Wonstar Hotel Zhong Hua Reviews

The corridor and common area is old. The rooms appears to be recently renovated but still dated. Carpet gave a musky smell. The checkin is through a machine which is not intuitive and still needs a staff to help.

A small hotel with not too many rooms. We booked for 3 rooms but they unable to make it all in same level. Strong smoke smell in the room. Request to change room but no available room for us. Stayed at level 2&3, morning voice is unavoided since 5am. Overall is convenient.

Good location. Close to bus stops. Slightly more than 10 min walk to xmd station. Room is comfy for the price paid. Friendly staff who called a taxi for us.

Best location! It is conveniently placed near Ximending and right in front of bus stops. Walking distance to two MRT line and airport train line. One of the bus stop is to get on bus to go to Jiufen. We book a bigger room and it was comfy and spacious. The best feature is the shower, the water pressure is good to wash away your all day walking fatigue. Comfy bed too Would recommend and return here again !

This is my second time to stay in this hotel and everything is good as usual. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Worst stay ever.... came back on the first night after a long day of outing and found out that there was no water when we wanted to shower... called the reception and they said there was something wrong with the water tank?? Which they could only get it fixed in 3 hours. They provided us with bottled water so that we could shower with that. Haha felt like I was back in army with the cold water, but privileged to be showering with precious bottled water. The room smells damp and there is mold at the corners of the carpeted floor as well as old moldy wood smell in the cabinets. Please book this hotel only if you dont mind staying in what felt like a furnace because I had to live with that the WHOLE 5-nights stay. Feedbacked multiple times and they mentioned it was "中央空调", which means "centralised aircon", and there was nothing they could do. Fair enough, they provided a standing fan, that helped to circulate the hot air in the room internally by like 1%, not bad. I mean it IS the first time I had to use a fan in a hotel... understand that it is a 3-star hotel but I've stayed in better 1 or 2 star hotels honestly.. at least their ac was working... I do have videos of my above claims but unfortunately Trip doesn't allow me to upload videos so.. best of luck for those who still choose to stay! Although I am sorry you've lost me as a customer, but please fix your hotel Wonstar... unless you're really going for.. One Star.

The hotel is very clean and located very close to Ximending. I will book this hotel again next time. If the hotel has rooms available on that day, it would be better if guests can check in early.
