located in okuhida onsen area, so we can go enjoy various kind of scenery onsen places during that day as well. kamikochi is less than an hour through hirayu bus station. after a walking day at kamikochi soaking in the hotel public bath was so satisfying.enjoying a bottle of sake atthe hotel garden in front of its bath house is one of the highlights of our stay. the service is excellent, everybody is so attentive.  the breakfast is very good and the excellent dinner kept coming, almost couldn’t finish, the local beef main course is so delicious. the quality goes far beyond the price, highly recommended.

We really loved the onsen. It’s located in a beautiful setting but you need to take a bit of a drive from Takayama to get there. Each men’s and women’s onsen has 2 baths, one hot one indoors and one cooler one outdoors. We liked both as you can get a nice breeze sitting outside. The bathrooms in each room are a bit dated but it’s clean. The food was exceptional, but come with a big appetite because it’s a lot of food. The staff were very friendly and we enjoyed our stay.

Family hotel without pathos, very cozy. Dinner was great, beef just melted in the mouth. 6 onsen, 2 private and 2 open, very beautiful territory with flowers and a pond.

The room is big and the hot spring is very comfortable. But the room doesn't have a bathroom, only a toilet, and you have to go to the public hot spring to take a bath. The only downside is that the private bath is very small and has no flushing facilities. The meal was very rich, and included Hida beef. Very good service, overall satisfied 👍

Transportation: After arriving at Takayama Bus Station, take a bus to Fukuchi Onsenkou, which is about an hour's drive. You can see the hotel when you get off the bus, which is very convenient. Environment: Traditional Japanese inn, the overall environment is good, and the wood is very elegant. The facilities in the room are a bit old, but clean. The room is quite large. The hot springs are divided into indoor and outdoor, and there are two private baths. There is no extra charge. You can go in and use them when no one is there. You can enjoy the public pool alone during non-peak hours, which is very comfortable. Since the hotel is far away from the bus terminal, there are more local tourists than hotels near the terminal. There are fewer people overall and the experience is good. Service: Non-Japanese native speakers have difficulty communicating, and the waiters generally do not understand English, so it is difficult to provide services. The service is not very enthusiastic, but it can basically meet the needs. There is no bed-making service at night, so you need to do it yourself. Food and Beverage: The room rate includes two meals, which is very cost-effective. Breakfast and dinner are both Japanese, and dinner includes Hida beef. The quantity is quite large, and you can eat full, and the taste is acceptable. The overall level is good, especially the price is very affordable among all hot spring hotels. It is a choice I would recommend to my friends.

Traditional Japanese inn, the rooms are a bit old. Although the courtyard cannot be used after heavy snow, it is equipped with a pond of koi and snow scenery, which is full of Japanese style. There are not many hot spring pools, but fortunately the hotel is relatively small and not crowded. It is quite quiet and comfortable to take a bath facing the snow scenery of the back mountain. The private bath is also convenient. The dinner is very rich and I ate a lot for two days. The overall cost performance is good.

I stayed here during the Spring Festival. It's been a long time since I reviewed this hotel. I also wanted to give a reference to the guests who stayed at this hot spring hotel. I went there in winter and encountered a snowstorm that only happens once in a decade. I could only take the JR back to Nagoya, which was a bit embarrassing. But the hotel is in a white snowy environment, which makes people relax and comfortable. There is a large public hot spring in the hot spring, which is an indoor pool and an outdoor one, but it's too cold and I don't want to try it. There are also 2 private hot springs that are also outdoor, but I didn't go because I was afraid of the cold. The hot spring is a real hot spring, there is no smell of bleach, just the weird smell of hot springs. And it is hanging straight, and water is always flowing out. Because I washed and soaked after checking in, I went there again at night and found that all the items were sorted out. When I came out at night, I found that the front desk lady walked in with the items to sort them out. I felt that the service was really in place. The dinner was very good and the quantity was very large! Breakfast is a bit unsuitable for my Chinese stomach. Most of them are cold food, Japanese style. And dinner was eaten in the lobby. The floor heating should be turned on. The whole space is very warm. You know, it's very cold outside with heavy snow. When I left, the front desk also reminded me of the shuttle bus time back to the mountains. The service was much better than that of the hotels in the city. Maybe there was a language barrier and I needed a translator, so the communication was not so smooth, but there was basically no problem. However, the hotel is really in the wilderness, with no village in front and no shop behind. I was really scared when I stood at the platform waiting for the bus after leaving the hotel. There was a bear sign on the platform 1 (8:14) near the mountain, which was scary. Because of the heavy snow, the shuttle bus did not arrive on time, 20 minutes late, and I was so anxious waiting. I was crazy thinking of various countermeasures in my mind. Fortunately, the bus slowly drove by, and I was relieved. Overall, I was very satisfied with the hot spring hotel one night and two meals itinerary.

It is a perfect five-star experience! From the design to the hot springs, from the layout of the room to the snow-capped mountains when you open the window, it is truly a life-level experience

It may be more suitable for sisters and couples, not so suitable for parents and children. But the courtyard environment is very good, but the room feels a bit cold.

We unexpectedly booked a traditional Japanese hotel with a very artistic environment. The dinner and breakfast were rich in variety and tasted great. The service was even better. There are two private baths in the hotel, no reservation is required, you can enter as long as the door is open.
