"The location is fantastic! Right outside the hotel, you can rent electric bikes at a discounted rate, which was perfect for our family to explore Sun Moon Lake and see the Nine Frogs. 😎 However, the breakfast area really needs a major overhaul. The carpet in the restaurant looks like it hasn't been updated or cleaned in years, with stains everywhere. As for the basement swimming pool and children's playroom, they were truly disappointing. The environment is so old and dirty, and there was a strong musty smell from the air conditioning."

"Every year, I take my parents to Sun Moon Lake, and this time I was really looking forward to staying at The Lalu. Although we had dinner at the hotel's Chinese restaurant, the noise from a nearby private room significantly impacted our dining experience. Aside from that, all the hotel staff were incredibly warm and welcoming. The reservation staff were very thorough in their explanation before our trip, but they didn't mention that some limited-edition dishes in the restaurant needed to be pre-ordered, which left me quite disappointed during dinner. Afterwards, due to various issues with our Chinese restaurant dining experience, a hotel manager personally stepped in to appease and resolve the situation. This showed that the five-star hotel truly maintained its high standards in customer service. I would definitely consider staying here again if I have the chance."
