"It is unfortuate we are having to write a negative review because we were really looking forward to our stay. Our room was beautiful and the check in process was smooth and staff were extremely friendly. Breakfast was a really good selection. However we booked this stay due to the spa facilities and we were extremely let down. On the first day we arrived late afternoon and went straight to the spa for a massage which was lovely and staff attentive. However the spa itself was unclean, there was a strong sewage smell and the changing room were dirty with wet towels everywhere, overflowing showers and general rubbish around. On the second day we headed up to use the gym and spa however the heated pool was broken, the sauna doors had been left open so no heat, the herbal pools had to amenities or plugs to fill the baths with. There was a queue of day guests getting refunds so we asked the manager if it was possible we could be compensated as we booked based on the spa facilities and both days hadn't been the best experiences. She told us no as we were not paying customers to the spa (even though we paid to stay two nights), she told us if she refunded us she would have to take wages from the staff or give up her wage. She said the spa was free so there was nothing to refund. We asked for a complaints email but she told us no as she feared for her job. She instead sent a fruit platter of three oranges and two apples to our room. This was unfortunate as the main reason we stayed here was for the spa use."

"Friendly and helpful hotel staff to assist us when we faced some issue there. Just walk a minute reach the cable station (Sun Plaza), night market and Sapa presentation stage. If you like massage, just walk along the hotel, many massage shop can be selected. But, need bargain the service price. You may enjoy the delicious dish like salmon hotpot, pumpkin chicken soup restaurant just nearby the hotel. And, the hotel breakfast also variety of dish served."

"Wonderful Stay at Fansipan Hotel in Sapa We recently spent two nights and three days at Fansipan Hotel in Sapa, and it was a fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us warmly and provided excellent service throughout our stay. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, offering breathtaking views of the mountains. The cozy atmosphere made our stay relaxing after long days of exploring Sapa’s beautiful landscapes. The hotel’s location was also convenient, making it easy to visit nearby attractions. Breakfast was delicious, with a variety of options to start the day. The staff was always attentive and ready to assist with any requests, from travel arrangements to recommendations for local sights. "Beautiful hotel - service leaves room for improvement We arrived early and let the hotel know about 10 days prior that we will be arriving at 4am. I called the front desk who asked me to walk about 50m but wasn’t clear about the direction. After 30 mins he sent a buggy to pick us up. A common theme is that some staff don’t communicate if they don’t know something or are unable to help. They just nod and it’s really difficult to discern whether they’re going to do anything or not. Just let me know you don’t know or can’t help - even in Vietnamese! At least I can translate it myself. After 3 hours of waiting in the freezing lobby, Lala explained the process and gave us clarity on next steps. She was kind enough to upgrade as it was my birthday and it was slow season, which I appreciated. Lala is a gem - she came by and everything was really smooth after that. She was cheerful and clear in her communication. She gave useful recommendations and she was clear in what she could and could not do. She was really great and we appreciated her help greatly. Overall a good, clean hotel - a bit far from the town but that’s a good thing. Facilities are good and plenty - you probably don’t even need to go to the town area. Most of the staff except for a handful are quite difficult to interact with due to their refusal to give bad news or say they don’t know something."

"Walking distance (15 minutes) from Sapa bus station, and the hotel is very close to the monorail for Fansipan. It is located on a small incline walk up though, so might not recommend for elderly travellers. Amenities and cleanliness good. They also have a hose outside the hotel for cleaning of shoes after trekking 😅 quiet surroundings so sleep was good. Toilets are clean (no bathtub). Breakfast was okay, nothing to shout about, pancakes were decent. All in all a comfortable stay!"

"The location was really good, close to everything and the town without being to close to the noise etc (Just need walk up the hill) The service and the staff was super nice, happyful and kind. The massage there was also very good and same price as outside. The room was very big, air con had heat and cool, Very happy I choose this places"

"location - About 4-5 minutes walk from Sapa Station - About 2-3 minutes away from Sapa Cathedral - Come out of the entrance and go up the stairs on the right to enter Ham Rong Mountain. - Turn left at the entrance and go down the stairs to Sapa Station or Cat Cat Village. (ATMs that accept Travel Wallet, Kong Cafe, and supermarkets are also located here) - It is about a 10-minute walk to Sapa Lake. - Overall, it is in a good location in Sapa in terms of travel. (Good location for going anywhere, including Fansipan, Cat Cat Village, and the cathedral) facility - There is a terrace so the view is nice. - The shower room is a bit narrow, the water pressure is good, but the water drains a little poorly. - It is very nice to have a bidet installed. - The amenities are good and the dryer has strong wind and the installation location is good. - There is no inconvenience in charging as there is a power *****. - It's pretty clean and I didn't particularly see any bugs. - Air conditioning and heating were installed and operated without problem. service - Breakfast seems to have about 12 to 15 menus (buffet style), and about 10 menus can be ordered. - Breakfast is quite delicious, and I usually eat a lot of omelettes, but they are delicious. - The staff speaks good English and is very friendly. Although it is a bit pricey, traveling/touring in Sapa does not take a lot of time, so it is recommended to choose a decent hotel itself. Overall, it wasn't a luxury hotel, but it was an accommodation that didn't have any inconveniences. In particular, the location was very convenient because you could walk to everything around this area unless you were going for ethnic trekking. (Generally, most restaurants frequented by Koreans are located around here)"
