DDaidaidedapingguoThe service was warm and attentive, and the room was spacious with a view of the Gan River. The breakfast ceramic pot soup (Waguan Tang) tasted great, and the coffee was good too! The complimentary afternoon tea for two was a nice touch; it was very thoughtful to offer fruits and snacks after a day out. Plus, the hotel has a gym! It's also very close to all the city attractions, making transportation convenient.

From check-in, Li Yuan (李媛）was friendly and attentive, swiftly handled requests, offered helpful tips for my stay and local areas and even answered my questions outside of her work time. She also offered a complimentary room upgrade, a room with great river view. Thanks to her genuine hospitality.
The self-service laundry service provided by the hotel is very helpful and convenient. The breakfast has a good variety of freshly prepared food.
The location is unbeatable. It’s steps away from the iconic Tengwang Pavilion, and a short walk to the metro (Line 1), riverside promenades, shopping streets (Zhongshan Road), and fantastic local restaurants.
Highly recommended for both leisure and business travelers!

DDavid AyrVery modern and superb facilities. Very reasonable price indeed considering the extremely high quality of the rooms and of the excellent service. Although the staff are not fluent in English, they use translation sofrware to supplement their English language knowledge and the staff are extremely helpful. The note that I sent to the staff thanking them says it all (see below). I highly recommend this hotel!

Your assistance went beyond the call of duty and I admire and respect you and the dedication you have to your work. Last night and this morning colleagues helped me with getting a taxi to catch my train, making sure that all things were in place to make it easy for me. MM353725****The hotel can park for free in the Wanshou Palace parking lot, which is very convenient to go anywhere. The price can be compared between members and the platform, which is cheaper to use, and the twin bed with a large courtyard is upgraded; the next day, the price comparison will be followed by the upgrade of the room for one night. Compared with the previous hotel, the room was not upgraded, and the flower room was really user-friendly. There is also a free mini in the room. The child likes to bloom in the flower, and the front desk gave a few more bottles. I will come back next time and I am very satisfied.

Overview:
I recently stayed at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang and found it to be a pleasant and comfortable experience, offering great value for both business and leisure travelers. Located conveniently in the Honggutan District, the hotel is well-positioned for access to local attractions, shopping centers, and the business hub of the city.
The Good:
1. Comfortable Rooms:
The rooms were modern, clean, and well-maintained, with all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the room featured an ergonomic work desk, which was great for getting some work done. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches like USB ports and plenty of outlets.
2. Facilities & Amenities:
The hotel offers a well-equipped fitness center, which I made use of during my stay. It’s not a full gym, but it has enough equipment for a quick workout. The business center and meeting rooms also looked professional and seemed perfect for business guests. Complimentary Wi-Fi was fast and stable throughout my stay.
3. Breakfast:
The complimentary breakfast buffet was a highlight, offering a good mix of Western and Chinese dishes. From fresh fruit and pastries to local delicacies like dumplings, there was something for every taste. The breakfast area was clean, and the staff was attentive to refilling items and clearing tables.
4. Service:
The staff at Hampton by Hilton Nanchang were friendly and helpful. Though not everyone was fluent in English, they made a genuine effort to assist with all requests. I felt welcomed throughout my stay, and check-in/check-out was a breeze.
5. Location:
The hotel’s location in Honggutan District made it convenient for accessing both the business district and local attractions like Tengwang Pavilion and Nanchang’s Star of Ferris Wheel. Taxis and public transportation were easy to access from the hotel, making it convenient to explore the city.
The Drawbacks:
1. Room Size:
While the rooms were clean and comfortable, they weren’t particularly spacious, especially if you’re staying for a longer period or with family. It was fine for a solo traveler or a couple, but families might feel a bit cramped.
2. Limited Dining Options:
While the breakfast was great, the hotel’s on-site dining options beyond breakfast were somewhat limited. There is a small restaurant, but for more varied meal options, you’ll need to explore nearby restaurants or order delivery.
3. Noise:
Depending on your room’s location, you might hear some street noise, especially during busy times. It wasn’t overwhelming but could be noticeable for light sleepers.

GGuest UserThis is my second stay at the Primus and I believe there will be another in my near future. I love stay-cations as a way to unwind and rest from work. This particular trip was for my birthday and the staff was so kind to help us celebrate. From the decorations to the pool to the huge tub (I love baths!) and yummy breakfast. It was just the celebration I was looking for. So thankful they are just a Didi away! They even decorated my friend’s room too!
The locker rooms have a steam room but it’s not constantly on. You have to ask them to turn it on and it takes awhile to heat up so, if you know you want to use it let the staff know well ahead of time. You can get massages but I have a regular place I love in the city that isn’t as pricey so I just go there.
Sometimes breakfast is amazing and sometimes it’s ok…depends on what’s available I think.
The best part! A miracle! I locked my passport and wallet in the room safe. Something I rarely do. Well, 3 days later I received a call from the front desk telling me they found my belongs in the room. I hadn’t even realized! Smh…I was so grateful. I ran over immediately and was given everything (after a few questions to make sure it was really me ). Nothing was missing! I’m still in shock and awe. Thanks again to the man at the front desk with excellent English and a kind demeanor who helped with my wallet. Really everyone was wonderful and it really makes a difference. I tell everyone to stay there and it’s because of the great service.
Thanks Primus! I’m sure I’ll be back before work starts up again in February 2023. 新年快乐🎉🎆

AAnonymous UserThe room is very clean, the front desk service is very considerate, the hotel is not far from Wanshou Palace, August 1st Nanchang Uprising Memorial Hall, Tengwang Pavilion, and can be reached on foot. It is very convenient to eat nearby. What is rare is that there is a parking lot. It should be noted that the road to the hotel for friends who drive by themselves is relatively narrow, so you need to pay attention to safety when driving.
