Tango Hotel Taichung Reviews

It belongs to the standard business hotel… the room is spacious and clean and well maintained…however, i have issues with the bathroom flush and the shower head / tap switch… which took me sometime to figure them out… There is a lobby bar on the first floor where we can wait and drink machine made coffee…..the gym and laundry room is located at B1… there should have better indications of how to open the gym door and lobby bar door… sometimes there is no one to aak about how to go in… maybe the washing machine needs to change the rubber rims cos of accumulated dark spots… but it’s free so i am not really complaining… The hotel has excellent front desk and housekeeping staff…. Special thanks to Cindy Lai who went the extra miles to find out the rates for taxi chartering… sorry that we did not take it up in the end though we thought it’s a good idea… grateful that we took the advice to go to LuKang old street instead as the places we plan to go is too far. We underestimated Taichung’s size… The hotel breakfast is fantastic, they have a different varieties for the two days we went.. the food is delicious and well selected… i wish i can eat more… the restaurant staff are also very helpful… Overall, me and my friend have great experience at The Tango Taichung….

Location is very good with many restaurants around. Free Parking is available next block just 5 min away. There's a supermarket Carrefour and many restaurants around. Family Mart is just across the street. Theres a public bus G1 that brings you to and fro Taichung HSR Station. Breakfast is good especially their coffee and yoghurt are very yummy. Front desk staff are helpful and attentive. The only thing that could be improved is probably the toilet to have racks for hanging towels and clothes. (Theres only one small hook in the entire bathroom)

Hotel is very clean and very well maintained. Near to many eateries and a short walk to Metro station. There is also a lounge with coffee machine. My room was upgraded. Thanks

8 to 10 mins walk from the nearest metro station. Not really in the midst of the busy city area, but you get a feel of the true local lifestyle and pace of life. Service was excellent worth good breakfast, if only there is a swimming pool. Rainbow village is small, but worth a visit.

Breakfast is very consistent as I regularly stay in this hotel, location is convenient with plenty of food choices nearby

Positive hotel in Taichung city, convenient access from High speed train station, easy check in/out and good breakfasts. Very silent to outdoor noise, but at the same time a lot of noise from staff on your floor. Not too much places around to eat if you wish something different to ********* noodle/rice very bad wifi coverage inside the room

Location is good and services staff is great and they can help to find many things or many places. We can speak mandarin and English fluently then easier to communicate with staffs :) happy to stay here.

The hotel staff is very friendly. Upon departure, they called me to inform me that I left something behind. Highly recommended.

In fact expected better as previously we ever stay at Taipei Tango and it is better experience than now..

Slightly older decoration, but room are big spacious, good breakfast too..
