I highly recommend this hotel! ❣️ The two lady bosses were incredibly gentle and provided excellent service. As soon as I arrived, I was warmly welcomed, and they gave me recommendations for attractions and local highlights. The room even had a handmade map with recommended sights and delicious restaurants, which was incredibly helpful. The room was bright and clean, and the air conditioning worked perfectly ✨. The bathroom was new, and the mirror had lights, which is super convenient for women doing their makeup. The hotel's location is great for sightseeing. It's only about 1 kilometer to Liyuan Garden, so if you're up for a walk, you can easily get there on foot. Other diaolou (watchtowers) are about a 10 to 20-minute drive from the hotel. There's a bus stop near the hotel, but the buses are infrequent, so you'll need to plan your schedule carefully. Since I don't drive, I mostly relied on taxis, and I had no trouble getting one quickly, whether it was around 9 AM or 8 PM 🚕.

This was a great experience. The hotel is modern but built on the edge of an old village with several diaolou and a walled compound with an ancestral hall and other old buildings Zilicun is just a 10 min walk away. The hotel staff provided 5 star service- very attentive, afternoon snacks, a large breakfast, free laundry, and even a pick up from the station. I felt very welcome. The room was spacious. I paid extra for a room with a view of several Diaolou which was totally worth it. There is a restaurant on site and I had 2 meals there which were excellent. There is a karaoke kit and the owner likes to play his guitar and sing along and he does a good job. All music stops after 9PM so it doesn’t interfere with your night rest. Overall a great experience and I would not hesitate to come back.

TSINGPLE Hotel is in Kaiping City centre next to Vanguard shopping centre and conveniently located. Abundance of restaurants and coffee shops all within walking distance and also close to a river. Hotel services are great with good amenities such as breakfast buffet and many small items in the lobby free of charge such as candies bandages eye glasses cleaning tissue paper. Free laundry with detergent. Some rooms have smoking smells recommend hotel to have some nonsmoking rooms.

Facilities: A great B&B, very convenient for exploring the surrounding area. I enjoyed cycling around, even on a cloudy day, it was really pleasant. Environment: Very quiet and beautiful. Service: The housekeeper provided excellent service; they even turned on the AC for us before we arrived because of the hot weather. Sam's Club Snacks: The room came with some complimentary Sam's Club snacks and lemon tea! I'll definitely visit again.

The room was clean and tidy. The air conditioner was turned on in advance, and it felt cool and comfortable as soon as I entered. There is a big yellow orchid tree in the yard, and the flowers are fragrant. The view is the green fields, which is pleasing to the eye. The restaurant's food tastes good, but the reception capacity needs to be improved during holidays. It is a bit busy to handle too many people.

Staying at Qiao Xiaoguan was such a pleasant surprise! The front desk staff, especially the lady at check-in/check-out, was incredibly efficient, so there was no waiting. Their service was excellent and enthusiastic, and they responded promptly to any requests. The room itself was spotlessly clean with no strange odors. The bathroom had a good wet/dry separation, and the facilities were very comprehensive, including smart home features throughout. The bed was super comfortable, and the soundproofing was decent. The location is great, just a five or six-minute drive from the attractions. There was plenty of hot water, and the front desk even had Qipaos available for guests to take photos within the hotel! The amenities are very complete, with a breakfast restaurant, gym, and coffee bar. The buffet breakfast was also abundant. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

We had a wonderful stay at the ChaoQi Hotel. After a smooth check-in, a convenient cart picked us up and brought us directly to our room door. The location is incredible, situated inside the Chikan resort where you can find numerous restaurants, shops, and attractions. A great perk was that our stay included entry tickets, giving us the chance to enjoy many of the resort's lively shows. Our room was super comfortable, impeccably clean, and very family-friendly. Our kids especially loved the indoor playground on the ground floor. The buffet breakfast offered a fantastic variety of options, featuring multiple live stations with both Asian and Western choices. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again if I return to the Kaiping area.

Due to traffic, we checked in at 2 AM this time. The hotel overall was good. Because we checked in so late and had two small children, we asked if we could check out at 2 PM. The front desk staff said no because it was a holiday. I didn't think this was very reasonable, but decided to let it go. Luckily, the location was convenient for getting around, the room was spacious and clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the cleanliness was well-maintained. The front desk was efficient for both check-in and check-out, and the breakfast variety was decent. Overall, it offered good value for money. It was a comfortable stay, making our trip enjoyable and stress-free.

It wasn't your typical cookie-cutter hotel, and that's exactly what I loved. The peaceful environment was a welcome escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing for a truly relaxing stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, always ready with a smile and providing to-the-point service – no fuss, just what I needed. A huge plus was the hotel's location. Being within walking distance of so many attractions made exploring a breeze. And when I got hungry, the abundance of great food options nearby was the cherry on top. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable stay. It's in rural area and rides may not be to easy to get after 10pm. If you plan to return late to the hotel, be sure to know how to contact the hotel just in case the front desk is closed. Sorry to wake you at the middle of night boss lady!

This time, I chose to stay at Jinxu Hotel inside Chikan Ancient Town, hoping for an immersive experience of the ancient town. However, the overall experience was quite disappointing, with many things to complain about regarding both the hotel service and the scenic area itself. To be fair, the hotel's location is indeed a strong point—being right inside the scenic area makes getting around the ancient town very convenient. Unfortunately, the room amenities and services fail to keep up. The room telephone went unanswered despite multiple attempts, making it very difficult to reach the hotel staff in a timely manner when issues arose. The toiletries provided in the room were of extremely poor quality, especially the comb, which broke the moment I tried to use it. When we contacted the staff to request a replacement, we were told we would have to wait a long time. In the end, we checked out without ever receiving the replacement comb. The issue was never resolved, making for a terrible experience with the toiletries. As for Chikan Ancient Town itself, the architecture features distinct Republic-era arcade-style buildings, but the family-friendly experience leaves much to be desired. Most of the town's performances are geared towards adults, with almost no shows suitable for children to watch or participate in. If you are traveling with kids, it's hard to find activities appropriate for them. Furthermore, many exhibition halls and attraction points in the ancient town were either tightly shut and closed to the public or completely empty inside. In the electricity-themed exhibition area, many interactive devices were broken and out of order. The actual content available for exploration was far less than expected, and in many places, visitors can only do a quick, superficial walkthrough, which greatly detracts from the overall visitor experience. Overall, while the ancient town has a great architectural atmosphere, the hotel's hardware, service responsiveness, and the scenic area's attractions all have obvious shortcomings. Families traveling with children should think twice before booking.
