This hotel has all the makings for a premier city hotel: location, being adjacent to the convention center, as well as downtown restaurants and more; the appearance is very nice, from the lobby to the room itself; and the staff shows that approach to service one looks for when traveling. All of this and more, and it sounds like we are headed for a nice quality stay: But not so fast…. The Good: The lobby is simply beautiful, with clean modern lines, but still giving that welcoming feel. The front desk help was simply amazing: Abbi and Abbey were genuinely friendly, knowledgeable and prompt: Enjoyed my conversation with them, and the valuable information learned. And of course there’s Ed, an older “guest relations”type gentleman, who greets everyone with a complimentary glass of champagne; and somehow remembers the names of each and everyone he speaks too; remarkable. The rooms are modern and inviting; even the bathrooms have a nice upscale feel to them. So far, I’m overly impressed, especially in this price range…. But The Bad: Not a deal breaker, but when opting to pay more for a room with a view, we didn’t exactly get one from our 3rd floor room. A friend of ours booked a normal room, and ended up on the 5th floor with a view; and for much less money. Feels like paying for an upgrade is a waste of money. Also: Off n on during the night, emergency vehicles were blasting up n down Henley Street with the sirens blaring. I certainly understand being in the city, you’d expect this on a normal basis; but the walls of the hotel certainly showed their thinness. These sirens were very loud, and we weren’t even in a room facing Henley. This isn’t the fault of the hotel, but still worth noting. And then there’s the $28 fee for valet parking(no self parking). It just seems a bit much in my opinion. The valet guys do a nice job, so I’d rather tip them more, as to see the hotel charge this much. The Ugly: I hate to find anything that qualifies as a deal breaker, but… We returned from dinner, and couldn’t get the tv to tune in: I’m not sure why it said “no signal or connection”… No big deal, as we were worn out from all the youth basketball games we attended, but it would’ve been nice to at least watch a few mins of something. But the one major letdown I cannot overlook, was an A/C unit malfunction. We woke up to a pool of sweat, and called the front desk. The gentleman showed up, looked at it, and said he could have engineering look at it at 7am. Well, not sure what he thought we’d do for sleep, as it was simply too hot to just doze on off: And strangely and disappointingly, no one ever followed up the next day. Of course this type of hotel design doesn’t have windows that can be used for ventilation, so there was no relief period. I don’t think either of us rested much if any, so it pretty much ruined the entire stay. Things happen, but maybe an offer to move us to another room, which wasn’t an easy task in the middle of the night,

CCarawayHighly recommend. The room wasn’t big but it was just my friend and I so we were very comfortable. Very clean. The people at the reception desk were friendly, helpful, and respectful. The housekeeper I ran into was very nice. 10/10. If you’re staying in Knoxville I highly recommend staying here great experience.
GGuest UserThis was our best hotel stay in ages. We were checked in by Natalie, who was friendly, helpful, and just fun. She made sure to get us a quiet room and made sure we were clear on how to get to our evening's destination. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. The wifi took a bit of finagling to get connected, but once we got it connected, it stayed connected and worked well. We slept soundly and comfortably, waking up refreshed. Check out went smoothly. We'll return if possible.
Rrandybeaty2020Under normal conditions this hotel would be too expensive for an expense report. But since services, like the hot breakfast buffet had to be cut back due to Covid-19 restrictions, this hotel adjusted the nightly charge. So I got a studio apartment with a fully equipped kitchen for a week. Loved the staff. Very professional as well as generous. Within walking distance to Walmart and restaurants.
Had a very positive experience with Julian who is the supervisor/GM of the Home2Suites Knoxville West location. Long story, but he was extremely professional and accommodating to our family. This location is going through some renovations and the staff bent over backwards to accommodate our requests. Thank you Julian!
GGuest UserTarget, West town mall, Starbucks, tj maxx, the wash house laundromat, etc. There are just so many businesses within 100 ft of this hotel it’s so convenient to everything!

KKent GI've stayed this hotel many times when I come visit back to Knoxville. I was in for my 45th class reunion this past weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the centralized location of this hotel! I will always stay there every time I come in to Knoxville because I get a good rate with my Wyndham app as well as it's inner centralized location for me to meet family and friends!
NNationalParkHikerNot sure why this motel has only three reviews and they are all 1's. Not a bad motel at all but dated. Pretty good value in our opinion. We’re been in Knoxville a number of times recently to help a relative rehab an old house and for most of those times have stayed at the Quality Inn at the Strawberry Plains exit off I-40. It’s clean and comfortable, and the price is reasonable. Front desk workers are friendly and helpful. A placard in the bathroom states “let’s work together to conserve water and energy resources.” It goes on to say that towels and sheets will be changed every three days unless requested sooner. Most motels tell you to hang up towels, and they won’t be changed; here, it flat out said they would not be changed. Guess what??? They were! We are happy to reuse towels and always dismayed to find that the stated policy has not been followed. I wish someone from management or corporate headquarters would explain this to me! Except for this (and to us, it’s a pretty big deal!), this motel always serves our needs, and we have no reservations about returning in the future.
