Suzhou Hua Mansion Reviews

We enjoyed our stay in this 300 years old mansion, which is very typical and well restaured. The owner was very friendly. He brought us to the flee market buying chinese antiques. Strongly recommanded for travelers looking for authenticity in this part of China. !!!

1. We walk quite a distance going to the hotel from the Suzhou railway station. Quite far I assume. But if you have budget might can grab a didi. It just located right beside the main road. 2. The room is tidy but is very cold during the spring season as well (we need to open the heater whole night in order to warm ourself). the water heater need time to refill after you finish. 3. One thing I cannot accept is the toilet door is transparent and just one pillar in the middle cannot even cover if someone need to attend the toilet. if is couple it will be very good. 4. The hotel is very very vintage as they preserve the very old mansion style. 5. The staff is very friendly as they help us to carry our luggage all the way to the room. Lady alone is hard to carry the big luggage. 6. You can also rent a hanfu cloth here :)

Highly recommended for traveller who wants to experience the local traditional ancient style accommodation. The architecture is fabulous! And the owner is very nice and helpful! Personally, I learned a lot! Thank you! 甚佳！ ：）

This is a lovely old mansion in the heart of Suzhou's historical district. It's quite literally in the middle of everything, and so it is easy to get anywhere in Suzhou from this location. The building is so charming! I could feel the history when I walked through the many doors. But the hotel has updated to be modern and comfortable for guests. The staff are so helpful and thoughtful! Breakfast was Chinese food and always delicious. If you stay on the ground floor, you can hear footsteps upstairs very clearly, but if the upstairs neighbors are considerate, is not a problem. This is a wonderful place to stay, and I very much recommend it!!

This was a lovely place to stay in a very quiet area. The building and room was very nice and calm. The breakfast was good and the staff was very friendly. The only downside was the bed which was a thin mattress and not very comfortable. Thank you for a great stay!

The 300-year-old Qing Dynasty house and the unexpected guests are really charming. Although there is no soundproofing, it is very quiet at night and you can sleep well. The toilet in the bathroom sometimes has no water level and the anti-odor is not done well. I hope the boss can hire an aunt to clean up the dust and the pillow is too low! ! . The hotel itself is very charming. Occasionally, I hope the boss can consider the concept of leaving space. I want to sit and take pictures but I can't sit and take pictures. The boss's coffee skills need to be improved.

The hotel is not too close to the scenic area. It is a renovation of an old house. The furnishings in the house are quite good and comfortable to live in. The problem is the common problem of old houses. The sound insulation is average and the water heater is relatively small. Overall, I am quite satisfied

The hotel is in a good location, relatively quiet, and very close to scenic spots. The staff in the store are very warm and polite. I will stay here again when I come to Suzhou.

I stayed here during the Chinese New Year, the average price is about 400 per day. The B&B is an old house with a lot of cultural heritage. Every detail is carefully designed by the owner. People who like traditional Chinese culture can come and experience it. The room types and sizes can be found in Figure 1, and the overall feeling of the hotel can be found in Figure 2. The hotel provides breakfast, see Figure 3. The approximate time is agreed upon the day before, and it is prepared the next day. It is not self-service. If there were not so few restaurants outside during the Chinese New Year, breakfast would not have to be ordered. The downside is that the house is an old house, and the supporting facilities are not as good as modern buildings. One is that the insulation is not good. When it rains in winter, the house is still very cold and damp, and girls may not be able to stand it. The second is sound insulation. The floor is made of wood. When people upstairs walk around, the wood will creak, which affects the rest of people on the first floor.

The hotel was built during the Yongzheng period of the Qing Dynasty, and has a history of nearly 300 years. It is a classical old house! It has an ancient flavor! The housekeeper service is warm! The location is convenient, and it is easy to travel. It is very close to the scenic spots!

The weather was fine and I came to Huafu for a short stay. It felt like I was in a paradise. It is one of the few well-preserved controlled and protected buildings in Suzhou. I like the atmosphere here very much. It is quiet and far away from the hustle and bustle.

The room is very spacious. It is a late Qing Dynasty building. The courtyard is deep and has a different world. The service of the front desk guy is very good. He will help with luggage and solve any problems in time. Friends who come to Suzhou for tourism must feel the comfort brought by this old building.

Very special B&B! It is antique and you can immerse yourself in Suzhou~ The house smells good! The B&B is also well decorated~ If I come next time, I will choose to stay here for a few more days!
