"The room was spacious with a fantastic view of the Ganjiang River and Tengwang Pavilion at night. The breakfast spread was excellent, and they even had a special children's area with cute mini-breads. The staff's service attitude was exceptional; the doorman proactively opened car doors and helped with luggage, and the housekeeping aunties even remembered guests' requests and passed them on to the next shift. Such a high level of service awareness is rare to find in domestic hotels these days."

"The room is on the 21st floor, and you can see the Ganjiang River and the Bayi Bridge from the window. The service attitude of the waiter was great. Did a load of laundry for us. Healthy evening porridge (mung bean, eight treasures) is delivered to the room every night. There are some snacks available in the lobby. The room is managed by ”Xiaodu” intelligent system. Clean and comfortable. This is my second time staying at Huanzhi."

But old doesn't mean bad; established hotels need to keep up with the times, focusing on detailed service and offerings. In fact, I quite like this kind of vibe. Compared to my stay at the Crowne Plaza Fuchun Resort Xiangyang, my experience this time was much better. So, even if that one looked new, it was useless and still got a bad review. On the day of check-in, an employee named Rita contacted me to send the hotel's location and confirm room requirements. The front desk staff's appearance, professionalism, and ability to handle situations were all on point. Their service procedures and communication were smooth and flawless. The concierge was also very attentive. The hotel's fragrance definitely had that classic hotel scent. As for the environment, the greenery was a bit lacking, but that's not important; I'm not sleeping on the grass. I'm particular about room cleanliness, especially the linens, so I thoroughly inspected everything upon entering the room. It met my standards. The countertops were also very clean, and the carpet was relatively clean with no overlooked spots. For breakfast the next day, the room only included two servings. For my child's portion, there was absolutely no fuss, no waiting for even a minute – it was a smooth process. After the meal, I also redeemed the hotel's complimentary lobby bar drink voucher (the lobby bar setup is really much better than hotels putting in a Luckin Coffee nowadays). The rotary knob by the bed, the telephone in the bathroom, the wall lamp with a pull cord – overall, I have a soft spot for classic hotels. Not bad at all."

"My stay at the hotel was very good, I am very happy with my stay, staff were nice enough to even bump me to a bigger room. Location is great, right outside the metro, room was kept clean and breakfast options were good. They also have a laundry room to wash clothes and a fitness room to get that run in. Overall, the hotel is great if you are looking for affordability."

"Highly recommend this hotel when visiting Nanchang, especially for families with children. We stayed in their family suite, which was spacious and well-divided into two comfortable rooms. The service was excellent, and the 4-person breakfast was perfect for families with two kids. The breakfast spread was extensive and served until quite late. They even gave us a small children's toy. They were also very accommodating when we needed a late check-out due to a typhoon. Very satisfied, we'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Nanchang. They also have a kids' play area."

"The hotel was perfect for my kids, they loved being able to see the bridge and the Ferris wheel at night. The customer service was also great – they even gave us a complimentary breakfast! We were planning on visiting the Jiangxi Provincial Museum later, and the hotel kindly allowed us a late checkout, which was much appreciated. Highly recommend!"
