Very good and find services. Room are big. Breakfast was very old tradition Japanese food

The hotel in general is better than expectation. It has a long history but still maintain an elegance and utmost cleanliness. The view of the lake from the window of our room is perfect. We even watch sunrise in the morning.

We stayed two nights in the hotel with breakfast and dinner. The web page of Trip.com showed that there was onsen in the hotel but when we check in, we were told that it was a "mistake". There is no onsen and the photo is a public onsen half an hours away. It was very disappoining that the Trip.com include photos irrelevant to the hotel. Dinner was also diffferent from the web photo. We have to pay 2500 yen each to upgrade the dinner to shsbu shabu. Breakfast is Japanese style with limited choice. Other than these, we had lake view room and shopping mall is nearby which are the advantages.

The staff of the hotel is nice and kind, and they are willing to help you anytime.

The location of the hotel is fantastic, right in front of the lake with breathtaking views. The room was spacious and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. The hotel is very bike-friendly and the staff were incredibly helpful. I would highly recommend this place for a short stay. The Japanese breakfast was good, but it was a little on the boring side. It could benefit from a bit more variety to make it more interesting.

This hotel is very old , all equipments are vintage but that is clean.

It is some distance from the station, the lake is quiet, the scenery is great, and it is very comfortable to go out for a walk in the morning.

The hotel feels quite old, but the environment/facilities are well maintained, and the large windows face Lake Biwa, with a very beautiful view. A 2-minute walk to a low-priced supermarket is very convenient. It is a good place to stay when visiting Shirahige Shrine/Lake Biwa.

We stayed here during the winter ski season. The lobby and restaurant were nice, but the twin room we stayed in felt a bit old-fashioned. The view of Lake Biwa from the room was amazing. Dinner was a bit pricey for what it was. The taste was average. The rice cooked in a pot and raw meat* for breakfast were delicious, but the children's breakfast menu was a huge pile of hamburger steak, fried chicken, bacon, and potatoes, so we didn't feel like eating in the morning. There were several shuttle buses to Hakodateyama Ski Resort in the morning, which seemed convenient. We went to Makino Kogen Ski Resort, which is about 20 minutes away from the hotel. I thought it was convenient because it was close to both ski resorts.

It is a friendly place. If you want to spend a leisurely holiday in Hakodate Mountain or Lake Biwa, it is a very recommended hotel. Making good use of the hotel's station/hotel/Hakodate Mountain shuttle service will make the trip very enjoyable. The room is spacious and comfortable, the service is fast and friendly, the breakfast is delicious, and the humidifier in the room is great.

Except for the guests' leftovers in the refrigerator and the lack of a large public bath, the rest is good. There are several stores next to it, the one opposite has duty-free, and motorcycles can be parked outside the lobby.
