"This hotel was incredibly popular during the May Day holiday! It was my first time waiting nearly half an hour just to check in at a hotel. After finally getting to the front desk, I was told my room wasn't ready and I'd have to wait another half hour. Mind you, it was already 3:30 PM when I was checking in. After waiting an hour, they told me the room still wasn't ready. Eventually, close to 5 PM, they upgraded our room. Putting aside all that, the room itself was actually quite nice. We were upgraded to a garden view, which overlooked the swimming pool and the rainbow stairs. The room was decent, nothing fancy, and you could tell the hotel has been around for a while, but it's clear they invested a lot in the decor. Honestly, good hotels usually aren't too far apart in terms of style; it's the service that really counts. I think everyone here, from the porters who greeted us when we got out of the car to the front desk staff and even the cleaning aunties, was incredibly warm and responsive to our needs, which was a big plus. Plus, the hotel has a really nice kids' club. It's perfect for families with children of all ages."

GGuest UserWe choosed this hotel to celebrate the new year with the family. This was my second visit to this hotel. We had an outstanding stay at this hotel—it exceeded expectations in every way. The property was immaculately clean and impressively equipped with modern technology, creating a seamless and comfortable experience from check-in to check-out. A special mention goes to Ms. Luo at the front desk (前台罗小姐), whose warmth and attentiveness truly made our visit memorable. She graciously upgraded both of our rooms and regularly checked in to ensure we had everything we needed. Her thoughtful service added a personal touch that we deeply appreciated. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, with a wide range of amenities that cater to both leisure and business travelers. The breakfast area was bright and welcoming, offering a diverse selection of dishes that were especially accommodating for international guests like us. Parking was hassle-free, with complimentary spaces available for hotel guests—a much-appreciated convenience. All in all, this was an exceptional experience. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again on my next visit.

TTravelling HIt’s a good hotel. Brand new, luxurious, nice facilities. The room itself was very nicely designed and comfortable. Only thing that needs improvement is the air quality of the rooms. They don’t enforce a strict no-smoking policy. Which is fine, but they also don’t have an air purifier. So if you have asthma or breathing problems that may be an issue. I already informed the manager and hope they take the necessary steps to purchase some air purifiers as they are only about 750 Yuan. I hope to return in the future and if I see them having some air purifiers on board that could take their rating to a 5/5 in the future. GGuest UserStaying at the Banyan Tree Dongguan Songshan Lake during the May Day holiday, I was blown away! It's a hidden Lingnan gem nestled by Songshan Lake, with its red walls, dark tiled roofs, and shimmering lake views. Every step feels like walking through an oriental poem. The hotel environment is private and tranquil, filled with the captivating scent of native Incense trees, instantly washing away any travel fatigue. The rooms are spacious and luxurious, starting from 70㎡, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering stunning lake and mountain views. The private villa hot spring bath is incredibly soothing, and the turndown service is meticulous and thoughtful, adding a wonderful touch of ceremony. The reception service was incredibly warm and attentive; even during the peak May Day holiday, they were quick to respond. They proactively helped with luggage and provided excellent recommendations for activities, exceeding all expectations. I especially appreciated the comfortable size of the mountain-view villa they arranged, and the SPA massage technique was top-notch [thumbs up]. The dining is abundant and delicious; the Cantonese dim sum for breakfast is authentic, and the ingredients are fresh. The lakeside infinity pool, professional Banyan Tree SPA, and kids' club are all excellent facilities, and there are plenty of activities for children. I'd love to bring my kids here next time for a full resort experience. Choosing this place for an off-season trip means escaping the crowds and enjoying private lake and mountain views – a perfect high-end vacation experience. Highly recommended!

I especially appreciated the daily housekeeping service, which kept the room clean and fresh throughout my visit. The room itself was quite spacious, even though I booked one of the more budget-friendly options, which was a pleasant surprise. One area that could be improved is the lighting control in the room. There is no central switch to dim or turn off the lights, so I had to walk around the room to switch off different lights before going to sleep. Additionally, the bathroom layout separates the toilet from the shower area, requiring a few steps to move between them. The hotel provides clothes washing services but it’s chargeable and the price is on high side. One piece of normal ladies pant cost RMB50, male pant cost RMB45. If you give the clothes the housekeeping staff before 11am, they will send the clothes back to your room within the same day. Pullman Hotel also offers several in-house dining options, including Chinese and Japanese-style restaurants within the premises, which made dining very convenient. If you order food delivery , they have the robot machine to send your food to the room, just make sure you indicated the room number clearly. The lift required a room card to access hence the dispatcher will not be able to send the food to your room. Hotel staff is helpful, I requested them to collect the parcel on my behalf from the locker located at basement and they acting it very fast. Keeping them for me even though the check in date was a week later. Overall, it was still a very pleasant and comfortable stay at Pullma.

GGuest UserRight before Chinese New Year, my friends and I decided to take a short trip and chose this hotel because it's quite close to home, about an hour's drive away. It's also not far from the highway exit, which makes it convenient for self-driving. The hotel itself has a strong festive atmosphere for the New Year, and there are many facilities for kids to play with. I'd recommend it for families.

GGuest UserA great hotel! It was fate that the Junlan Hotel, where I'd stayed before, didn't have single rooms available, so I ended up staying at this hotel much later. Aside from the slightly dated facilities, everything else was surprisingly good. Transportation, dining, and everything else are all very conveniently located here! The breakfast was also very filling! I highly recommend staying here again!
