"Service: was really good. The receptionist lady gave us a lot of helpful information and was constantly available. I was really grateful for the service. Our rooms were cleaned daily, we got fresh water and towels. She also helped us get a ride to the train station, as there are limited drivers in this area (plan your departure ahead of time). Room: the room has an amazing view. We enjoyed the balcony so much that we spent a lot of time there just taking in the scenery and enjoying ourselves. At night it looked even better. We visited during peak season (international workers holiday) and still the room was relatively quiet at night. Everything was exceptionally clean. The rain shower was appreciated as well. We also got vanity kits and so on. The bathroom is a little small for people over 190 cm (you should be fine if you are shorter). The bed was comfortable and big. The only thing we missed was a Minibar (or fridge). The TV unfortunately wasn't a smart TV. Location: the hotel is located in the central city. You won't miss a thing. There are restaurants nearby and all sorts of scenic spots. If you go outside, turn left and walk until the end of the street you'll even find a shop offering coffee ☕ (which is quite rare)."

"Fenghuang ancient city is a amazing, nice place. However, taking taxi is a bad experience. If your group is more than 2 persons, recommend to taking city bus directly without delay. The hotel staff met us at the bus station and fetch us to hotel. Location was very convenient as it's near to the Hongqiao Bridge. Our room for 4 persons is small as we have 4 large luggages and not much walkway. The room was comfortable, and had a fantastic balcony with amazing view."

"New and clean accommodation, The location of the accommodation is not on the river but near the river. Add a little money and you can choose a room with a river view. It is near Nanhua Bridge, so there is no noise from the pubs at night. When you arrive at Fenghuang Station, the accommodation will let you pick up a Maglav ticket, sit and enjoy the view, go to the station near the accommodation and let the car pick you up, help you carry your luggage. Importantly, the accommodation has free local costumes, you can change into them for walking around or taking pictures without any conditions. Before leaving, they also gave us snacks, helped us carry our luggage to the taxi."

"This hotel is amazing! I can’t recommend it enough!! We booked this hotel very last minute as our other hotel was full of bugs (Qinglian Riverside Light Luxury Hostel, do not book that one!). The staff here are so welcoming and made us feel like we had been friends for a long time, they gave us recommendations, helped us with everything that we needed, even cleaned our clothes for us! We stayed during the Dragon Boat festival, they gave us Zhongzi and they knew we liked beer so they gave us some to celebrate!!❤️ This hotel also has many cute pets that they let us play with, it was so fun! The location is also very convenient and the breakfast was sooo delicious! I still dream about the breakfast there :,) Please if you want to stay in 凤凰古城 stay at this hotel!!!!! It feels very personal and you will feel like family ❤️❤️"

"The people here were really lovely. We caught a cab here from the train station, and the driver wasn't sure exactly where they were located so he called them and they met us up at the road (not far from the hotel but appreciated). They saw our big bags and upgraded us to the ground level room so we didn't have to lug our bags up stairs. When we left they helped take our bags up to the road and flagged down a taxi to take us to the train station. The location is great, being in the centre of the old town. It's also really close to the tower, making it easy to figure out how to get back to your room. Our room overlooked the river and we had a little balcony, where we had some tea. Everything was nice and clean. I'd recommend staying here if going to Phoenix ancient town"

From the moment I stepped into the bluestone courtyard, I was completely conquered by this treasure B&B! This B&B is extremely cost-effective and has an excellent location. It takes 6-8 minutes to walk to Fenghuang Bridge to view the panoramic view of the ancient city. You can see the misty morning view of Tuojiang River when you go out of the door, which truly interprets the poetic meaning of ”Spring sleep without knowing the dawn”. The hostess is warm and hospitable, beautiful, and amiable. I can't forget it. It was drizzling in the misty Fenghuang Ancient Town that day. The hostess held an umbrella for me and took my luggage in my hand, just like going home. The housekeeper brother was super considerate. Not only did he help us upgrade the room type with a viewing terrace, but he also hand-painted a map of the secrets of the ancient city to avoid the crowds. The room is a healing log style, the bedding is so soft that it feels like sleeping in the clouds, and the Chinese herbal bath bag in the bathroom is a fairy experience! The most unforgettable thing is drinking morning tea in the courtyard in the morning, watching the sun slowly climb up the ancient city wall, and then I understand the true meaning of the word ”Spring Dawn” - it has both the vigor of spring and the tranquility of dawn. Next time I come to Fenghuang, I will definitely continue this gentle time hidden in the ancient city!"

"We stayed for 3 nights. As it is the off-season now, we basically booked the whole B&B, which was a bit embarrassing 😂😂. The location is a little hard to find, but the owner will call ahead to greet you. The room balcony has a beautiful view. The boss is very nice and always answers any questions I have. During the trip, I asked him to recommend transportation, restaurants and travel photography shops to help me avoid any pitfalls. The boss also helped me buy tickets for the ”Phoenix Show”, which were cheaper than outside."

"Room was updated after asking for a river view, without charge. The view in the evening light is marvelous. The room is a bit cold in cold weather, because the balcony door leaks cold air inside, could add a cotton bag or in the gap. No television. Toilet is a modern, warm and washing facility. Bath towels one time use, sealed in bag. Nice art pieces and pictures in the room and corridor and steps, good culture impression. Owner very kind to introduce the city."
