Huge and unwelcoming structure that boasts only a beautiful panorama. Normal breakfast.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ My Sister and I stayed at Skiathos Palace Hotel for a week in May 2025, and it was absolutely STUNNING! The views over Koukounaries Bay are next-level beautiful, perfect for sunset dinners. Our room was comfy and clean, and the food was consistently fresh and delicious. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the island itself is just full of charm. Honestly, one of the most relaxing and scenic holidays we’ve had. Highly recommend for anyone wanting peace, beauty, and good vibes ❤️

Lots of positives. Views from the pool over Koukournaries Bay were fantastic. The beach was fantastic and a short walk down steps. Not so great going back up in the sun! The hotel had regular shuttles to and from the beach and to the town centre. We were half board and the buffet was very good generally. We were particularly impressed in the way in which they supported our daughter who has Coeliac disease. They could not have done more. Staff generally in the restaurant in particular were very nice- bar staff less so Few negatives. 1. Drinks were expensive but sadly becoming the norm in the Med hotels these days. 2. The hotel is a little isolated so you need to go to the beach to access supermarkets and others bars and restaurants. In that respect you are a captive audience - hence the €7 beers! 3. Usual nonsense with getting up early to secure loungers by the pool! 4. Rooms were basic and not equipped with coffee and tea despite there being a kettle and cups ? Cleaning was functional. However taken in total we had a lovely holiday

Wonderful family holiday! Superb hotel! Vasilis at the bar made amazing cocktails and turned out to be a great friend by the end of the holiday! Milica in the kids playground area looked after our children like her own she was so contentive and loving to the children cheered them up each and every night! We'd also like to mention Efi, Rafaela, Alma and Fauis they truly made our holiday what it was and made the hotel for us a 5* - we just want to thank them so much and we'll remember them forever and will be sure to revisit Skiathos Palace next year!

July 2025 was our 4th stay at Skiathos Palace hotel, which in itself speaks for how much we enjoy it. The hotel is very well maintained & clean. The rooms are lovely & comfortable. The communal reception, terraces, pool, pool bar, restaurant ... are all really great. The staff are outstanding. Everyone from receptionists, cleaners, waiters and waitresses, bar staff. Without exception all are genuinely friendly, helpful and guest-oriented. I recognise many of these people from previous years which indicates they enjoy what they do and this clearly shows in their attitude. The panoramic position of the hotel is wonderful with views over the busier Koukounaries beach and also the quieter but lovely Maratha beach. However the elevated views come with the price of many steps to get to and from the hotel. So if you're not entirely comfortable with steps then maybe this isn't the place for you. Otherwise, it's glorious. The public buses run every 10 minutes all day til after midnight from the main road directly outside the hotel, so it's cheap and easy to travel the 20 minute journey up to Skiathos main town. Also the hotel run shuttle buses and there's a €7 water taxi too from Koukounaries if that's your preference. One gripe would be about sunbeds. I'm told people are up at 6.30am putting towels down to secure a bed by the pool and by 9.00am they all gone for the day. Some of the reserved beds remain unused virtually all day whilst people go off on trips and come back mid-afternoon. If the hotel discouraged this by, for example, ruling that any bed remaining unused for an hour is made available for other guests then that would overcome the 6.30am nonsense. Who wants to be getting up to grab a bed at that time whilst on holiday ! Sunbeds aside, the place is excellent and I can't recommend it highly enough.

Very nice place and very peaceful vacation. The hotel is beautiful, especially the ambiance surrounding it. The only complaint about the hotel is that it does not have mosquito nets. It is very clean, the food in the hotel is excellent, the staff is more than helpful. The service of the children's playroom, and the phenomenal girl Milica, who took care of the children as she would take care of her own child, meant a lot to me. Overall, a vacation in the truest sense of the word. A big greeting to Milica and the driver of the beach bus, who is also a very helpful and pleasant person! See you next summer.

We had a truly lovely experience during our family vacation in Skiathos. The hotel was comfortable, the views stunning, and the staff welcoming and attentive throughout our stay. As parents traveling with a baby, we especially appreciated how thoughtfully everything was arranged for families with young children. What made our stay even more special was the hotel’s babysitter – Milica. She is not just a caregiver, but a true artist in working with children. Our baby girl, Gala, immediately felt at ease with her, and we were able to relax knowing she was in warm, capable hands. Milica’s kindness, creativity, and calm presence left a deep impression on us. Gala lit up every time she saw her – a sign of genuine connection. We heard that kind words mean a lot to Milica, so we just want to say: thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the love and care you gave our little one. You made our holiday brighter. We warmly recommend this hotel to all families with young children – it offers not only a beautiful setting but also the rare peace of mind that your child is truly cared for.

Absolutely stunning location and panoramic views! Cleaning staff were very thorough and cleaned everyday rooms beautifully made up and clean. There was always staff to help in reception area and plenty of professional staff to help behind the desk. Staff always around the front lobby to take bags or help or guide you. Restaurant is massive portions and great quality of food! Breakfast supplied you with everything you could possibly want fresh and great variety. Friendly efficient and professional all the staff in every area of the hotel.

This is a lovely elevated hotel in Koukanaris in Skiathos. It is situated 20 mins bus ride from Skiathos town (the buses run every 15 mins) and the bus stop is right outside the hotel. Across the road from the hotel is Koukanaries beach which is a wide, clean and sandy beach and is very popular. There are sunbeds, watersports, a small supermarket and tavernas available. There is also a water taxi from the far end of the beach that will take you to Skiathos town (20 mins) which is great fun, it costs 7 euros one way and we were really fortunate to see a pod of 3 dolphins when we went on the taxi - so really worth the experience. The hotel is in a fab elevated position which over looks the beach and sea, whilst this is great for the views, there are lots of steps, so this hotel would be unsuitable for anyone with mobility issues. Our room for 3 adults in July 25, was a reasonable size and had all of the usual facilities, decent air con, shower gel, shampoo etc, bathrobes and slippers, safe and fridge. The only thing that lacked for us was there was no iron or ironing board available for use. The pool area is quite small with not a lot of space, although it is always kept really clean and tidy by the grounds staff. This means that the sunbeds are packed together pretty tightly and the early morning reservations are required - although overall it isn't too bad. There are 3 restaurants, one is on the roof top which is a la carte and you need to book, another other is the main restaurant used for breakfast and evening meals (if you are half board). The views from this restaurant are lovely and there is plenty of seating outside on the terrace which is really pleasant, although in the evening it can still feel quite warm so grab a table in the shade. The food is great, breakfast is the usual choices with fresh juices, fruit, cooked breakfast, pastries and of course amazing greek yoghurt. Evening meals were great as well, everything was well presented and tasted delicious, we had no issues and really enjoyed the food. Drinks were reasonably priced. I recommend going half board as there are not a lot of restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel, although there is on decent one called the big bad wolf that everyone said was lovely. The final restaurant is the snack bar used at lunch time, which is reasonable value - ham and cheese toastie 5 euros, sandwich 9 euros and salads 11 euros etc, drinks are fairly priced. There is a supermarket near the hotel if you need snacks, take a right out of the hotel and follow the road round for about 15 mins and it will be on your right hand side. There are lots boat trips that you can from Skiathos town, the bus ride from the hotel is 4 euros and takes 20 mins to the port, most of the boat trips leave from 9.30 or 10.00 am. We did the mama mia boat trip to Skopoles and Alsonissos and it was fab, it was a full day from 9 - 7pm but it was really enjoyable, it took you to the other islands and stopped off at a beac
