"I have lived many times and I am very satisfied. It is clean and comfortable. It is just that the floor of the room has been destroyed for years, resulting in a bit of noise when stepping on it, a bit hollow; but it does not affect the accommodation, but I hope to find time to repair it."

"Pretty good experience staying here. near to fengchia and convenient stores and shopping right infront nd everywhere. check in and out process is super fast. room is also spacious and has all amenities provided. Only thing is refill of water only at L7 and you have to walk up from L6. which is not knee friendly. Breakfast also at L7 and has no proper queue and seat allocation so basically you try to snatch your own seat as shortage of staff. Food selection is acceptable."

"The service by all staff provided is excellent, and daily room service replenishes all free snacks and drinks. Near to raohe night market, chiate bakery and shopping malls(where uniqlo n GU were located). A local market was located just right below the hotel, and food is very easily found. Unfortunately, I did not capture any hotel rooms photo, but rooms are as described and shown by the website."

"The location is good, right outside FengChia market, but the bus to and from the HSR comes every hour and is usually delayed. Better to take a cab.
Beyond that, the temperature control in the room doesn’t exist. We set the temperature at 24 degrees, but it was freezing all 3 nights. My husband usually loves the cold weather and we sleep in aircon at home, but even he was shivering from the cold."

"Nice place to stay! It was clean and new - they are nice to also provide a baby cot for free for our baby. However, the mattress is a little too thin so we had to let baby sleep on the bed. Nonetheless, it is an awesome place to be at when in Taichung."

4 stars for staff: The email management department cannot effectively grasp the customer's needs. One question was confirmed three times, but the on-site service staff was very 👌🏻
Price 2 stars: Compared with other hoshinowas in Japan, this one in Guguan not only does not include meal charges, but also charges each item separately, causing trouble for passengers. Moreover, the taste and sophistication cannot be equated with the price, and they are a bit deceived into spending meal charges. It feels like accommodation charges in Japan include at least one stay and two meals❌

GGuest UserThere's a lot that I like about this hotel. Our room was nice and large for the price. The decor in our room was beautiful, especially the wooden furniture. The toiletries by Cha Tzu Tang are the best! The location was great for us, being near or very near to useful bus lines. I would love to see more fresh fruit in the breakfast buffet. I would *really* like it if they have black coffee as an option in the room. (Inhouse Hotel Grand: If you're reading this, please can we have black coffee in the rooms that we can make for ourselves?)

KKuen HawThe hotel is near fengjia night market. All toiletries are provided in the hotel room. There is a lounge with complimentary snacks and hot beverages. There is also a laundry area for you to wash your clothes.
Overall, excellent stay. Will book the hotel again if I come Taichung.

SSEANIEBEEA 5 star hotel that deserves its rating. Rooms are comparable with Sheraton/Hilton etc... it's a well-oiled machine and everyone was efficient and kind. Shout out to my namesake SEAN in the Prime restaurant on the roof who took care of us with a memorable Christmas dinner. One for any short list in Taichung.

AAnonymous UserLocation - I’m not sure if we just missed out on what’s nearby. But we did walk on the sides, we were searching around of what’s there to see. We didn’t see much, like we realized after walking for a few minutes that we just found the convenient store which is kinda far if that was the nearest available (or again, there could be one the other side we don’t know haha).
So after walking around, and realizing there’s nothing much to see. We already booked an Uber going to the night market.
It wasn’t that far from the HSR Station. I couldn’t remember the exact distance and travel time. But if I find it far I’d normally remember it and say it.
Service - it was an easy check-in and check-out. Though, I almost forgot to get a receipt. Had to proactively ask for one. Luckily we decided to stay for a bit after checking out, we remembered it and got to request for it.
I like how they already asked upon checking in if we need a room cleaning service. That was convenient.
The breakfast was so so (on my personal taste bud). Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t that bad.
I love the room the most! We were happy about how spacious it is. And it has an AI box which we loved. The bathtub has a tv, the shower area was spacious, the ambience of the room, hallways and lobby. The free snacks. The brand of the body wash and conditioner. The free Nescafe machine in the lobby.
I’d definitely recommend it and I’d stay here again.
(Though I still have a pending concern that I have to figure out myself, cause the amount showing in the invoice was different from the amount showing on tha app. Haven’t checked how much was the final amount taken out on my card)

SStepfy NgHotel room quite big,clean and worth the price. Location good near the Taichung train station walk within 3 minutes. Good place to use the public transport, walk within 1 minute have the convenient shop 7/11 and family mart. Even come with HSR and transfer via TRA go to this hotel also very easier. The bad thing is this hotel do not have rest place to microwave takeaway food, u need to finished the food in your room and do not have water purifier. If wanna get some hot water refill may need to get free from Family mart. Anyway, I'm still enjoying in this hotel.

KKuantingIt can be seen that the hotel is an old hotel. It takes several attempts to open the door with the room card sensor. There are not many choices for breakfast. During the 9 o'clock breakfast period, the items are not replenished quickly. There are not many parking spaces around. If you check in late, you need to walk a long way. The room was clean enough, but the handrail next to the toilet made it a little difficult to extract the toilet paper. The advantages are that children have tokens that can be used to twist a stamp when they check in, and the sound insulation is pretty good. The disadvantages are that the overall appearance is relatively retro, and there are no water dispensers on every floor, so you have to go to the first floor to get water.
