Spa Hotels in Zhangjiajie

Great location, convenient for going 天门山, walkable distance from hotel to cable car port. If is going to 国家森林公园, is about 1hr car ride away. Spacious room with AI controlling lightning etc. wet and dry toilet is separated. There is also plenty of shop/ food choice around the hotel. Was given free breakfast for a day. Might be a little noisy when there is airplane fly pass (but only short period). Also due to hotel is right infront a kindergarten, it can have some noise in the morning. There is free pick up and drop off ride from train station.

I had an amazing stay at this resort! Lu lu was super helpful and made the experience seamless. The restaurant was great, especially for breakfast. The hot spring bath was a highlight - the staff made sure that the water temperature was exactly to our liking and provided hot tea and towels for our use. The grounds are well-maintained and beautiful. The only negative I could say is that they did not offer massage services when I stayed, even though it was advertised online. Maybe because it was the low season or because they forgot to update the listing?

Great girls at the reception. They helped with all the issues, gave a map of the park. The sockets in the hotel are only for plugs with two and three plugs. There are no European sockets, get your adapters ready. There is a local style breakfast + fried eggs, from 6.30 to 8.00. There are toiletries and a kettle in the room. There is no tea or coffee, stock up. The location is a little out of the way of that tiny patch of hotels at the entrance to the park. But you can walk all the way in 10 minutes. The main city is a 20-25 minute taxi ride. Take a taxi only through Didi. No local taxi drivers, just a brazen, shameless rip-off of those who have just arrived and do not know the prices.

The landlady and the boss are very enthusiastic ❤️, it feels like home, and they will care about whether to come back for dinner every day. The breakfast is also very delicious. Two aunts cook it by themselves. Just tell them what you want to eat and they will cook it immediately🥰 Also when we went there The weather is a bit cold, the heating is equipped, I feel very comfortable, the environment is hygienic, the scenery on the terrace is beautiful, and it is super convenient to go up the mountain to Zimugang Ticket Station! There are also massages and restaurants nearby. On the last day, the boss introduced us to a restaurant for lunch! That wild mushroom pot is simply top notch! We are very satisfied! If I have the opportunity to go to Zhangjiajie again, I will choose this B&B. I highly recommend everyone to try it.

The hotel is quite old, and all the facilities in the room are very old. The hotel's parking lot was not found, and it happened that there was a free free parking space near the road near the hotel entrance. It costs 10 yuan to take a taxi to Forest Park, and it takes 28 minutes to walk. There are many lively restaurants near the hotel at night, and there are barbecues.

This trip coincided with the peak of the summer vacation, and the price of accommodation generally rose. When booking the inn, I saw that the price of Masangshu was very affordable, and it was still a 4-diamond standard, but the evaluation of the guests was not a lot of a little awkward. After arriving at the store, I saw the inn room. Fortunately, the choice was very correct! The room was large, it was very convenient to spread out the box to pack things, and the room was very clean. Although the inn also receives tour groups, it is very quiet at night. It is estimated that the boss arranged individual guests and tour groups on the floor. And this reservation also includes breakfast, just on the first floor of the inn, affordable and convenient! I stayed for three nights this time, because the inn received a tour group full room, and I couldn't place an order on the platform on the last night. The proprietress was very good and specially adjusted a room. Generally speaking, I was very satisfied with the reservation of Masangshu Inn! And Ma Sangshu in Zhangjiajie has a very moving story, everyone can come to Zhangjiajie to decrypt ha! !

I booked this hotel for my mom since my husband and I stayed there a few years ago and had an amazing experience. However, she said that no one would speak to her in any English (when we were there, everyone was very helpful and the manager was foreign). She also had a bad experience with a massage she booked. She thought she could charge it to the room, but the woman demanded cash, then once she paid, wouldn’t let her out of the room until she gave an extra tip. Apparently that was the only word she said in English the whole time. I’ve never been expected to tip in China, so this seems like they’re taking advantage of foreign guests who may not know better. The hotel is very conveniently located within walking distance of the national park, but the concierge tried to get her to take a taxi for way too much to a different gate. Luckily, she called me to ask if that was worth it and I told her, “no, don’t take a ¥50 taxi to another gate when you’re less than 1km from one of the main gates.” It just made her start to feel uncomfortable that everyone in the hotel was trying to trick her. It’s a shame because the hotel is lovely and the breakfast is actually quite good, which my mom said is still the case. But she had a very mixed experience where the hotel was great, but the staff didn’t make her feel well taken care of. Very different from my husband’s and my experience a few years ago.

Hotel is in a convenient location - about a 10-15 min walk to the east gate entrance to ZJJ park and a 5 min walk from the bus transfer station. There are some good local eats and massages around as well. Hotel cleanliness was slightly below average - there is dust in the crevices of the floors/beds and the bedroom counters. Floor is also uneven, and the chairs have marks on them. Beds were average - could feel the springs to an extent. Hotel service was not very informative - none of the staff were able to provide any guidance on touring the park, and the hotel did not seem to have a map available. The hotel has no hot spring despite it being in the name. Massages were also 5x the price of a local spot across the street.
