive if the reader jumps into conclusion that a Mandarin speaking guest is always from China.

Clean cozy hotel. Believe without spots, plumbing worked and air conditioning. Matras comfortable. There is the Internet. Good rest between the planes. To the airport near the airport, the taxi arrives quickly, even at night, used the Yandex taxi as the transfer from the hotel was 10 times more expensive. Hotel Chinese, on the resepschen, a polite boy speaks Russian, although his dictionary is small, but it is understandable. Breakfast did not try because it flew at night. The hotel liked. The area was quiet and quiet.

The hotel itself is good, clean. But the location of our room was very bad, the description said that it was a city view, but in fact the window looked at the reception in the corridor. The ventilation did not work, and it was very stuffy in the room. The location is close to the airport, but far from the attractions. The breakfast was good and varied.

Breakfast is more, rich, there are still more choices, the bed is bigger, the heating is still more sufficient, but the cleaning person does not knock on the door and open the door directly, this woman should pay attention

MMarikoIt is a perfect guesthouse ever! Host doesn’t speak English, but she does know how to communicate travelers and gives you all the important information. Accommodations are clean, equipped, lovely. My stay was absolutely amazing.
RRamonI arrived at 2300 and there is a monopoly of taxis. Frankly, I just wanted to get to the hotel so I hired the official airport taxi (there is a stand before customs, as well as money change facilities). The driver had a little difficulty locating it, but it is actually a couple hundred of meters from a mayor street.
After traveling in China, I was relief to notice that the people at the hotel speak English (thanks Haselbeck). The room is clean and right behind the reception, at street level. Since the windows open, I asked Haselbeck about the crime situation and he laughed, stating that this doesn't happen in Uzbekistan.
Breakfast was very good, with cold meats, eggs, cereal, cookies, cake, tea, coffee and blynis. While having breakfast I spoke to a person from India who was working is Tashkent about how he transports, since the Metro is about 1600 m away. He laughed it and told me to use Yandex Go and order taxis. Great find! They are really inexpensive .
GGuest UserAlthough it is a public bathroom, it is really clean and tidy, the room is very quiet and hygienic, and the Internet TV wifi is easy to use, the boss waiter is friendly and polite, and the Chinese are super kind! Affordable price, highly recommended 👍👍👍
33계1주중입니다만There was construction going on nearby, but it wasn't noisy, and the private rooms were large and nice. The biggest downside is that there are no restaurants or convenience facilities nearby. It would be good to stay the day before going to the airport.
