The Parkview hotel is a five star hotel with modest price. The location js perfect and convenient. The hotel rooms are extremely well maintained. My room had a direct view of Yingze park and the night scene was spectacular. The hotel’s breakfast buffet features an amazing collection of local delicacies and it was hard not to overeat. The Chinese restaurants serve outstanding dishes. The front desk staff are polite and helpful. Ms Wang Zewei was especially helpful. I would absolutely return time.

Came to Taiyuan on a business trip and chose this hotel nearby. The hotel staff is good. My computer wireless card is broken, and I sent an email in a hurry. The response is very timely, especially Manager Li, who found me as soon as he learned about the situation, and found the network cable and the USB flash drive. He was busy and thought about the guests' needs and was anxious about the customers' needs. There are many types of breakfast. It is clean and tidy. The train is at 7 o'clock, and I went to have breakfast at 6 o'clock. It was unexpected. When I saw me packing breakfast, the waiter was very considerate to remind me whether I needed a plastic bag. The location of the hotel is not in the city's commercial center. If it is not convenient to travel by bus, there are no snacks around, but there are better restaurants in the hotel. The defect is that the aisle on the second floor has the smell of oily smoke in the restaurant downstairs. I don't know if there is any on the third floor. Could not fault this place. We had booked a bigger room, but it was on the main street, so decided not to take the risk. A slight downgrade was organised swiftly. Room very comfortable, with a nice big bathroom. A well equipped gym where I seemed to be the only user. Breakfast passable with toast, fruits, cereal, coffee and baked goods. We extended our stay to 4 nights. The service at the front desk, room servicing, breakfast was exemplary. The room maid left me a lovely book marker as she saw my lonely planet. (btw, LP mentions a restaurant at the start of the bu xing jie; I wouldn't bother).Hotel is 1km west of Tiyuguan metro station on line 2. Line 1 yet to open. Two stations north brings you 400m from Bell Tower Street, a bu xing jie where there are heaps of great eating places. One station north of Tiyuguan, then east as far as possible gets you to the old Taiyuan train station. Buses 308 or 804 (slow trip) gets you to JinCi Si; well worth the trip even just to see a 3,000yo tree

Yye-jfGoing to the hotel, the handsome guy (Xiao Guo butler) from the concierge department came to help pull the suitcase, took us to check in, and also helped to take the luggage to the room, and enthusiastically answered our N many questions halfway. Li Yan, the beauty of the concierge department, was warm and hospitable, and took the initiative to help with the registration of the station, warm reminder.
The hotel is located in the downtown area and it is very convenient to go anywhere. Booked a business twin room, the room is large, multiple partitions, the bedding is clean and comfortable, there are Huanhuan fruits, Starbucks coffee, bed opening service. Especially worth recommending is the hotel's buffet breakfast, there are many varieties, will not regret it, awesome 👍👍

It is opposite a shopping mall with everything you need such as coffee shop, fast food etc. Conveniece store also just across the street. Check-in was easy and straight-forward and the hotel is clean and modern. The room was well-appointed with everything I needed and the best thing was the amazing bed, which was super-comfortable!
Breakfast is excellent and has both Western and Chinese buffet options. Plenty of choice here!
Service was fantastic for this stay. The second day we had a power blackout for an hour or so because of engineers across the street. The staff dealt with it very well and made sure I was looked after. Swimming pool is good too. Recommend.

The hotel boasts a range of high-quality amenities including a SPA, gym and excellent swimming pool. The downstairs restaurant is also excellent, especially the breakfast buffet, which has many options available. The rooms are well-appointed with modern furniture and comfortable beds. The rooms are large and offer plenty of space too.
Staff are very helpful and attentive and also speak good English. Highly recommended and my favorite hotel In Taiyuan!

The location means there’s a bit of traffic noise, and my room also had a bit of noise from the restaurant kitchen which was straight above, but it was all tolerable, especially for the convenience of the location. The room was very comfortable well-equipped, but cleanliness was a little down on what it should have been. Reception staff were most friendly and helpful, very quickly and happily helping when I had difficulty connecting to wifi. The breakfast was very good, with a healthy and tasty range of Chinese vegetable and meat dishes, salads, fruits, and more. I would very happily stay here again!

The first time we went to Taiyuan, we chose the La Quinta Wyndham Hotel, which was closest to us.
During the hotel check-in process, including dining, there were some minor problems because there were many stranded customers at the time. I also got angry with the hotel staff. At this time, the restaurant manager Chen Feilong gave very professional help and service, and there was also a tall hotel manager who helped us solve all the problems, allowing us to feel warmth and love in hunger and cold.
Although the sudden bad weather made the trip a little unsatisfactory, Wyndham's professional and warm service made up for all the regrets and gave a five-star rating!

AAnonymous UserShanxi Hotel must be given a five-star rating. We arrived very late at night, and the hotel was already lit. The courtyard was ancient and the hotel lobby was magnificent. The service staff checked in very efficiently and quickly, and the service attitude was very excellent. The breakfast and Chinese buffet was very high-end, and the food and drink met the tastes of all parts of the north and south. It is very close to various attractions. We strolled to the bell tower. On one side of the hotel, you can enter Wenying Park, where you can see the scene of Shanxi people exercising and relaxing. The hotel helped to take the luggage to the car after checking out, and the service was thoughtful. The important point is that we lived on the second floor and it was very quiet, without any noisy sounds, and the sound insulation was very good. The shower was a little smaller, but you can call the front desk. It was too cold. It rained on the day we came, and we didn’t pay much attention to bathing, so we just took a shower. Satisfied, and will tell friends who come to Taiyuan to choose Shanxi Hotel first.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very clean. Although it is on the first floor, it is not noisy at all. When you enter the room, it looks very straight. The room is white but not dirty at all. My sister is very nice. There are instant noodles in the room. I don’t like eating them. You can get dumplings here. It’s not too close to the South Station and can be reached in 10 minutes. It’s also on a major road. You don’t have to turn around and walk straight out of the community to get there.

GGuest UserThe location to the hotel is really something, but luckily the hotel staff came to pick us up from where the taxi stopped. The room was okay but in terms of cleanliness, there's still a lot to be done especially in the bathroom. If I were staying for longer it would be a problem using the wc but since it was just a night to catch a flight I'm not too mad. The bathroom was spacious enough and the room as well even though there were two beds, which was good. The overall stay was okay, we had to go back into town and the lovely Mr Lee was very helpful, he drove us back to the roadside to get a taxi and when we got back luckily we met him after the map took us to a wrong route and drove us back to the hotel. The airport was about 6 minutes from the hotel and even though we both had different departure times, one early in the morning and myself late afternoon, we were both taken to the airport as well. I think if the road to the hotel is fixed and they can do some real scrubbing and cleaning it would be a really good place.
