Nightcap at Hume Hotel

Staff were fantastic and very welcoming, easy check in service at the bar. Rooms where good and clean, well suited for a family of 4 like us. Our room had two single beds and a double bed. Plenty of parking out the side of hotel as well. Great pub as well.
Meriton Suites Sussex Street

Overall room was clean, however the USB port in the bedroom did not work, the alarm clock was not set and had an extremely annoying buzz, resulting in I had to unplug it anyway. The directions to the parking was extremely poor, no mention of a lift being used or what to expect. I suggested a flyer could be done to answer any questions for customers needing to use the car park service. There was little to no engagement of the staff about this and were only able to restate the poor information that was already given. I felt like a number and not a paying customer. It would seem your attention to details is lacking, and this would flow down from management to floor staff.
175 Hotel Westmead

The staff went above and beyond to accommodate my friend and I, despite multiple changes to our staying dates. Cameron in particular was extremely welcoming and hospitable. Upon arrival the staff offered to take my friend's suitcase up to our room and when we asked, provided us with a microwave and toaster! Our room was well equipped and very clean. Although the hotel's location appears to be far from the city, we had no problem catching trains to and from the hotel. Even trains with limited stops will stop at Westmead station

No lift if you’ve got heavy bags or suitcases! And the rooms are boiling hot with the slowest working fans from the 1900’s. My friend and I woke up every morning struggling for oxygen it was so hot! Rooms and bathrooms are cleaned regularly.. and I mean regularly! No peace and quiet from the cleaners banging about every morning. Wouldn’t recommend the kings cross area, it’s a 30 minute walk to town or a train for about £3.50 one way. However staff did a good job in keeping it clean considering the amount of people staying in such a small hostel. Manager was friendly unless she was taking away alcohol. Doors locked at night for safety which is reassuring and someone is available until 2am if you get locked out. Overall nice hostel but I’ll be moving to base hostel today for some nice air con.
Novotel Sydney Darling Harbour

Darling Harbour
The hotel was acceptable, but the view was not as advertised. We booked a room with a Darling Harbour view and paid extra for it, but nobody mentioned that there was construction happening directly in front of our balcony. If you want a room with a view, I do not recommend this hotel.

Very clean room with a big kingsize bed for me one tourist to sleep on is such a comfort in Sydney. Love the tv and tv programs especially project on Channel 10. The french lady in the office is helpful and will assist you in everything and the cleaners are also friendly to talk to. Overall i like the place and is 10 mins to Kingscross station and just 15 mins walk to Royal Botanic Garden Thank you Bayswater Boutique Lodge. #BayswaterBoutiqueLodge #Sydney #Hotels #Hotel #Australia
