Excellent location, the best hotel around Sun Moon Lake. However, the floor-to-ceiling windows aren't well-sealed and soundproofed, but the view is unbeatable. I recommend booking a higher floor; lower-floor lake view rooms have trees that might obstruct the view. The service was superb, and the food at the hotel restaurant was also great.

My last vacation stay at Han Lai Sun Moon Lake was just average. This time, I switched to The Lalu, and it was a fantastic decision. The staff across all departments were incredibly well-trained, polite, and friendly. What truly surprised me was that the parking attendants even had my car washed sparkling clean! I genuinely felt like a valued guest, right at home. Highly recommendable and truly worthy of praise! 👍👏
