Friendly and nice staff at the front-desk. Very kind and helpful.

Unfortunately I didn’t get the chance to dine but perhaps next time.

Unfortunately the gym is going though renovation and cannot use it during my 4 night stay.
4. Location
Great location for shuttle bus pick up and drop off as well as taxis, but if you are looking to wander around. Unfortunately not the best location as you need a car or taxi. This has been emphasised a lot, so best to take on board this advice if you looking for convenience nearby.
5. Laundry
Unfortunately, you have to pay extra per item on laundry. No self service laundry.
6. Check-out
Smooth and quick. Staff was polite at check-out to wish the rest of our journey to be smooth and well.
Feedback/Improvement
I think the service and hospitality from front-desk and their rotation on the front door is nice and different from other hotels. Unfortunately, I haven’t encountered anyone who used English with me but it isn’t a problem. I was just curious because having bilingual staff in the location is definitely a bonus. It is something you see in bigger cities and in other hotels.
Rooms are outdated in style and amenities. Nevertheless it is clean. It would be good to see rooms to be renovated and updated as newer hotels are better accommodating and utilising better services/functionalities.
Heated flooring would be nice for the bathroom but none found during our stay.

Right next to the main road, with parking lot, good location, large room, complete facilities. The only downside is that the socket at the bedside is far away, which makes charging inconvenient. You can only make do with it.

KKatarzynaExceptional place and staff. The room was exceptionally cosy, and the bed was literally the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. Breakfast and restaurant's dishes were delicious, often serving veggies from their own garden. Staff is very friendly and helpful, always ready to provide every kind of tourist information. The surrounding is beautiful and calm. In one word: absolutely best place to relax!

EE FungI was really well treated and the staff were professional and polite. The buffet style breakfast is very very good. The room is spacious and the bathroom is spacious and clean. The self service and free laundry equipment is LG commercial series is the amenity that I like most.

GGuest UserThe hotel room is very clean, the pillows are very comfortable, and the location is on the edge of the scenic area, but the scenic area is not big, so it doesn't have much impact. Because I live in the scenic area, I can arrange the evening schedule very easily. After watching the wonderful sparks, I can slowly enjoy the night view of the scenic area. The only poor experience is the shuttle bus arranged by the scenic area. When there are a lot of luggage, they can't lend a hand to help put it down, or guide to put the luggage down. It is indeed a bit lacking in human touch. Although it is a commercial scenic spot, adding a little humanistic care may attract more repeat customers😏

There are little bits on the ground, as if some unknown juice has been poured on it.

GGuest UserI have been paying attention to the relevant information about Chikan Ancient Town since the summer vacation, and finally made a trip during the National Day holiday.
1. This time I booked a family room at Chaoqi Family Hotel, the only family hotel in the ancient town. It accommodates 2 adults and 3 children (two of them are 12 years old 😂). The 2 beds are just right. I booked it from now on From the beginning of the hotel, there is a customer service butler + WeChat to arrange accommodation matters (how many people are staying, registration of license plate number, check-in process, dining options, etc.). The service is in place and very attentive👍🏻. The supplies prepared in the hotel are also prepared per person. . The only small regret is that this room type does not have a balcony. What I thought was a bunk bed is actually a children's play area, but it is very empty. It would be better if it was decorated more. When I left the hotel, I was given 2 boxes of small cookies.
2. There is a children's play area and a water splash area in the nest. The children's play area has a wave pool, a slide, a building block table, and a book corner. It is very suitable for children to play here. However, maybe due to the new decoration, there is still a slight smell and the ventilation needs to be strengthened. As for the water play area, the housekeeper There was a reminder to bring swimsuits, but we didn’t go play in the water, so I won’t comment.
3. Catering: The package I ordered included breakfast and a main meal. I chose the buffet style for breakfast and ate it at Meitang Hotel. Although there were not many varieties, the taste was still good (I forgot to take pictures); I chose the main meal option. Xinglong Beef Hot Pot, a meal for 2 people. I ordered 2 more dishes, but all 4 of us almost didn't finish it. The portion size and taste were okay. In fact, there are many dining options in the scenic area, but the package includes them so I can’t try anything else.
4. The location of the hotel: Chaoqi is not in the center of the ancient town. It is next to two squares and close to Situ Pier. It is very close to the scenic spots in the picture and it is not very noisy at night, unlike Meitang Hotel and Yiyi Hotel. Like Xi Hotel, there is a camping bar or snack street downstairs.
5. It’s a bit hot during the two days of National Day, so I can’t visit all the attractions in the ancient town. I can only check in the attractions near the hotel. It is recommended that after entering the scenic area, you first take the Dangdang bus (tram), which costs 50 oceans per person, and goes around the outskirts of the ancient town. Walk around and get to know the layout of the entire scenic spot first, then walk slowly and check in. You don’t have to be like us, wandering around like a blind fly on the first day without being able to tell the difference between east, west, north and south 😂. You can also feed pigeons at the entrance of Christ Church during the day (but the food for feeding pigeons is expensive in my opinion, 2 small bags cost 15 oceans, and you can feed them all in one go😂)
6. I heard from the staff that the ancient town was only opened to the public in January 2023, so there are still many facilities or shops under construction. I hope there will be opportunities for a second visit in the future.

SStevan AntonijevicStay in this hotel was good. Rooms are clean, everything looks new. The stuff was very nice and polite. They spoke a bit of English with us. But anyway, everything was clear and ok.
Breakfast is poor, it is a buffet, but not much to offer. Food was fresh and the restaurant was clean and new. But they only had noodles, couple of different vegetables, eggs, some bread options and that's it. Hotel is not that big, not so many guest and it is not crowded. Which was good.

GGuest UserThe apartment is ideal location and very convenient to access the necessary amenities at surrounding areas. The room is clean and comfortable to stay. Daily service room and the response on the feedback are good. Please keep it up.
Few keys are required the owner to improve as below
1) Balcony door couldn't be closed.
2) The shower head holder couldn't be hold the shower head.
3) The bathroom sink is slightly clogged. The water didn't drain down smoothly.

The staff at the hotel was nice and helpful. We were happy we stayed there instead of some big hotel in Kaiping city.
