Good location to night market

The room is clean and tidy, and the service attitude is good!

This is my second time staying here. This time I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a quadruple room with two large double beds. The space is large, and the bathroom is separated into dry and wet areas. The wall-mounted shower set is really convenient. You can also watch YouTube directly on the TV. I will stay here again next time!

The service staff was friendly and explained the hotel facilities clearly. The room was very clean. It was my first time living in a duplex with one household per floor. The room was very large and the air-conditioning was cooler than expected. However, the toilet was quite hot and I felt a little unsafe because there was no roof to block the view.

I was shocked when I couldn't find any information during check-in, but later I found out through the order number that it was available. The hotel responded to environmental protection by not providing disposable items for purchase in the lobby. Most hotels have this policy. It's a really bad policy. Although we brought our own, they should change it to just taking what we need instead of selling them or donating the money to charity. In this way, after spending 2,000 or 3,000 yuan, we still have to spend a little extra to buy supplies. Most people probably don't like it! I chose this hotel again after two years. Last time I came, breakfast was included. Now they give me a 5% discount coupon for the restaurant next door. I don't like this either. Parking is on a first-come, first-served basis. If it is full, please park elsewhere in the lobby or at the door (it will block people walking in and out). The TV in the room has Internet TV, which is good. The bathroom seal is obviously moldy, which is disgusting. Other places are OK. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to the night market. In fact, there are food and drinks along the way. It is not far to walk slowly. The sound insulation is average and most people respect it and it is quiet. I would choose it again.

交通方便.去夜市很方便.可是晚上住宿又不會吵. 房間很乾淨.服務人員解說設施很親切有耐心. 下次有來台中會再來住

一切都還不錯，只差隔音及排水設施可以再改善 但CP值算高了，有機會會再回訪

離逢甲夜市很近 很便利 房間也都很舒適 是會讓人下次再來的選擇

Location It costs us NT$370 and +/- 30min taxi ride from Taichung HSR Stn. Conveniently located 5-10min walk to Fengjia Night market, close by yet not noisy. There're convenient stores and small restaurants nearby if you're too lazy to walk to the night market. Rooms Appreciate the upgrade from 2x Std Double rooms to 2x Std Quadruple rooms. However, the rooms weren't spacious enough to leave a 28-30" luggage open. There's no enclosed wardrobe, but an area with a hanging bar to hold your clothes.  Basin area is spacious and well stocked with toiletries, but would be great if there's a full length mirror. Shower & toilet area is clean. Ample international sockets to charge your devices. Wifi strength was a bit weak, so, can be frustrating if you're searching online or streaming. Overall staff were friendly and helpful. Transportation We hired a driver for our day sightseeing. To move around, we book rides via Uber or you can ask the Front Desk to call a cab for you. Overall we're happy with our stay and will recommend this hotel to anyone travelling to Taichung and want to stay near Fengjia Night market.

I left a good impression on my stay at Discovery Hotel Taichung. First of all, what makes me most happy is that the parking space of the hotel is very spacious, which is a big advantage for self-driving travelers. Convenient parking makes the check-in process easier and more enjoyable, without having to worry about a parking space. The design style of the hotel is simple and modern, giving people a comfortable feeling. It is worth mentioning that the choice of toiletries shows the hotel's emphasis on environmental protection, which is a gratifying highlight. Here, I felt the hotel's dedication to providing a high-quality accommodation experience. In addition, the hotel has an excellent location, very close to Fengjia University. This is certainly a big plus for tourists planning to visit this well-known attraction. Moreover, if you plan to visit the surrounding attractions by car, you will also feel the convenience, because the nearby attractions are within an acceptable driving distance. Although the hotel itself does not provide breakfast service, I found the "Weike Brunch" restaurant, which is only a 2-minute walk away, to be a good alternative. There, I enjoyed a delicious and hearty breakfast, which infused me with energy for the day. Overall, I was very satisfied with my stay at Discovery Hotel Taichung. Excellent parking facilities, simple and modern design, environmentally friendly toiletries and convenient location all make this trip more perfect. I would recommend this hotel to other travelers without hesitation and look forward to staying again in the future.
