"This hotel is really nice. The lobby is very grand. The ladies at the check-in desk are very enthusiastic. They will proactively provide hot tea when it rains. I booked a room without windows but was proactively upgraded. The service is first-rate, the breakfast is good, nutritious and delicious, all home-cooked dishes, the restaurant staff is friendly and the wontons are delicious. The room has a very high ceiling, which is very spacious and comfortable to live in. There is also a check-in courtyard upstairs. The environment is beautiful and the air is fresh. It was a very good stay experience!"

"My stay at Jinzechang Cultural Tourism Hotel in Taiyuan was excellent. The hotel's decor beautifully showcases the Jin merchant culture, and it's clean and elegant. The room was spacious and quiet, making for a very comfortable stay. I especially want to commend Annie at the front desk; her attitude was incredibly warm and welcoming. She handled check-in efficiently and patiently explained nearby attractions and travel routes. She even proactively helped us with our luggage, paying great attention to detail. The breakfast spread was extensive and tasty, and the location is super convenient, very close to the South Station. Overall, it offers great value for money, and I highly recommend it. I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit."

"The breakfast here is probably the best I've ever had! So many options and really hearty dishes, no wonder everyone who visits Shanxi needs a nap afterwards 💤. Service was good, though they weren't very flexible with upgrades this time. Also, the projection in the movie room wasn't working properly… The welcome fruit was just okay, didn't really fancy it. The first Starbucks coffee on the first day of my stay was a nice touch though – perfect for an early morning pick-me-up."

Guest User對比全國品牌連鎖的高星酒店，湖畔設計用心，小到洗護用品也讓人舒服，餐廳小哥和煮麪師傅特別好，熱情介紹各種餐品，對於自己的手工包子也是滿滿誠意推介👍畢竟出行，讓胃開心也是很重要的；酒店洗衣房洗衣和烘乾設施太棒了，即使是自助，工作人員看到有烘好的衣服也會幫助疊好；出行省博、晉祠、植物園打車都不遠；最近天氣實在太熱🥵中午體感35度+，酒店冷氣很足，呆著都有點不想動了😆這裏還能定鐘點房，價格合適，對於晚間高鐵出行的家庭太棒了，可以吃晚餐洗浴後舒服出發下一站。滿滿喜歡💕唯一要注意的是，沖涼房玻璃房是透明的，且小朋友關門時不小心容易夾碰到手指，要注意哦

MimaxiaomaiRoom: The room was very spacious with a wet/dry separation design. We booked a family room with one 1.8m bed and one 1.2m bed. There was also a sofa next to it that could accommodate a child around fourth grade, which is perfect for families with two children.
Service: The staff were very service-oriented. As soon as they saw us entering with two suitcases, they immediately came over to help push them to the front desk. The room included three breakfasts, and upon check-in, seeing our two kids, they instantly offered complimentary breakfast for them as well. Even the executive lounge access was extended from three to four people. Although it was just some snacks and drinks in the evening, it was a welcome treat for us after a long day of travel and arriving at the hotel. It was just right to freshen up a bit before heading out to explore the night market.

It's surrounded by numerous shops and restaurants, making transportation, dining, and shopping very convenient. The rooms are spacious, fully equipped, and include a large bathtub. They are clean and hygienic, and the service is warm and attentive. The breakfast is varied and plentiful, featuring Shanxi specialties. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay. The free shuttle service to and from the station is excellent; thumbs up!

Let me focus on the most unpleasant service experience this time.
We booked a family room, which included three breakfasts. Our child had an upset stomach the night before and was throwing up and had diarrhea all night. So, in the morning, only the two adults went to eat, thinking of getting a takeaway box for the child. This is where the unpleasant experience began. The person in black, who seemed to be a supervisor at the restaurant, said that if we had already started dining, takeaway boxes wouldn't be provided (at this point, we thought we only had two breakfasts included). Later, after checking the order, we confirmed that the family room included three breakfasts. We went back to the restaurant reception to ask for a takeaway box, clarifying upfront that our room included three breakfasts and that we wanted to pack something because our child was unwell. Even then, the front desk staff said that after 6:30 AM, it's recommended to dine in, and takeaway boxes are generally not provided. She also claimed it was busy and she couldn't authorize it (even though there were no guests waiting at the front desk at that time) and that only the supervisor could approve it. I had to wait for her to call the supervisor over again before I finally got a takeaway box.
Throughout this entire process, both of them had cold faces and showed absolutely no service意识 (service awareness). This definitely deserves a negative review!!!

Guest UserI recently stayed at your hotel and would like to extend my sincere praise to Front Office Managers Laura, Andy, and Aria. Their professional and meticulous service, with each manager excelling in their respective roles, made for an excellent experience.
On the day of my check-in, the hotel was fully booked. Manager Laura proactively addressed my accommodation needs, patiently communicated and coordinated, and, despite the high occupancy, actively worked to secure a complimentary upgrade to a deluxe suite for me. Her service was thoughtful and warm. Manager Andy handled the check-in process efficiently and rigorously, meticulously verifying my information and proactively explaining the hotel facilities, breakfast details, and parking policies. His professionalism and composed demeanor reflected excellent service standards. Manager Aria focused on the details, arranging for complimentary welcome fruits and additional drinking water in my room, and promptly responded to my ad-hoc inquiries with a gentle and attentive attitude.
The three managers demonstrated excellent teamwork and enthusiastic service. Even during a busy period, they maintained high-quality service, fully showcasing Marriott's outstanding service standards and management capabilities. This stay truly felt like a home away from home and left a lasting impression.
My heartfelt thanks to all three managers for their dedicated service. I wish your hotel continued prosperity and an enduring excellent reputation!

My stay at the InterContinental Taiyuan was decent overall, offering good value for money among Taiyuan's high-end hotels. The location is absolutely unbeatable, right in the Changfeng Business District, next to Mixc City. It's incredibly convenient for shopping, dining, and retail therapy, and also very close to the convention center, so getting around is no problem at all. Across the street are the Taiyuan Museum and the Bronze Museum.
The room's view exceeded my expectations. From the high-floor, floor-to-ceiling windows, I could directly see the Fen River's night view, which really set a fantastic ambiance. The bedding was very comfortable, neither too soft nor too hard, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The bathroom had plenty of hot water, making for a great washing experience. Breakfast offered a rich variety, including authentic freshly-made *Daoxiao Mian* (knife-sliced noodles), catering to local tastes with fresh ingredients, perfectly satisfying daily dining needs.
However, there were quite a few downsides. The room's storage space was a bit small, making it feel cramped when trying to place belongings. Even stranger, the TV's audio channel was in the bathroom, so if someone was showering, you couldn't really hear anything. On the first day of my stay, it even broke down, but thankfully, repairs were prompt.

Guest UserBuilding 5 is an older building with taller floors, but the facilities are average. However, the price is still quite low. Building 9 is very new and much more expensive.
The best part is the service and the environment; it's truly amazing. The setting is fantastic; it's like a large park, with pavilions, terraces, and a large lawn, perfect for weddings, all beautifully manicured.
The service is even better. Because the campus is so large, the hotel provides a shuttle bus that delivers to the swimming pool and the back gate of the Jinci Temple promptly. It's fantastic. The swimming pool is also excellent; five stars.
