Hotel location is very good, taxi is very convenient The front desk service is good, check out before three o'clock is very good. But as soon as I entered the door, I smelled a strong rag. It smelled bad. When I checked out the next day, I could smell it in a faint way. It may also have something to do with the peak season. The room is a duplex building, with a living room and a washroom on the first floor and a sleeping area on the second floor. It is quite unique and I like it. There are restaurants around that sell everything. I bought Juewei duck neck nearby and ate pork meatball soup from Lao Haizi. There is a large-size women's clothing store called Don't Wake Me Up nearby. I went in and bought a short skirt for 149 yuan. I bought two pairs of pants from the 10 Women's Clothing Store. One pair was 199 black chiffon and I wore it directly on the top. The other pair of sky blue jeans was 299 yuan. The location is good, quiet in a busy city. I walked to May Day Square and Shanxi Hotel at night. I bought a pair of black slippers at the Causeway Bay Night Market, which were very comfortable to wear. I bought two breads. The store is called 2 Yuan Bakery, but it doesn't seem worth it. The actual price of bread is 3.5 or 4 yuan, which is smaller than the one in the display cabinet. I finished it in a few bites. There is a Ximei pea noodles nearby, and I ate Hainan Qingliangbu. I also visited Laoshu Street Food Street and Bell Tower Pedestrian Street. I ate Laobai's beef meatball noodles on the food street. I asked for it to be slightly spicy, but it was very spicy. After eating, I passed by a Qu's spicy skewers, went in and took some, ordered a portion with very small amount of noodles, and took a bottle of Xi'an soda for 4 yuan, spending 55, which didn't feel worth it. A skewers restaurant near Liuxiang cost 38. Overall, I feel that skewers in Taiyuan are expensive. I like this hotel very much, the hygiene is very good, I personally like to drink water, and water is free. I will stay here next time I come to Taiyuan.

Excellent location directly across the road from Maoye Plaza which is one of Taiyuan’s best shopping and dining destinations. The location means there’s a bit of traffic noise, and my room also had a bit of noise from the restaurant kitchen which was straight above, but it was all tolerable, especially for the convenience of the location. The room was very comfortable well-equipped, but cleanliness was a little down on what it should have been. Reception staff were most friendly and helpful, very quickly and happily helping when I had difficulty connecting to wifi. The breakfast was very good, with a healthy and tasty range of Chinese vegetable and meat dishes, salads, fruits, and more. I would very happily stay here again!

The hotel's location is perfect, perfect for both Taiyuan locals and tourists. The Manxin Hotel's design and decor are feminine, with bright colors, giving it a refreshing feel. Cleanliness is excellent, and I highly commend every staff member for their attentive service. Water and snacks are readily available throughout the hotel. I left my charger behind for personal reasons, and the hotel's housekeeper patiently searched for it all day before finally finding it in the hallway. Thank you so much! I'll definitely stay here again.

Let's start with the downsides: the soundproofing in the room is terrible! We also had a child next door who wouldn't sleep; he was making a racket until 3 AM, and we could hear him clearly all night, which was incredibly disruptive to our rest.
